Prime Rib and Pizza Station.
Max A.

We stopped here on 4th of July weekend. For around $22 a person, it is awesome. But Vegas buffet, it ain't. It is somewhat limited. I had three slices of Prime Rib - off three different roast, two were perfect and one sucked. The Prime Rib is excellent, really amazing for the price......I was very happy with the cuts. The one cut that was not on par, it was simply way to rare, like moo'ing bloody rare. The au Juice is perfect and flavorful, add the raw horseradish and creamy radish for a fabulous dish. Salad bar was clean and fresh. I had some blue cheese and honey mustard, half and half, for variety, both dressings were great. On the main bar, I sampled the meat loaf (awful, dry, maybe people were skipping?), cowboy beans - A+++++, mac n cheese - solid B, fried chicken - decent, green beans were awful, ribs were okay but I did not like the BBQ sweat sauce. Try the wood fired pizza, it is decent. Pro TIp - just keep an eye out for a fresh pie coming out. Service was excellent, the gal serving us was a hustler with a smile. Overall a great experience.

Prime rib was awesome

My wife ordered the Chicken Primavera with gluten free penne, featuring grilled chicken, pesto, and carrots. It was excellent and easily the standout dish of the evening. I had the grilled salmon, which was cooked well and was also very good. As always, we put restaurants through a bit of a stress test. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies, while I manage Alpha Gal syndrome, a tree nut allergy, and diabetes. The kitchen was able to accommodate the gluten free pasta request, which we appreciated. The atmosphere is one of the restaurant's biggest strengths. The historic building and the old photographs covering the walls make for a fun dining experience and really add to the character of the place. Service was just okay. Nothing was wrong, but it also wasn't particularly memorable. One thing worth knowing before you go: the restaurant adds a 4% surcharge for credit card payments, so if you'd rather avoid the extra fee, bring cash. Overall, we will probably pick something else a try if we return to Deadwood. Worth it if you are heading there just for the historic atmosphere. It's a great stop if you're spending time in Deadwood.

We made reservations at the deadwood Social Club and when you walk in, it's as advertised. You walk into Saloon 10 and then take an elevator to the 2nd floor to get to the Social Club. While in SD I figured this was the perfect time to try and real bison steak and I did. You can tell it was not beef but it was delicious. The loaded baked potato was also delicious. Their signature cocktail menu included many different options. If you're ever in Deadwood, I highly suggest stopping by there. The service is also amazing.

So, pretty good for a Hampton Inn, with a few hiccups…read more We stayed here for 3 nights in a king bedroom suite. We arrived at 3PM, which is check in time, and our room was not ready. Our room was not ready until 5:30. As we had just flown in from Florida, I really wanted to go to the room and change out of our travel clothing, but that was not an option. Our first afternoon in Deadwood was effectively ruined as there was nowhere to leave our bags and change clothing. The hotel was recently remodeled, so our rooms were very nice, and the mattresses were comfortable. The shower was fine although the water temperature fluctuated, and it was impossible to find the exact point that wasn't either too hot or too cold. The whole hotel vibrated constantly, which made a bunch of appliances in the room rattle or even make weirder noises. I had to leave the microwave door open because closed, the rattling was too loud for the kids to sleep. Breakfasts in the breakfast room were typical Hampton and quite good (for being free). Very friendly staff. Waffle machine with two flavor options and all sorts of different toppings, breakfast sausage, fried eggs, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, toast and cereal. Juice and coffee. On our last day, there was no breakfast offered at Hampton. We were redirected to the restaurant at the Sheraton Four Points. Of course, that place wasn't open yet. And, once we arrived, they were not expecting us, and they wanted a coupon that had not been provided by the Hampton. Thankfully, it was just a short walk back to get things sorted, and thankfully, we weren't in a rush that morning, but still. Parking is across the street. It's through the casino. You need a new scan code each time you drive through, which comes from the front desk. Because of the delay in our check in, our parking was comped, but I believe it's about $15/day. The lot is long and narrow, and if there are big pick up trucks, it feels cramped and precarious.

We arrived after driving for six hours only to be told our room wasn't ready. The room was updated…read moreand pretty. Unfortunately, it was very loud as the suite was next to the laundry and housekeeping area. The highway was very loud next to our room. The lighting was poor. The best thing in the room was the comfy bed. The so called air freshener they pumped into the air was awful! I couldn't hang out in the Casino as the air freshener was toxic to my health. Made it hard to breathe or enjoy
