I came here with a friend this morning. We were told the wait would be 15-20 mins but wasn't nearly that long. Nathan was our server and he was awesome!! Really sweet and did a great job. I got an iced coffee and asked for almond milk but unfortunately they were out and all they had was oat milk. Not ideal for this low carb gal, but I just had a little and wasn't the end of the world. What was nice was he brought it out just in case it was ok instead of making me wait. I got the FRITTATA RUSTICA which is an omelette with kale, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions and tomatoes topped with Mozzarella and Parmesan. Served with ciabatta toast and lemon-dressed organic mixed greens. I subbed out the toast for some fruit and it was good! The ambiance was busy and loud but not terribly so (and to be expected for a Sunday morning). A great experience and I would return.

Been over a year since our last visit; food went back up a notch; tried the lemon ricotta pancakes again and they were finally back to original excellence, moist and yet light, delicious and generous custard, a real treat. Wife reports that the poached eggs were done correctly! Everyone was very pleasant and the service was surprisingly m, even astonishingly, fast!!! Would've gone back up to 5 stars but the table and booth seat both still had scraps of food on them from the prior customers- that's NOT a good wipe down. Other than that, it was very much worth the revisit.

We both ordered the Double Bacon Parmesan Hash and it was so delicious and satisfying that we returned the very next day to order the same dish again! Service was great both days too. I wish they would consider adding the Double Bacon Parmesan Hash to their regular menu.

My mother likes this place so we stopped in for lunch the other day. The dining room is spacious, clean, and has a farmhouse vibe going on. First Watch serves breakfast all day until closing in the afternoon. They also have a lunch menu. I ordered the Turkey club sandwich. Although it was good, there wasn't anything out of the ordinary that made it stand apart from other clubs that I've had. The bread was a little too soft- almost soggy in places. It certainly wasn't strong enough to hold the contents of the sandwich together. It ended up being a messy, but satisfying club sandwich. Oh and the coffee was good. Would I come back again? Yes- but probably will stick with breakfast fare next time around.

Our Yelp challenge in 2022 is to try as many local diners in south Florida as we can...and to find the best one! Location #1 - First Watch, Boca Raton (near 441 & Glades) Located in Mission Bay Plaza, this First Watch is part of a chain of diners that has locations from Jupiter all the way down to Miami. We stopped in for breakfast last Saturday. There was a good amount of parking available out front. Upon entry we were seated right away. The staff was pleasant and friendly and very hard working. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. They went with the modern country type vibe which is fresh and appealing. Lots of wood, string lights hanging off the beams, sliding barn door by the bathrooms, chalkboard with specials, etc. The noise level was very strong, almost a bit too strong if you're looking to have a conversation. As for food I went with the Morning Market omelette which came with roasted zucchini, Crimini mushrooms, shallots, kale, tomatoes and goat cheese. I also got a side of home fries and a side of "dressed greens" . My wife got the veggie burger with a vegetable soup and my kid got the grilled cheese and home fries. The food was not good at all. My omelette was not hot (more like a bit below room temperature) and while the filling was flavorful, it was colder than the eggs. There was also not enough of it inside. My dressed greens were basically 99% spinach with 1 or 2 arugula and raddichio leaves, with a layer of flavorless oil. It would have been nice if there was vinegar or citrus or something sharp and astringent to cut through all of the oil. Some seasoning would have been nice as well. My wife hated her meal. She said the veggie burger has a slimy exterior and was overly salty. And her soup was very poorly seasoned, lacked flavor (even salt) and seemed like it came out of a can. She took one bite of each item and then decided to not eat the rest. As for my kids grilled cheese, it was about as basic and poorly made of a grilled cheese as you can get. The bread wasn't crispy at all and the cheese was barely melted, so it was like a lukewarm cheese sandwich on white bread. Blech. Overall, we left quite disappointed. While there were some upsides, like the well done decor and competent wait staff, the food was irredeemably bad. Summary: Food (1/5) - Embarrassingly bad. I almost can't believe that a professional kitchen put out this dreck. It was (bad) school lunch quality. Atmosphere (4/5) - Nice comfortable dining room, a pleasant space for sure. Noise level got to be a bit shrill unfortunately as it was crowded. Service (4/5) - The wait staff was very nice to interact with and did a great job overall. Value (1/5) - The pricing was a bit on the high side, but considering the food was so poor I think it's a bad value at any price. Overall (1/5) - According to my grading profile, First Watch should be 2.5 stars. However, I feel that 1 is more appropriate, given just how awful our food was. If you can't make a grilled cheese or serve a hot omelette in your diner, you don't deserve any stars, frankly. 2022 Diner Challenge Rankings: 1. First Watch, Boca Raton (First review so they are in first right now, but they will likely be cellar dwellers going forward).

