This was a rough experience. I ordered a medium burger, but it came out burned. I work in the nearby offices, and this was my first visit--I came in hopeful for a quick, quality meal. Unfortunately, it was neither. The burger had no real flavor beyond a charred, oily taste, and for $20 it just wasn't worth it. Honestly, I wouldn't spend any amount on it. The patty was clearly pre-formed, which didn't inspire much confidence in what I was eating. The person serving me was polite, though they seemed new. They weren't able (or willing) to change the TVs at the time, and the whole service experience felt a little unpolished. Overall, I came in with limited time between meetings hoping for a good, quick break, but I left disappointed. Unless the meal was free, I don't see myself returning. read more

Food- This salad was delicious. The salmon was tempted perfectly medium, it was tender and juicy. The greens were fresh and the veggies were nice and crisp. Service- Lionel was very attentive and knowledgeable. He was able to make suggestions based off of my dietary restrictions which is rare as most restaurant employees don't take the time to listen. Raymond makes a perfect martini and offers great conversation and personality. We will be back! Atmosphere- Clean and relaxing. The decor is modern. The lighting is a little too bright for a dinner setting. A dimmer setting would be great. The high glass windows and view of the pond is also a nice touch! read more

We were staying at the hotel where Savor is located so we had to try our first night plus we wanted some cocktails and they did not disappoint. I had the Perimeter Punch and my cousin had the Georgia Peach Margarita delicious Our appetizer was pimento cheese and crackers yum. we both ordered burgers but I had the Vidalia burger and she had the classic cheeseburger, both with fries. I loved they cooked the burgers to order so I wanted medium and it was perfect. For dessert we both opted for the Ultimate Chocolate Cake. It was good but rich. The buffet was delicious had everything including: pastries, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, grits, potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, fresh fruit, etc. There's also several juices to choose from. This morning was orange and apple juice. They also offer coffee and have Starbucks drinks. While the breakfast is delicious, the prices are atrocious. It was $50 (before tip) for two breakfast meals. Exceeded expectations by far! I had low hopes arriving at my hotel late on a Sunday night with the hotel restaurant my only realistic dining option given the hour and limited options in the immediate business focused area. Boy was I surprised! The drinks were generous and well prepared. The spinach and and quinoa salad with lemon vinaigrette was outstanding and the shrimp and grits was spicy and delicious. This little place is so cute! Perfect for little after work (or during work lunches) meeting and team strategy dinners. Savor is a place near my job with tasty food. I had only been over here a couple of times for work meetings and after work socials a handful of times, but recently I've started to frequent Savor because of their Louisiana Crab Burger. I don't like avocado too much so I get it without that and extra aioli. The toasted bun is amazing but I take the top off because the bread is a lot to handle. I pair is with soup or a salad. I don't like the She Crab soup so much and the salad is pretty big, so I always have quite a bit to share. The decor of the restaurant is nice; pretty modern. Comfortable lounge chairs and little sections for some privacy. My team (8) came for lunch and we didn't feel pushed to the side but we did have plenty of space and privacy which was nice. The waitresses are normally extremely friendly and quick with out orders. I get my lunch to go some time and you can always tell it was freshly made. I'm sure I'll be back, very soon. read more

I expect hotel restaurants to be overpriced with underwhelming food and this place was really no different. It has the vibe you would expect from a restaurant in a high-end hotel, but it does have a nice outdoor seating area that faces a large pond. They have an extensive menu with a lot of options to accommodate all types. I was dining with someone who is vegetarian and she was pleasantly surprised with the amount of options, including tofu dishes. They also have some mexican options as well as the typical American dishes with protein and sides. I just wasn't impressed with the food itself. I ordered the Scallops and the Broccoli and Brussel Sprouts on the side. The four small scallops were rubbery and chewy and not worth the price tag. The broccoli were described as being lemony but somehow tasted completely unseasoned all together. And the brussel sprouts may honestly be some of the worst I've had, they were just so mushy and this like pale green color, the opposite of the crispy texture I look for. The service here is fine, but I find the price for the food to be pretty appalling for the quality. read more

The 5-stars are for the bartenders Violina & Sonar. But I must single out Violina & what she did for me. After a long flight I checked into the Westin and went downstairs to Savor hoping they had fresh juice or a smoothie as I was drained from a day of traveling. Sadly they only had juices for mixed drinks, so I settled for a tasty mojito. That's when Violina surprised me with a few fresh oranges & started peeling them. "I will make you some fresh juice, I can tell you really wanted one." She proceeded to peel then take the oranges into the kitchen only to emerge with the best fresh juice I've ever had. Violina went above and beyond to make me happy. I will be staying at the Westin on my next trip to Atlanta just because of the hospitality I received at Savor. read more

