We ate there Friday night and we were early one of the first to go down to the basement for dinner. The prime rib was tough and cold I love beef. We raise cattle and I know what good beef is. Even though I prefer mine more lean this was tough no flavor and served cold. The crab was also not hot they are little snow crab which if you like crab they probably are good. I don't like them and I didn't try them. He ate a couple legs and was over it disappointed. He also thought the prime was cold and tough. The other couple in our party ate sausage and they said it was good. I had cook mashed potatoes and a small spoon of baked macaroni and cheese which was Luke warm. The salad bar is spectacular I could make a meal in the alone. The cleanliness of the place is good other than the person cleaning sprayed cleaner all over the desserts. She was cleaning the glass sneeze guard but sprayed all Willy nilly and sprayed the cleaner all Over the cake. The waitress we had was good for the most part. They were not busy when we went which was around 6 in the evening. I bet they got busy later idk. Everything was ok nothing special. Lots of hype for nothing The place is pretty and they seating is great lots of room. This could be fabulous with hot food So we got really sick in the night with stomach issues. Our whole party. I don't know and am not blaming the Buffett but kinda coincidence. I really liked the variety of foods and the way it was set up. I think they offer a full bar but I am not sure. For the money a person could totally get your moneys worth only if the food would have been hot

Upon entering the place wasn't very busy for 2 pm and we were sat down immediately. Our waitress was excellent. We were advised to try the Trash Can Nachos which were recommended by some locals and even though they were an appetizer my wife ordered them as a meal. They were excellent. I ordered the Wall- Eye Fish and Chips which I also thought was very good. Our waitress came by the table on several occasions to refill our drinks. Only small complaint no Coca-Cola only Pepsi products. Everything else was perfect.

Another very average meal in an understaffed restaurant. We arrived, and there was no one to greet us at the hostess station. I had to go to the back to the restaurant to alert them that there was now a queue of people waiting to be seated (others arrived after us). Our waitress was very nice. I think she was the only person for the whole restaurant. Thankfully we weren't in a rush, but service was slow. We ordered a couple beers and sodas for the kids. One of the beers was not available, so I switched up my order. The beers were locally made and pretty unremarkable. We started with the game sausage sampler. They were fine but not great. Then my kids had their kids meals, and I had the game burger, and my husband had a regular cheeseburger. I thought the game burger was fine, although I couldn't really tell that it was made of any meat other than beef. So not gamy, but not really remarkable either? This is a sports bar in a casino. Strangely enough, two of the screens were showing a pickleball game. I guess that's a sport, but really?

My wife ordered the Chicken Primavera with gluten free penne, featuring grilled chicken, pesto, and carrots. It was excellent and easily the standout dish of the evening. I had the grilled salmon, which was cooked well and was also very good. As always, we put restaurants through a bit of a stress test. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies, while I manage Alpha Gal syndrome, a tree nut allergy, and diabetes. The kitchen was able to accommodate the gluten free pasta request, which we appreciated. The atmosphere is one of the restaurant's biggest strengths. The historic building and the old photographs covering the walls make for a fun dining experience and really add to the character of the place. Service was just okay. Nothing was wrong, but it also wasn't particularly memorable. One thing worth knowing before you go: the restaurant adds a 4% surcharge for credit card payments, so if you'd rather avoid the extra fee, bring cash. Overall, we will probably pick something else a try if we return to Deadwood. Worth it if you are heading there just for the historic atmosphere. It's a great stop if you're spending time in Deadwood.

We made reservations at the deadwood Social Club and when you walk in, it's as advertised. You walk into Saloon 10 and then take an elevator to the 2nd floor to get to the Social Club. While in SD I figured this was the perfect time to try and real bison steak and I did. You can tell it was not beef but it was delicious. The loaded baked potato was also delicious. Their signature cocktail menu included many different options. If you're ever in Deadwood, I highly suggest stopping by there. The service is also amazing.

So, pretty good for a Hampton Inn, with a few hiccups…read more We stayed here for 3 nights in a king bedroom suite. We arrived at 3PM, which is check in time, and our room was not ready. Our room was not ready until 5:30. As we had just flown in from Florida, I really wanted to go to the room and change out of our travel clothing, but that was not an option. Our first afternoon in Deadwood was effectively ruined as there was nowhere to leave our bags and change clothing. The hotel was recently remodeled, so our rooms were very nice, and the mattresses were comfortable. The shower was fine although the water temperature fluctuated, and it was impossible to find the exact point that wasn't either too hot or too cold. The whole hotel vibrated constantly, which made a bunch of appliances in the room rattle or even make weirder noises. I had to leave the microwave door open because closed, the rattling was too loud for the kids to sleep. Breakfasts in the breakfast room were typical Hampton and quite good (for being free). Very friendly staff. Waffle machine with two flavor options and all sorts of different toppings, breakfast sausage, fried eggs, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, toast and cereal. Juice and coffee. On our last day, there was no breakfast offered at Hampton. We were redirected to the restaurant at the Sheraton Four Points. Of course, that place wasn't open yet. And, once we arrived, they were not expecting us, and they wanted a coupon that had not been provided by the Hampton. Thankfully, it was just a short walk back to get things sorted, and thankfully, we weren't in a rush that morning, but still. Parking is across the street. It's through the casino. You need a new scan code each time you drive through, which comes from the front desk. Because of the delay in our check in, our parking was comped, but I believe it's about $15/day. The lot is long and narrow, and if there are big pick up trucks, it feels cramped and precarious.