My friends and I decided to come here for breakfast. It was over a year since we saw each other so there was a lot to catch up on. They had indoor seating and it was crowded. Masks were not required. We were seated right away. The waitress, Kaitlyn was very nice but she was busy and not very attentive. We ordered coffee and she forgot a few mugs so it was a while until she came back and we had to ask for a few more. The menu has plenty of options. Healthy choices like steel-cut oatmeal with fruit, a yogurt bowl, and of course the classics: eggs benedict and pancakes and omelets to name a few. Avocado toast: Thick-cut whole-grain toast topped with fresh avocado, and 2 eggs. You can also substitute egg whites for a healthier choice. Tri-Athlete: Egg white omelet with house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and green chilies. Served with pico de gallo, thick whole-grain toast, homemade house preserves, and fresh fruit. Pancakes: I had the 2 whole-grain pancakes. They were fluffy and delish. The menu said they were big but they were huge and enough for 2 or 3. I was starving and could only eat half!!! This is a great place for breakfast. I loved the food. The service was just OK. Our server never came back after they delivered our food and it would have been nice to get a little more coffee. We ran out of creamer and it was never refilled. We weren't too disappointed, because with 7 of us, we had a lot to catch up on and we were there for over 2 hours. I'm sure the server saw a table of women and figured she wouldn't get a tip, but we took care of her with over 30% and not only did we eat but we ordered food to go too and the total bill was close to $200!!! So never assume! I love how they give the calorie count and nutrition on the menu. The food is good and they are all over the area. This one is in Mission Bay on the side after Fresh Market, facing 44, near Tijuana Flats. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot. Get there early, because as we were leaving there was a huge line.

Honestly I order here to go a lot for work but last few times now every time I order the bacado they give you BAD avocados! Like it's disgusting to see this when you open up your food. This has happen multiple times but when your order in the restaurant sitting down it's fine. If you're giving to go customers the bad food to see when you get home that's just wrong! On top they almost always forget to give the salsa it comes with and jelly for bread. Honestly don't order to go from this place! Other locations are much better

Bro the stupidity of how DELICIOUS this pancake was makes me think of one thing: How good are their waffles!? Lmaooo Regardless I shall know next time I do Chest & Legs at the gym... of course with sugar free syrup, gotta limit those carb numbers bruh. If the waffles are champ then everywhere else can Kiss The Game Goodbye like Jadakiss. Because when push comes to shove, we all know they gonna fall.

They are a pretty basic breakfast joint but the food isnt bad. Portions are kind small though. You can pretty much order all these breakfast food at ihop and a basic bagel place. Service was okay, as i had to keep asking for ketchup and nobody was bringing it to me. Would go back but I wouldnt recommend to anyone out of town.

Another great visit today with my son to First Watch. Since he is determined to eat healthy, we like going to this venue. We both ordered breakfast. His was the Super Bowl and mine the Trifecta. The Super Bowl was basically a bowl with fruit and granola, served with toast that was smeared with peanut butter. The Trifecta consisted of two eggs, two sausage and a pancake. You could choose how you wanted your eggs, chicken patty, sausage or bacon and pancake. Although my food arrived cold, the pancake and sausages were truly delicious. We both ordered coffee. My son asked for a non dairy creamer without preservatives or chemicals. They said they only had the half and half or soy creamers on the table that all have chemical preservatives. So much for it being a healthy restaurant, lol. My take on First Watch: Good service Clean Restaurant Interesting Menu Choices Above average in price

Wait service was excellent! I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, it went beyond my expectations. The crab cakes were cooked to perfection, melted in my mouth. The egg Benedict's were picture perfect and cooked to perfection. I topped my meal off with the morning meditation drink.

