Well we were off to an awful start from go. I checked in online and was told it was a 20-30 min wait that turned into an hour an a half. Users be warned the online check in clearly means nothing. When we got here 10 min later, I walked up to the gent w the iPad and was told we had to wait our turn to check where we were in line. Then we observed another group walk in and ask if they could check their place and he checks for them, then seats them in the middle of an area that could have sat a larger party. Meanwhile the girl was still futzing w a couple who had checked in to the wrong location and the line was now about 10 deep. We were finally told 20 min - again. Over an hour later I get the text and the gent tells the girl to seat us. As she's walking another group walks past us and tries to take our table and the hostess starts to giggle and says oops there are two "Diane's what are the odds?" It was very unprofessional especially since she acknowledged me at the hostess stand and then started to seat the other group anyway. I felt bad for the girl because she clearly had no idea how to run the front of a house. That said, once we sat down my husband wanted a screwdriver (OJ and vodka) the girl said "Even tho we have OJ and Vodka we aren't allowed to make that because it's not on our drink menu." What?! That seems crazy. We move on and order. My daughter ordered biscuits and gravy w sunny side up eggs that came with hard egg yolks, my husband ordered a roast beef melt that had hardly any meat on it and one guest ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes which described the ricotta mixed into the batter, but came piled on top of the pancakes. Net, net we ate the food, enjoyed each other's company and left. We will never come back. The presentation of the food wasn't even worth taking pictures. read more

This is one of my favorite breakfast places that I've missed so much during coronavirus. They have a salmon frittata that is so good. Their daily muffins are also delicious, and you can't go wrong with a breakfast sandwich. I especially like their fresh juices as well. read more

Great food, intolerable wait...showed up for Sunday brunch, understandable that things are busy. Quoted 30-45 min for a table for 4, were seated an hour later. Waited another 40 min for food after ordering. Got the burrito, veggie sandwich, yogurt bowl, and kids French Toast....again: really good food. Nice wait staff...too long to eat, yo. I have had many great experiences with First Watch. This time was the worst one I've ever had. First of all the service was terrible and it took almost 40 minutes for us to get our food. I was already mad about that and then I get my food and the portions are extremely small. I ordered one of the new barbacoa quesadillas which came with only two and they had no cheese and were barely even filling for me. I expect to get my moneys worth when I eat somewhere and get a hefty amount that I feel satisfied with. My pancakes were burnt and un appetizing which was one of the items I was excited for. I don't write reviews at all but I just had to this time. I hope management see's this and does something about it or else business is not going to look to good in the future read more

The owner needs to be ashamed and know this place is not going to last with the current staff in place. First, there is no excuse for the manager on duty the morning of 6/26 9:59am to use the F word when a customer is actually trying to apologize and explain a situation regarding one of her staff members. A staff member was triggered by me waiting inside the store waiting to pick up my food. I walked into the store looking for my order since it said it would be ready at 9:54. I walked in at 9:56 and didn't see it on the table. I could see into the kitchen that someone was packing a togo order so I waited an additional 20 secs. He came walking up with two bags and a drink carrier, so I asked if it was my order. He rudely said I needed to wait outside. Through my mask I apologized and said I didn't read the sign. I tired to explain that I was only in the completely empty restaurant for 30-45 secs but he didn't want to hear it. He promptly told me to wait outside next time and refused to listen to me. He's tone was rude and condescending, but he didn't even want to hear me. After I went out to my car to leave with my food, I noticed the same gentlemen leaning in, mask around his neck to speak/take an order from a couple seated on the patio. So, what's his problem with me being in the restaurant for 30-45 secs to check on my order with my mask on when he speaks to people within 2 feet without a mask? I would love an explanation for the attitude. I tired to apologize for being wrong not once but twice. I would have gotten out my car to say something but I was fuming and it more than likely wouldn't have been words being exchanged. So, I left and drove home to call and asked to speak to the manager. Once she got on the phone I started to apologize for not seeing their small sign for pickup instructions. When I began to mention how I was treated, she refused to let me speak and kept trying to interrupt me. After a few back and forth of her not wanting to listen to me by trying to speak o we me and having to repeat myself, I raised my voice, maybe I yelled, I'm not sure at this point because I was getting furious trying to speak to a manger. She too must have had the same cup of attitude as her staff member because she said, "don't you f!&$ing yell at me!" And hung-up on me! If I were to speak to my customers, business partners or stakeholders in this manner, I'm certain I'd lose my job. This probably isn't the first nor the last time she's lost control. Is this the leadership the staff has to follow? If so, I will not support this establishment. I messed up and wanted to apologize. I also wanted to address my concern that a staff member had an issue with me being in the restaurant with a mask on for 30-45 seconds looking for my pick up order while the same individual proceeded to speak to customers less than 2ft away without a mask on. I should've taken a photo but unlike these individuals, I have a higher emotional intelligence awareness and didn't want the situation to escalate. Maybe it was because they had a bad morning but don't curse at me and hang up. You need customers more than they need you. Also there's plenty of other establishments who have been around longer, serve quality food and provide professional/friendly service with respect. Thanks for making me regret spending the time getting breakfast for my wife and I. The food was good but the manager makes me want to vomit. read more

Not automatically split, computer miscalculated tips, totals , etc. Management said they knew there was a problem, 'attempt, to tell all credit card users, & split tabs. First Watch food is very bland & gives ihop atmosphere. If you enjoy tasteless food then this is definitely the place for you.