I am staying at the Westin for work and decided to try out this hotel restaurant because I wanted to stay in and relax . First off, the outdoor patio is great but it's more lounge type than actual restaurant seating. There are gorgeous flowers/landscaping with a pretty view of the pond. We sat outside after dinner by a gas rock fireplace on couches! Very cozy! I ordered the shrimp and lobster linguini with a side of the truffle mac & cheese with lobster. Both dishes had a great amount of lobster which really surprised me! I feel like most places don't load up on the lobster meat. I also had the creme brûlée cheesecake which was just okay. I would definitely dine again if I was staying here but not sure I'd go out of my way to come here if I wasn't a Westin guest. read more

I'm conflicted on this review. This restaurant is in the Westin hotel, which is in the same business park of the company I work for. I'm here frequently and always stay in the hotel and it's the only restaurant. The space is a combination bar and restaurant, and the main issue is, it doesn't know which one to be. The bar is in the center and is always full of patrons, and the same waiters and waitresses that man the bar also dually work the open restaurant floor. They seem to have a decent number of wait staff, however the attention the dinner tables get is pretty weak.They are quick to take your order but once the food is delivered you really never see them again until you're done. I have eaten in this restaurant at least 25 times and I can tell you that they have some type of aversion to pouring water at the tables. In fact, unless you specifically ask for water, they never put it on the table. And if you do get a glass, you are very lucky if you get a second. The space is very nice - modern, open and bright. It's also always very active as it is a very popular hotel and has a meeting center, so many companies come and do corporate meetings. The food is also good. The menu is fairly limited but they do have good healthy choices. So the summary is, if it was only a restaurant, or only a bar, I would give it 4 stars. But since it's trapped in the middle I can only give it 3. read more

I ordered an edamame appetizer. It arrived in 10 minutes or so. Well seasoned - nice. I ordered dinner, it has been over an hour sitting at the bar. Glad I have work to do. Still no food. Salmon and Brussels sprout side. Waiting. At about an hour and 20 minutes. - the salmon arrived. Literally, a 6 oz piece of salmon and a cup of Brussels sprouts. Salmon was cooked very well. Nice crust. Sprouts were a bit over grilled and a little salty. See photo- for the price $20 for salmon and another $5 for sprouts, I'm a bit amazed. In view of the delay. The management has paid for my dinner. NICE RESULT!!!! To reiterate - the bar staff was awesome. And now, I was just informed that management is picking up my tab for dinner. Really nice touch. As stated in other reviews, Expect high prices and underwhelming food from a restaurant in a high end hotel. I stayed here on a business trip and decided I didnt want the over priced buffet so I ordered fresh food. eggs and hashbrowns. Im not certain if the cook just walked out to the buffet and grabbed cold food, or if he had a stash of it in the kitchen, but what I received were cold hashbrowns, Bacon that clearly wasnt cooked that day and was also cold, and two eggs beautifully cooked to perfection in what I estimate was approximately 1/2 cup of butter. All of this for a $20 with the OJ. I ended up eating the cold bacon and toast and pushed the inedible eggs and hashbrowns aside. when confronted, the staff apologized, smiled, and walked away. Maybe my expectations are too high, but for $20, when ordering off the menu as opposed to the buffet, is it too much to ask to actually slap some bacon and hashbrowns on the grill, and scramble up some eggs in maybe a dab of butter, or better yet, some cooking oil. The next morning I went to anna's grill next door in the Queens Tower and got basically the same thing minus the butter for $6, at least I saved money and the food was at least reheated on the grill, and the eggs were good. read more

If you're staying at Westin where this restaurant is and finishing an 18 hr work day 1500 miles from home, don't bother with the late night room service. There's nothing close by the hotel so you'll be hungry but better for it. How can you mess up a sub sandwich? Stale bread, minuscule meat, perhaps a hint of a tomato slice somewhere, a single piece of wilted lettuce and cheese melted by flattening it in a panini press. TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS. Includes a bag of Lays potato chips. So I never return food at restaurants for fear of reprisals on what comes out next from an angry cook. But I did this time and asked to exchange it for a club sandwich. Again, how do you mess up a club sandwich EVERY cook makes across the globe?? Well, you take out the club part, turn it into a BLT and slam it flat again in the panini press. And then charge $25 for it with the bag of chips and not even a pickle on the side. Westin is a great hotel chain. But I'd be embarrassed to send this garbage to people's rooms. Especially at 10:00 at night, there's no need to get fancy. Just make an easy club sandwich or a sub and send it the 150 feet down the hall. Simple? On the printed menu, yes. But not beyond those pages. UPDATE: Chef sent a display of cookies, snacks, gourmet water, and a personal note apologizing for the quality and inviting me to the restaurant no charge including cocktail no charge to earn back my trust. To be in one of my favorite hotels ever, the Westin Perimeter, this place seems far out of place. I went to the bar to have a light dinner and a drink. To my right was a couple speaking loudly and clearly drinking. No big deal, but again, things just seemed out of place here. Also, I believe the bartender knew them, or at least was sort of chummy by the amount of time and attention he gave them. I asked to taste some wine and gave him a few choices of what I preferred. He came back with one and it was okay, definitely nothing special. When I got the bill and saw the glass was $17 I almost choked. I definitely should have been told about a glass of wine that expensive. Never mind that. He gave me the wine and I wanted to give my approval of it so I could have a drink in front of me to enjoy while I looked at the menu, but the bartender immediately went to the couple sitting next to me and started an incredibly long conversation about beer they already had in front of them ignoring that I was sitting drink-less. Finally he got my drink and I asked to order. My food came out quickly. Everything I ordered was on the sides menu except the fresh tomato and mozzarella salad and it was the only one that was normal size. It was just okay. I also ordered the mac and cheese and it was bland. It was a HUGE portion size, which is fine, but it seemed too much for one person and I wasn't told that. I also ordered the hummus. Please, whatever you do, do not order this. It was the most atrocious thing I have ever tasted in my life. It came out with some spicy hot sauce poured over the entire thing. I am not sure who told the chef this was a good idea, but it wasn't. I also asked for a refill on my water and the bartender took it, put it on the bar and was the distracted by his friends next to me. i had to ask someone else to fill my water when he walked off. Outside of the really poor service (which startled me, the service at the hotel was above reproach) the food was beyond mediocre and overpriced. I would never eat here again. read more