This is exactly how their 7 bite scrambled egg special was presented to me other than moving to the side the ketchup and jelly.

First Watch is to me Americana. Kind of reminds me of Bob's Big Boys Hamburger, Steak N Ale, Bennigans, Beefsteak Charlie's and still existing chains like Taco Bell, Olive Garden, Macaroni Grill and the great Outback Steakhouse except that it's specialty is breakfast (or brunch). Today I had a delicious meal of their "7 bite" scrambled eggs special, potatos and a toasted English muffin. Take a look at the photo - I was generous in naming it the "7 bite scrambled egg special". Much like the famous Wendy's commercial "Where's the Beef" I would have been embarrassed bringing out the 7 bite special to a diner. And ...as a bonus the hardened toasted around the rims English muffin could have rendered an unhelmeted hockey player with a concussion if hit with them. Others with me had other issues. I was going to give them a generous 2 stars but since they were so "ungenerous" with their food I've elected to put myself in the same frame of mind and give them 1 star. Obviously I as did my two other diners left hungry.

The restaurant has a nice cozy feeling atmosphere. Great service with healthy options and vegan options too. I went with my best friend and he had ordered a juice refresher while I had the cold brew coffee, it tasted like it was watered down a bit though. I got the Tri athlete egg white omelette, solid food if you want something on the lighter side. The menu has the calorie count too and you can also find it in most calorie count apps. Solid choice, I'll definitely come back for more. read more

Our order came out and was wrong. The server argued the the other soup was tomato based so what's the difference. Food was ok but ate it. When I went to pay this same person rudely ignored me, did not thank me at all. On leaving she quipped sarcastically to have a nice day, and I saw her turn to four other girls sitting behind the cash register and laugh. If you want this restaurant then go to St. Andrews out by town center mall - they are excellent. This branch needs a manager who can actually do the job. read more

Terrible service the blondie upfront is about as friendly As a cobra. The waitress acts like she is annoyed went to all the location 3 times pancakes are terrible. This is my spot, I'll never say a bad word. Food is healthy, menu is unique, and portions are filling. They use extremely high quality ingredients, and are in tune with the latest health trends with the ingredients they promote (quinoa, Chia seeds, turmeric). Have been a faithful First Watch devotee since 2013. This location is consistently their worst location. Never complain to management but after my last omelette there I had to. Handled well by manager- given brunch bucks to enjoy another meal & give it another go. Ordered lox bagel & hash skillet. Both were sparse with ingredients-lox given was in tiny pieces that barely weighed 1 oz. (probably the cuts they use for omelette) but they gave about 3 oz. Of lettuce to cover up sparse amount of lox given. Hash skillet lacked any type of flavor & ingredients were oddly sparse. Did not complain again but instead will never return to this location. Waste of money, calories & time. read more

Went on a Saturday for breakfast. Got there at 11:00. There was no wait, so we thought that was a good sign. Ordered eggs, two different ways. We waited almost a half hour to get them. One order was overcooked and dry and the other was undercooked and gooey. Gross. Never again. read more

