This was the worst medical experience of my life. There are…read moretoo many details to type. A brief synopsis would include: I arrived with a bone spur that was not causing me pain at the time. The Dr. examined me and asked if I'd eaten anything that morning. I told him I had. He said he wouldn't be able to give me anesthesia because I had eaten. Instead of scheduling me on another day, he said: "we can do it with Nitrous Oxide gas." He explained that it would act as an anesthetic. He and his assistant fitted a mask to my face and began. To get to the bone they cut the gum, and used an elec. saw (Piezo?)to grind the bone down. I was screaming in pain through all this and they kept giving me more gas. It went on forever it seemed. The pain was intolerable. I required 18 stitches to close the wound. When they were done the paper on the exam table was shredded from my struggles. On the way out the assistant told me "oh, I changed the pain meds to a milder one!" This was 11/25/25 and it was effectively Thanksgiving. The pain meds didn't get ordered through my health plan. When I finally got though to the Drs emergency number, and actually got them, they were not strong enough to stop the pain. I told my wife I wanted to die. The pain was that bad. The medicine I was prescribed was Norco, the assistant changed it to Tramadol, but even that never got to the pharmacy. An error at the Oral Surgeon's office caused that. It was not transmitted correctly. Later, I reported this to Kaiser, and to my DDS who had referred, me not knowing I would receive such treatment. I wanted my dentist to not refer anyone to this practice. Finally on my last visit I was given a slip of paper telling me about a $10 Amazon gift card for a 5 Star review on Google, as well as Yelp. I won't expect a gift card. My follow up visit consisted mostly of the Dr telling me I had no tolerance for pain. No tolerance for pain. The final (3rd.) visit he never entered the room. The assistant examined me, left to speak to him, came back and said "Dr says you're all good." There's more but you get the idea.

He and his entire team are incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional. I am extremely pleased with my results. I had virtually no pain after surgery and only needed regular Tylenol for the first three days. Since I'm very sensitive to medications, that was a huge plus for me. Dr. Hirsch performed a total capsulectomy, which was exactly what I was hoping for. During the nine days after surgery, it was very easy to reach the office by phone or email whenever I had questions, and they were always responsive and helpful. My biggest fear about this surgery was having the drains, but even having them removed was completely painless. The surgery center where the procedure was performed was also outstanding. Everyone made me feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for from start to finish. Overall, my experience exceeded my expectations, and I'm so grateful I found Dr. Hirsch. After four years of having implants what I once thought would make me feel great about myself only made me feel horrible physically. I spent months of going back and forth on choosing to keep them or explant I finally did it. While I enjoyed the time having implants, I do not regret my decision to remove them. Once I arrived home from surgery I immediately knew I was going to be so satisfied with my results. I felt a great sense of relief, not only physical but emotional as well. I have so much energy and I am looking forward to see what relief the rest of my recovery will bring! This wasn't my first breast surgery, so choosing the right surgeon for my revision was something I took very seriously. I had older implants, capsular contracture, and needed scar tissue removed, along with replacing my implants and having a breast lift. Dr. Bresnick took the time to explain everything to me, answer my questions, and make sure I understood what could realistically be achieved. I never felt rushed or pressured. For my surgery, I chose 500cc Motiva Ergonomix implants with a circumareolar lift, and I'm truly so happy with how everything is healing and coming together. My breasts already look softer, more balanced and much more natural than they did before. I'm still early in my recovery, so I know my results will continue to settle and change, but even at this stage I feel very confident that I made the right decision. Dr. Bresnick and his team have also been very attentive throughout my recovery. Whenever I've had questions or concerns, I've felt comfortable reaching out and have always felt cared for. I would never want to be seen in a bikini and I use to love wearing them. I guess I was reeled in by the very old, very grainy photos she uses to advertise her practice. Like I said, she is beautiful and has a great bedside manner. She made me feel comfortable and I couldn't wait to give her my money and to have my surgery. She is definitely not conservative when it comes to the amount of fat she removes. I am not familiar with the guidelines in California, but she does take all of the fat out, well most of it, that is... The end result for me was a lopsided, lumpy stomach and now I will have to go to another doctor to have this all repaired, probably will need a tummy tuck, reverse tummy tuck, or both. What a way to spend my days and nights....... feeling like a complete freak and unable to ever have anyone see my body looking like this. She should stick to being a gynecologist. She has a very reassuring manner, but that can't make up for the irreparable damage she has caused, both physically and emotionally. I've seen her replies to other people that have complained about her work across the internet and I'm sure I'll also get a very nasty response. Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself.