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is good and other times it's horrible. I've had the granola parfait for breakfast because I prefer it over their buffet but every third time the granola is mushy and the yogurt is crossed between consistency of cream cheese and yogurt which is gross. Tonight I ordered a quesadilla to go and the amount of oil that was dropping from a "grilled" quesadilla was disgusting. I couldn't even stomach it so I had to throw it away. Last time I was here it was really good though. I'd recommend sitting in the restaurant to eat your food so if it comes out bad you can send it back. read more

I've made 3 attempts to eat here; 2 times for breakfast and another for lunch. It is consistently a poor experience. The morning waitstaff is lethargic and simply chitchat around the bar. After my original coffee was poured there was nothing more. Additionally, they continue to encourage you to eat at the buffet making less work for them. You find the buffet items to be mediocre; the bread was stale and I will give them credit for replacing the tray once I notified them. I have spoken with the manager and he assured me that he would address the issue with the morning staff. But if you're wondering why the restaurant seems mostly empty for such a large hotel. This is a Hotel Restaurant and it is very good on both food quality and service considering where its located. I was there for a Dinner with my Husband and we had a very good time. The menu selection was huge and it can accommodate everyone's palate. The restaurant had a lake by the window and it was very romantic. The restaurant was pretty busy and they also had a live band that was performing. My server Violina was excellent, she really took care of us. we had couple appetizers, and I had Shrimp & Grits, My husband has One pound Ribeye, both were great, especially the grits was awesome, We also enjoyed the Bread pudding with ice cream. The Chef came out to see how the food was and Manager also checked on us. Definitely will go back here again may be with a night stay. read more

Just a normal hotel restaurant with not so great service. I ordered a French onion soup and it was completely missing the cheese. Also the roasted sweet potato was not worth $5 extra. It was so small and worth about $3 max. I'm not cheap but if the service is going to be bad, don't open the whole restaurant. My salad was decent and the hot tea selection was great. I was confused why the restaurant menu didn't have the room service menu and more. Bizarre some of the things for room service were missing from the restaurant menu. This was an ok hotel restaurant. The atmosphere was nice. They have a beautiful pond outside the restaurant. We went for breakage and both got the buffet. The eggs were watery and bland, the bacon, sausage, french toast, and fruit was good. The coffee and oj was good. Everything was OK. We left full and it was a nice, relaxing time. Unfortunately, I tried this place twice and both times the service was pretty terrible. The first time, I had to call upon the waiter after being sat there 15 mins each time to get a drink, to get water, to order my food. When my order was being taken the waiter kept trying to walk away from me before I finished my sentence. Then when my food came I had to try and flag down any waiter to get condiments (I ordered fries - so not an usual thing to offer condiments for...) The waiters spent more time looking at the tills then anything else. The second time was worse - again, I ordered fries as a side ... when my food came, no fries came and I said this to the man who brought my food. I was told that I was wrong... I then told a different server and he helped. Then I sat there with an empty plate for 20 mins until one of the waiters needed the extra cutlery from my table. My face must have said it all as when he looked at me he offered to take my plate away. Overall - the one star is for the waiter who actually helped me. It is a great space filled with natural light and has a pretty view of the pond. The bar is big enough to hold large groups from the meeting rooms and the restaurant tables are comfortable and roomie. You can sit outside and enjoy drinks, too. My server, Kendrick, was warm and professional. The managers visited tables and completed the well trained staff. I started with the wedge salad. It is big and a good shareable item. It lacked bacon, but they brought me some warm crumbles and it was perfect. I also enjoyed the muscle skillet. Every shell was filled with a plump muscle. I liked the presentation in the skillet. I didn't care for the apple pie. It should have been warm and it was overly sweet. I would definitely eat here again, if I stay at the Westin. read more