I USED to love First Watch, which is why I feel entitled to give it two stars. Before this location, there wasn't really one in the area so it was always a treat to be able to stop at one for breakfast. Unfortunately, my most recent time here, will probably be my last. I came with a group of friends for a nice Saturday breakfast/brunch. I ordered the turkey sausage and gravy, which was tasty, except my eggs to go with it were so over cooked you could've made five batches of scrambled eggs by the time mine were finished. My friend across from me ordered a bacon and cheese omelette which she was enjoying until she found a hair in it. We kindly sent it back and probably waited 15min before she got her next one. By this time, they made her a completely different omelette, with avocado in it which she is allergic to. We pointed it out to the waitress, who didn't give us any response but instead took the plate away and just told the cashier not to charge us for it. So, instead of offering to make another one, or making her something to go since we didn't have to wait again, she left the restaurant hungry, without the opportunity to even eat breakfast. I rarely have a problem with screw ups, because mistakes happen, but atleast have the decency to be apologetic and offer every opportunity you can to make us leave happy. Instead, we were treated rudely, and were treated like it was our fault she was allergic to avocado. I still like First Watch, but will not be back at this certain location. Edit: The management was very accommodating and thoughtful. Any problems you have, bring it up! They'll do their best. read more

My fiancé and I love first watches. We go locally and out of town. Also this is the closest one to where we live. That being said. This is a big second strike. Been good when at restaurant. 2 times takeout first time order 1 hour early since I expected them to be busy. Got there and they were. Waited quietly 30 mins after the original promised time. People being sat and served in reasonable time. Checked in and was told should be just a few mins. Waited 10 more this happened 3 times. So I asked for manager and was told was not available. Waited 10 more mins so that is 2:10 since I ordered and got a e-mail that my order was cancelled. Needless to say I was very upset and left with no food. A few month go by we try again today hoping it was a 1 time thing. Got there slightly early and let them know my name and that my order was due in 5 mins. Received my order 20 mins late. Which was an improvement over the 2 hours with no food but the quality of the food was absolutely not worth the wait. I got home in 10 mins. The eggs my fiancé ordered over med must have bounced from the pan to the to go container because they were barely cooked past raw extremely runny. They advertise multiple tortillas they included 1 that was almost a hard taco shell could have use to pound a nail in. Almost no meat in either one of our meals. We have no interest in a strike 3 at this location. Hopefully at some point they can do better. read more

FRESH FOOD FINALLY! I love this place! Its like going to your grandmas house for breakfast. It has a very homey feel to it and the staff is really nice! Wait time usually isn't bad at all, especially on weekends when everyone does the brunch thing, there turn over rate is decent. I end up here at least once a month. First of Coffee- Hot coffee is great its a great cup of joe. Iced coffee ehhh not so great, its really thick its almost like pre-made or from a carton. Fruit - Fresh and ripe! Breakfast - BELGIAN wafflesssss! OMG there perfect, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Not to sweet just perfect. Eggs are fresh and tasty. The bacon is very thick, its not my favorite kinda of bacon but its bacon none the less. read more

I'm not a diehard vegetarian or vegan. I just Love eating Good healthy food. It doesn't have to be fancy smancy, just Good healthy food! Here it is! Pretty healthy food, and good tastes! I have a conundrum in giving a rating. The friends I was with love the restaurant and although there were just a few things on the menu I could eat (I'm lactose intolerant), the chicken salad I had was delicious. BUT, and here's my problem, the ladies room was filthy, (I mean dirty, not messy) and the silverware was not clean. The waitress was nice and attentive. So 2 stars for the food, 1 for the waitress. read more

It is official. This location is finally up to par. It appears that there was a complete overhaul in management and staff and the service issues that plagued it seem to be an issue of the past. Service is timely, accurately and with a smile. The food is also up to par with other locations and as you would expect from other First Watch locations. Now worth coming. Just make sure to get here before 10am on a Sunday if you want to avoid waiting in line. read more

Never fails to please! Breakfast or lunch, it's always terrific. I wish they were open for dinner...even without a "dinner menu" as I'm sure I'm not the only one in Boca who would enjoy their amazing pancakes (LOVE the carrot) and wraps for supper. One teeny wish- that they would serve REAL maple syrup for free if you ask. Adding a $1 for a teeny bottle is kind of cheesy. Our family brings our own now. Not paying $5 for Vermont syrup! Otherwise great food. Particularly amazing since it's a chain. read more

