The atmosphere at First Watch is lovely. I had a very nice lunch there with girlfriends and I had a fun breakfast there with some cousins. Both times service was very good! The quality of the food was fine and the prices are very reasonable. Personally I found the menu limiting and they didn't seem willing to have substitutions. For example - they have an iced coffee on the menu but it's a specialty drink and they won't give you a regular, plain, iced coffee - - really? Why not? It couldn't be easier to make. They won't make an egg white omelet - etc. Overall I had a nice time and if friends want to go there, I'd probably go with them but I doubt I'll ever choose to go there. Just not for me. read more

I have been there many times. This one has always been the best-run restaurant with the best food. My last experience was the worst. The food as always was excellent. We dined outside where it was quieter. I never imagined we would be forgotten out there. My food was perfect. The problem was the service. We couldn't get the servers to bring the syrup for my pancakes; didn't get milk for my coffee. Three different people were waiting on us and between them, they couldn't remember to bring anything to our table. We asked all three for the same items and we received nothing. It was very frustrating, especially when the meal was excellent. The funny thing was it wasn't all that busy. Either the staff needs to be trained or you need to hire more help. read more

Really cute interior and ambiance. It was smaller than I thought. Service was really good despite it being a busy time. The price was cheaper than I thought for a typical brunch place which I really liked at less than $15 for most dishes. The biscuits and gravy were good, a little to peppery for my taste. Yay a new First Watch opened up right near my home. I love a good breakfast and love the concept of First Watch over the years that they have some good healthy options. My husband and I went at around 7AM and we were the first customers of the day, which was very nice. The tables are spaced out plus employees are following CDC guidelines etc related to covid. We ordered tri-fecta and market hash dishes. Both were good and we enjoyed them. Was able to modify the tri-frecta with the home fries instead of sausage or bacon side. The tri-fecta as the name has three things : eggs cooked any style, pancake or waffle and a side of protein or you can change that . We have been fans since we were part of the soft opening, July 2020. The staff at this location is always nice, and they recognize us upon entry, We love that First Watch always changes up the menu seasonally, makes it fun to try new dishes and drinks. I also like that they added outdoor benches when the wait gets a little long. We dine in and get takeout here a lot. Food is always fresh and cooked to order. Servers are friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. Never have to wait too long for pickup. Tables can be hard to find around weekend brunch, but that is completely normal. Call ahead, people!!! read more

The First Watch of Boynton Beach is another restaurant that opened during the pandemic. Being a breakfast spot this was one of our first dine in spots during the pandemic. We went early when they opened at 7am but soon enough customers trickled in and the restaurant was full of people. The tables are setup with social distancing and all employees are wearing masks for your protection. The food is amazing as usual and they have plenty of options on the menu that you can choose from. Walked in to a line of several people waiting to be sat. It was a little busy but nothing crazy. The hostess was busy, cashing people out and seating guests. Some help for her would have been good. We sat and about 5 minutes later a server came and took our order. Not very friendly at all. We both ordered the same breakfast which came out ice cold. My bacon was inedible so I sent it back to be crispy which id originally asked for. 2 strips came back the same (cold and undercooked) and 2 were really cooked and hot. I had to flag the server to come over to take my bacon back, as she never came to check if everything was ok. Atmosphere is very corporate chainy w stock photos and pieces on the walls. I am a huge First Watch Fan usually. It's my go to place for lunch, anywhere I am. The west Boynton Beach Florida location provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a First Watch Restaurant!! They took a half hour to bring water over to the table! This is not the First Watch way. When our food finally came out, it was cold and took another 15 minutes to get it back. Unacceptable! I would like to talk to management about this. Came here for the first time after knowing about this place for many years. The inside is very cute, industrial-farmhouse chic. The concrete floors and high ceilings don't do much for the acoustics, as a result the interior is a bit noisy (not a big deal, more of an fyi). The outdoor seating is nice and dog friendly. Love the bench seats along the perimeter. Our waiter was a nice enough guy, seemed pretty over being a waiter, but we don't come to restaurants for extensive conversation with people who are trying to do their jobs, so no biggie. I ordered "the works" which was extremely filling and tasty. My partner ordered the eggs with biscuits and gravy and it was also very filling, we both struggled to finish, but eventually managed to. My only slight frustration was after looking at the menu online and deciding I wanted the kale drink, the price on the menu at the restaurant was %12 higher than the online menu, and for the small glass you get, $3.99 is already a bit much, let alone 4.49. I really don't appreciate price discrepancies. Maybe serve a slightly larger glass to justify that price. Hopefully they work that out. The waffles were burnt, there was 1 1/2 pieces of bacon, and the worst part is that there was the littlest serving of scrambled eggs (a spoonful!).
