Ila was awesome. Her studio is in her garage, but she has it set up super nicely. You would never even think you were in a garage. She had my daughter and I use hand sanitizer which I completely appreciated in this time of COVID-19. We had a very natural eyebrow threading done, she was fast and professional yet warm. Needed my eyebrows threaded ASAP. The usual places I go to we're either closed or on vacation. I found Ila on yelp and decided to check this place out. This place is in a nice residential neighborhood by Good Samaritan Hospital. Her garage is her transformed work space. I love that this place is close to my house! Will definitely be coming here more often! Ila is very sweet and listens to what you want. She also is very quick but also gentle which I loved, as I have very sensitive skin. I found First Look by using Groupon special with Groupons two day discount promo code (also combined with ebates for money back purchases) that Ila posted up. I also found out that she is on LivingSocial too. I made a phone call and she picked up and booked me in, in less than thirty minutes as I was driving to her place. I will say, if you are using GPS, it will take you a while to find it. I was on the opposite of the island of houses, where her house was. And the house numbers don't follow the standard "across-the-street" or "side-by-side numerically." This is a home business. Thats as local as you are going to get it, and I love supporting local businesses. Ila made her garage into her salon, and its super cute. Also has couches inside too if you don't come alone, they can wait. Ila listened to what I wanted for my eyebrows, and she did it so quickly. It has been a while since I did anything to my upper face, so a little irrataion but Ila did it as smoothly as possible. She applied aloe to help calm it down. Its been over thirty minutes and the irratation is almost gone. I'm glad I searched Groupon and found Ila. I'm definitely coming back! read more

!! BE WARNED!! I had my eyebrows done by Ila. Here is my review for her and her service.!!! Read it very carefully!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Sat down and explained to her that I'm growing my brows out and would like to keep the current thickness, and just want to clean up the stray hairs and get an overall hair trim as it's grown long. She took just 2 min and when I saw my eyebrows, I noticed that she had taken off at least 1/4 of my previous thickness, and the bottom edge of the left brow is completely jagged with two noticeable gaps. When I told her that she had taken off too much and that the left side bottom is jagged, she had the balls to reply, "oh you want the edges to be even and smooth?" I would give 0 star for her work. Later I saw she cut my skin too. Not only that, she stolen my and other customer's information from the salon database where she was working before and use my number to send the group message. I don't know who others were in that group. I was very scared when I saw it. I then called at&t to check if there is a way to remove my number from that group. She also charged me more than what was listed on the price list. I immediately found by just looking at her face that she was lying to me. I told her to let owner know that I was here and I want to talk to them. She never told them and I never heard from owner. Bottom line: Just avoid her.