I popped in here for a late breakfast yesterday. Being at the one in Wellington, I knew the place wasn't going to fail to impressed. They offer complimentary coffee (um...YEA!) to the ones that want to get their caffeine fix on. I went for the two fresh fruit crepes wrapped around bananas, strawberries, and apples topped with a low-fat organic strawberry yogurt. It even came with a lemon poppyseed muffin and a small side of the homemade granola. My son and I really enjoyed it without the guilt ;) The service was friendly and the place is clean. read more

First Watch... LAST RESORT! Are there any servers in this place or are you supposed to manifest coffee and breakfast to appear before you through your imagination? My girlfriend and I came into an empty restaurant and waited for almost ten minutes before we left without being greeted. This is completely unprofessional and displays the type of business ran here. Today was an awful experience when I sat down it took literally 20 minutes before a waitress approached, so disappointing. The hostess took our order and never did we have a consistent waiter/ waitress. The food took awhile and the order was wrong. First Watch... First to love and last to leave. I went here with my friends while I was on spring break for brunch. It was a weekday, so it wasn't too busy. I love the open concept dining area with smaller partitions; it gives it a family friendly feel. Their specials are written on a chalkboard which is a nice touch. I ordered the avocado toast special. It consisted of just whole grain toast, avocado, and 2 eggs (my choice). In retrospect, the meal is quite simple and almost anyone could've made it. First Watch takes it to a culinary level, serving it on a white plate with simple garnishes. The bread was thick and able to soak up the yolk from the eggs. They added spices to the avocado to give it more flavor and complement the toast and eggs. In addition, I ordered the homemade grapefruit juice, which was purely refreshing. It was tart, but that's what a good grapefruit should be (sans sugar). The price may be a bit too much for some, but I think it is worth it for the service and the quality. read more

Usually eat at the First Watch in Wellington which is excellent but was in the Boca area so figured it would be the same but it is definitely not. The service is absolutely terrible the people have attitudes and they are not accommodating to food allergies or other issues. I would not recommend this place to anybody. I am updating my review after trying a few new things. The banana granola pancakes are great! Especially if you order them with the topping that comes with the Floridian French Toast. The open faced chicken salad sandwich is awesome! I order it with no cheese and it comes with soup or salad. I tried the Italian wedding soup that was their special of the day and it was fantastic!!! Very tasty! Also, the cranberry, banana, nut oatmeal is really good, and it comes with an english muffin. Service is very fast too! Ok, time to update our review. We came in twice more and both are visits were great! Service was really fast and attentive, food was fresh and delicious and overall, our experience was great. Definitely one of our new favorite spots for a healthy breakfast. I would give 5 stars if they would have potatoes without onions. They can substitute it with grits etc., but those substitutions doesn't go that well with meals like eggs benedict. read more

I consistently enjoy the experience at their St Andrews location. This was the first time I tried the St Rd 441 location, as it's closer to my home - I'll never go back. Walked in (no wait at 930am on a Sunday AM) & noticed their decor - their flooring detracts from their setting. Brown with brown 'smears' here & there is not attractive - how can they tell if the floor is dirty or not? Told the waiter, Dan on 3 separate times I'd like milk for my coffee. Asked another waiter who said he would ask Dan to bring it. Finally, as my coffee was getting cold, I got up to ask the host for it - he looked clueless - didn't seem to know what to do. A couple of minutes later Dan brought it (shouldn't he had apologized? I work in customer service & know about apologizing to customers). The wait for the food was long - we saw customers who came in after us get their food. Their food was excellent. The quality is there but their customer service is lacking. So we waited some more and then after a long while, we just gave up. When my wife told him we were leaving he said something along the lines of "hey don't blame me!" OK I will blame myself for the cardinal sin of trying to spend $200 at your restaurant. But that's finished, I promise. (He offered to have a few more shrimp cooked up but the meal was done at that point). $32 was a lot to pay for mediocre pasta and breading with shrimp. On the fair side, when asked about the shrimp parmigiana vs another dish, the server said that she would recommend the shrimp because there would be more to take home after - which was not our goal for dinner. For my meal I would give it no more than 2 stars but my companions enjoyed theirs more (despite the "so so" spaghetti), so I upped to 3. Will not be eating here again.