You can't order over the phone for to go only online so if it's not working you won't be able to order take out. You can't call and order over the phone either no one will answer and when the automated message answer it says you have to order online. Super impressed with the atmosphere and quality of food. Decided to check the place out as my girlfriend was famished and needed food immediately- this was the only brunch spot around without a wait. We were pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the Blue Booster, which was fantastic. For food she got the Vanilla Chai Latte Pancakes and I got the Quinoa Power Bowl and Million Dollar Bacon. All three dishes were incredible. Her pancakes were cooked perfectly and the fruit was fresh. The quinoa and kale in my meal was delicious and complimented with the sausage and mushrooms was a perfect pairing. The portions were filling (I'm 6'4", 275lbs) which was another pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was great, it was busy but we were able to have a conversation without feeling like we were yelling. And the Million Dollar Bacon- I never thought anyone would come close to Bacon Social House for how bacon should taste, but First Watch killed it! Will definitely be back again! read more

I was looking forward to try this place for a long time and my experience was not so well. The bus boys did a great job but The waiting staff seems unprepared or unorganized. We did get our food at a decent time however we did not get our whole order. I ask for some pepper, and I did not receive that at all but no problem. The main thing was One of my kids did not receive their water or food at all. Three of us receive our food and the waitress said that she would be back with the rest. 30 minutes later, We end up just sharing but the whole point of eating out was for us to not cook at home. SLOW!!!! It took an hour to get seated, 10 minutes for a server, and 20 minutes for food... with 12 empty tables! Noisy... the speakers are in a metal ceiling so all you hear is cacophony. Skip the "million dollar bacon".... it's just bacon with syrup poured over it and cracked pepper. And it is NOT the bacon that comes with meals.. that is just ordinary every day bacon. They served my toast completely dry and when I asked for butter tget gave it to me, but said it's their "policy" to serve bacon with jam but no butter! They offered gluten free toast... but their toaster isn't gluten free... I mean come on, you could buy a gf toaster for 20$! Extremely disappointing. read more

It's great to see quality breakfast places opening along the Havana Corredor in west Aurora! The restaurant has a great modern farmhouse vibe. My husband and I both had yummy omelettes. Mine with salad, his with potatoes. Pototes are the perfect cottage fries. I had one pumpkin pancake instead of toast. The pumpkin flavor was delicate and perfectly spiced. I will try the maple syrup on it next time. He had the artisan toast. It was thick and chewy as it should be. And the flight of bacon with syrup was spot on delish! We will be back. The Wifey and I always enjoy this place! Our go to are the Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos. The coffee is good, pancakes and french toast are good if cooked perfectly and not over cooked, can be a little inconsistent. The seasonal cinnamon roll made my eyes roll behind my head, delicious! Food was good but the music was loud. I asked if it could be turned down before we were even seated. We were taking our 94-yr-old Mother-in-law for brunch. Was told that the music had to stay at that level, per corporate. Asked our server and she said she had no control over it. Conversation was very much affected. Stupid policy. I always order from here and they never disappoint, but today when I placed an online order I set it up for ASAP pick up (20min). When I arrived it wasn't ready I waited for about an hour. I asked for the status since I've been waiting for a while they kept saying soon. I asked for a refund they said I will need to fill out a form and it will take about a week to process which is not fair . The frustrating part was there were people that came after me and they got there food. I don't recommend ordering online your better off dining if your gonna wait an hour for to-go. If they knew that they were busy and the wait time was going to be long they should have updated the app. read more

Girlfriends brunch here and we enjoyed the food but not as much their concept. It was nice to check-in online which was helpful but having to take your bill and pay at the front wasn't very personable. Our service was friendly but not as attentive as we would have liked. We wanted more drinks but we had to flag down someone each time. I ordered my poached egg over easy and specifically said, "I want the yoke running, no firmness". It came out firm. The taste was average, but the dressing on the greens (side dish) was quite tasty. I have had far better Eggs Benedict elsewhere. Their benedict is served on a toasted ciabatta bread which was very hard and dry. The eggs looked so small and it made me wonder if they you medium or small size eggs.
