Solid brunch spot! So I came in on a whim because it's not that far from me. I needed something decent and quick. Now it wasn't super quick but that was just because of the time that I came in. But I was not disappointed. It's in a shopping area so there's free parking. So at least not to worry about paying, but if it's crowded you may not get close to the door. I just had the worst experince at this location. It's a sunny Saturday, so I had set my expectations for it to be busy. However, one of staff members undershot the wait time for 20 mins when we actually waited about 35 mins. A better estimate would have allowed us the to opportunity decide whether or not we wanted to stay to wait that long. And then when we were notified that our table was ready we had to wait an additional 5 minutes and ultimately just decided to sit at the first available seating which was outside. Our service started out fine at first we even placed our food in immediately. After about 45 minutes waiting, we still hadn't received our food and when we did, it came in pieces. My sister's pancake was cold and came without her additional sides that come with the meal by the way, and when our server did finally bring out the rest of her food, he just placed the food on the table and didn't ask us any additional questions. The only time that we saw him was at the beginning, and when he brought out our water. I ended up just going to the host stand to pay for our food without our check because the heat was unbearable and at that point we had been there for almost 2 hours. I've worked in the service industry for years, so I know how this industry works and I always give my serving staff grace but this experience was absolutely ridiculous. Management, please do a better job at supporting your staff and checking in on your dining guest as I also noticed that other patrons who were sitting outside, we're having a difficult time locating their server as well when it came to their dining experience. read more

One meal was very delayed, so the server brought a blueberry muffin over. Unfortunately, the wait had tainted our experience, so little things started to stand out. I didn't mind that it took about an hour to get a table for two, but I thought it was pretty ridiculous that by the time we were seated, there were a few customers left and yet, it took 45 minutes to get our food. I ordered the Chickichanga, which was average. It included chicken, chorizo, green chilies, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, onions, and avocado. While the inside of the tortilla was decent, it was heavily topped with Vera Cruz sauce, which made it difficult for me to enjoy. This was my first and last visit to First Watch Perimeter. I arrived to meet some friends for brunch and went to the website to see how long the wait was. The website said 20 minutes so I clicked Join the Waitlist. After I filled out my information it said the wait was 45 minutes to an hour. I was 30 minutes early to meet my friends so I continued but already was annoyed because that is very misleading. They have outdoor seating but none of it was being used. I am not entirely sure why as it was a really nice day. When I went inside to let the host know I was there, I noticed that not all the indoor seating was being used either. The noise level is kind of loud as it's just big open room. There's a juice bar in the back of the room. This is the type of place where you take your check to pay at the register at the end of the meal. When we were seated the first thing I noticed right away was garbage on one of the chairs. Secondly there are no sweetener options if you want coffee. Just sugar from what I could tell. Glad I carry Splenda in my purse lol. When we asked for half and half or cream because we didn't want to use the international delight mini moos that were sitting in a pile on the table, the server just brought more international delights. So I guess no actual cream. Milk would've even been better. One nice surprise was that there were brunch cocktails available on the menu. The menu on the website doesn't show this so we thought it was a dry restaurant. This is not the case. We all ordered. About 15 minutes later the server returns to tell two of us we need to pick something else because they are out of biscuits. Why did it take so long to hear this information? She didn't come prepared with menus and we then had to wait for her to bring them. So I was torn between the Farmhouse Skillet and the Monterrey Club sandwich. The sandwich came with the soup of the day. So I asked the server what the soup of the day was and she said "I don't know" and proceeded to stand there and look at me waiting for a response. I went with the Farmhouse and changed my eggs option from fried to scrambled because she said scrambled came with cheese. Because there was such a long delay in two of us hearing we had to reorder of course the other two friends got their food substantially sooner than we did. The server was very inattentive and didn't know answers to almost any question asked of her. When we received the checks my friend says I think I was charged for the cheese for your eggs. I said what do you mean? Not only were the checks mixed up but there was an up-charge of $1.99 for cheese to be added to the eggs even though she said the scrambled eggs came with cheese! My other friend asked if she was allowed to substitute her bacon for sausage and the waitress said sure but when checks came she was charged $2.59 for sausage and when we asked her about these things she said oops sorry you can't do that. I spoke to the manager later and suggested our server get additional training. I also had to ask for a to go box three times before a different server actually brought it. The food was ok but definitely was NOT a $30 breakfast. The cute part were the drinks. They come with the bottles as shown in my pics. This was NOT worth the wait or the drive from Cumming and I wouldn't recommend this place for anything. read more

The odor coming from the host completely ruined my experience. It was a strong, sour laundry smell -- like damp towels that sat too long without drying. It was so pungent that when I first walked in, I thought the entire restaurant smelled that way. But after being seated, I realized the odor was coming directly from the host, and every time he walked past my table, it hit me again. On top of that, my turkey sausage was served cold. This new First Watch location in the Perimeter area has been open for less than a month, and we've been here twice already. It's in the new Perimeter Marketplace shopping center. Parking is currently easy to find, but this may change as more businesses start to open. The restaurant is inviting and open with many windows that allow for lots of natural light. Tables and booths are spaced well and customers will not feel cramped at this location. A bar is at the rear of the restaurant, and a covered outdoor patio lets customers enjoy dining al fresco on the side and behind the restaurant. During both times we've been here, the service has been great and attentive. The food that I've had, the Frittata Rustica and the Avocado Toast, were also excellent and had great presentation. The ingredients, especially the vegetables (lettuce, mushrooms, avocado, etc.) were fresh and delicious. Menu pricing is reasonable and the portions are filling. read more