The other table is getting rowdy and annoyed not seeing him either now. I see that table out of the corner of my eye getting annoyed with him. They're ready to go, as are we. We finally get the check and they charged us $4.50 for the bread. Confused I asked about that mistake. He then told us he sent his manager over to talk to us (you did?) and he'll send him over again. So now we just want to leave but are waiting for the manager. The man who delivered the bread comes over. Tells me it depends how thick it is. Sometimes it's 3 sometimes it's 4 pieces (referring to the individual halves of bread) that's why we were charged for a side of bread. He then tells me the server must not have understood. I was very clear and asked for a half a piece- letting him know we always order this. I didn't ask for 2 slices with butter- which they brought. The manager offers to knock a few bucks off but it's made in house so that's all he'll do. I'm not really happy I didn't want all that, I didn't order it and really if your server misunderstood why am I being charged? (Plus we're already frustrated waiting there, we've been ready to go for a while at this point) Meanwhile the table next to us gets up to talk to the manager who's busy "fixing" our check as they also just want to leave. They're clearly frustrated as well. Then the server comes by and asks us if everything was solved. Not really but sort of. I hear him go to the manager behind us ... and the manager says "I'm going to charge them something for it" Someone else from that other table comes over to complain to us about how this place is going downhill. They also used to really like it there- but now they're spending their whole afternoon in there. We have a lovely chat about how frustrating this experience has been before the server comes back with our revised check. So I went from coming here at least once a month (literally my open table shows me coming here 3 times since the middle of March) but I will not be returning anytime soon and I have a feeling neither will that other party (Also on their menu on their website the bread is only $4.25 so we were overcharged no matter how you look at it. But you won you charged us something!)

I have dined at their Boca and Winter Park locations before. In July 2022, they were purchased by the Denny's Corporation, but Keke's continues to operate separately from Denny's. According to their website, "Keke's Breakfast Cafe is dedicated to providing an outstanding breakfast; a meal where everything is handmade, using the best ingredients available, with fresh fruits and vegetables delivered daily, and using the highest quality bread and dairy products." They pride themselves on service, cleanliness, and quality, and that is what keeps bringing me back. This Keke's location is really bright and colorful. I love the pastel color scheme and Florida-centric theme. The Parkland mural is an especially nice touch. They have a large dining room and a few seats on the patio out back overlooking the waterway. Sierra was my server, and she was so sweet and attentive. I started off with some much needed coffee, which is great here. Bad coffee is a pet peeve of mine. Keke's has the sort of indulgent breakfast menu I love, with stuffed French toast and fruit-topped waffles and pancakes. If you are not into sweet, dessert like breakfasts, they also have a savory lunch menu with sandwiches, salads, and wraps. The entire menu makes my mouth water, especially the decadent stuffed French toast options. I ended up choosing the cinnamon apple French toast and made it a combo with home fries and bacon. Everything was perfection, but my eyes were bigger than my stomach, and I ended up needing a take-home box. While I was dining, Sierra kept the coffee flowing and checked in often. If you are looking for both great food and great service, give Keke's a try. I am so glad to have a location closer to home.

But I'm weak when it comes to spicy food so don't base the spice level off me. On Mondays, they do five dollars off burgers, so the Boyfriend got the big smash and loved it. This was my first time at a first watch and boy was I impressed! There was a very efficient wait system, much shorter than expected based on the activity of the restaurant. But we were seated quickly. I ordered a "Chickenita" and a Banana Crunch Pancake. First off the Pancakes are HUGE! Big and fluffy! Filled the whole plate. Tasted great served with realmaple syrup. Had some nuts in there that was a great touch. The "Chickenkta" was Chicken and fresh veggies like tomatoes and jalepenos in a fajita with cheese drizzled on top, it was so so good I couldn't stop myself from eating till it was done, Soo good!! So worth it. I also ordered a drink, one of their summer specials I think it was the summer kiss? Sooooo much flavour loved it, my only complaint is I thought it could be a bit more than 8 ounces . But would very much go again and recommend anyone else to do so read more
