Came here for Sunday brunch with the fam. Parking lot was packed but we were able to find a spot. Friendly hostess greeted us upon arrival and seated us right away. Waitress came over to take our drink orders. I got the blueberry lemonade which was a bit too sweet. Finally narrowed down my entree order to the Two by Two by Two which was pancakes, eggs and sausage. Pancakes were delightfully fluffy. My husband created his own baked omelette which could have fed the whole table. It looked amazing but lacked flavor so needed a lot of hot sauce. read more

Food is pretty good, the portion size is what keeps us coming back! Mud husband and I often share an omelette and get pancakes on the side. Here, we can do that and have three more days of meals the omelette is that big! Service is always fast and friendly and I think that too is what draws us back here often. Overall, it's pleasant however I do feel that the inside ambiance is lacking in outdated decor and old upholstery. Could use a freshen up and maybe just some fresh paint. Stopped in for a very late breakfast & we were so impressed! Our waitress, Kimberly, was the best part of our visit! She was very attentive and had the sweetest personality! Our food was absolutely delicious, with the pancakes being the best part. They are very soft and fluffy and prepared to perfection. The eggs were soft and made well. The grits were delicious, I added cheese to mine. My son Ordered the biscuits and gravy, and was very happy with the texture and taste of the biscuits. This OPH is hands down the best in Palm Beach County. Kimberly is a joy, she is not only efficient she is bubbly. The food is delicious, they serve the very best food especially the Dutch Baby. It's decorated for Halloween and wow, did not hey do a great job! I'm sure kids of all ages will enjoy eating in such a festive atmosphere. read more

I made this account specifically for this review! Completely unacceptable, ordered online and walked in at 11:23 , stood there for 10 minutes before someone asked if I'd been helped. The entire 10 minutes I'm looking at my food behind the counter, 2 people walk I after me and are immediately sat, then another lady comes up and says I'll be right with you, I proceed to wait another 5 minutes before someone slowly walks out with my order. We hadn't been to an OPH for over 20 years, but we're waiting on our vehicle to get new tires and another customer recommended we go since it was next door to the Discount Tire. Service was a little slow because they were short-handed and the poor waitresses were bussing their own tables, but they were hard working ladies and very sweet. Our waitress was Kimberly - a real sweetheart. I ordered biscuits and gravy, and hubby ordered the hash skillet. The food was good; like a home cooked breakfast. No frills and predictable. I tasted the hash - real corned beef, but too salty for me. Hubby liked it just fine and cleaned his plate. The toast was BIG and yummy - crispy outside and soft and warm inside. We didn't order fresh orange juice, but got to see the cool machine they had. Whole oranges go in the top and fresh orange juice comes out the bottom. I am originally from New Jersey and used to go to the original pancake houses there and they were always fantastic. This location I had the Apple cinnamon pancake and it was just as good as I remember. Next time I am in the west palm area I will definitely go back. read more

The worst ever. Waited 4 hours to not eat. We arrived at 10:30 we asked how long the wait was they said "not very long" so we put our name in. 2 hours later still waiting.... After we were finally seated we were told we could only order drinks because the kitchen closed until they caught up. Took 30 to get drinks the coffee was burnt and watered down. Awful. Then when we finally ordered it took over an hour to get our food. The food came wrong and my dish was only dough when I asked about it I was told they ran out of some of the ingredients. So they just served me part of what I ordered. Are you kidding? Awful. Breakfast at 2pm wasn't bad enough now I don't even get to eat. They didn't even try to make it right or offer any kind of discount for the inconvenience. The management here has to be the worst I've ever seen. Not to mention the air conditioning vents drip on you, the table, your plate the entire time. Gross. read more

I asked for waters for the family when we first sat down, asked again after the food was served, and next thing I remember is I got the check. My Irish omelette was missing the Irish (missing the corned beef), the gluten free pancakes were regular old pancakes, coffee refills were non existent and 6 M&Ms cost $1.50. Even despite the terrible service, we still tipped 20% on account that sometimes you can have a bad day (unlikely in this case). We've gone the the one in Frisco Texas many times while living there and they were always packed and the orders never got messed up and everything was always hot and exactly the way you order it. We've lived in West Palm Beach for three years and have been to the west palm beach location a handful of times and I think we've only had our order correct once. It's amazing how different the same company can be in two different locations. Something is always missing and have to re-request it.... I haven't been to this place in a while and was really looking forward to some delicious, fresh, buttermilk pancakes but it looks like they switched to using frozen pancakes maybe? They tasted like cardboard and that's me being honest not trying to be rude. I got the steak and eggs and hash browns with pancakes and my guest got bacon eggs and French toast and hash browns. My steak was ok I don't think they add any seasoning at all to the steak and it was cooked well done when I wanted medium well. Wasn't horrible but wasn't amazing either. I ordered the Irish omelet at the price of $17. I was expecting there to actually be corn beef hash in it and it looked like eggs only with cheese. I reported it to waitress she said they measure it out. I then asked do I get has browns or anything with it, nope not for $17 just toast. I ordered an English muffin it was as cold and hard as a hockey puck. The only reason I ate my meal was I did not eat dinner last night. I left 50% of the "eggs on the plate. Went because it was the only place walking distance while waiting at discount tire. Hashbrowns were stale and cold in the middle as though they were just slightly heated on the griddle. Toast was cold with cold butter, so there was no chance of having good toast. Eggs were very greasy. I never bothered taste them because no one ever came to fix the toast issue. I love finding new places that make me happy! && this is one of them! Oh I love me some breakfast! The Original Pancake House feels like home and super cute inside. It gives me the diner feels like places up north. We were greeted and seated quickly and the waitstaff was super friendly! They have a ton of booths for the my fellow booth lovers and the ambiance is super cute with additional twinkle lights! Breakfast sausage and maple syrup is one of the best combinations! And they have an item on the menu called pigs in blankets which is such a cute twist on breakfast! They are sausages wrapped in pancakes! DELICIOUS! You may look at it and think it might not be filling. But don't be alarmed! It hits the spot and then some! I was only able to eat ONE! My sister and I also split a side of home fries and some rye toast. I love it here and will definitely be back to try more of their menu! read more

I can't get enough of delicious breakfast places. They might be named after pancakes but their omelettes are phenomenal. They're really thick and are great for sharing. The plate includes pancakes so if you don't mind sharing, a couple can order for $10 basically. The crepes are very good too. I like the plain powdered sugar one with some strawberries on top. I tried the chocolate one but it was just too much chocolate. Perfect for a sweets lover though. The wait might look intimidating because it's packed with people sitting outside waiting but it generally goes by super quick. We've never waited more than 20-25 minutes to be seated for Sunday breakfast. read more

Service during the most recent visit was extremely problematic with the 'I'm not usually on breakfast' server forgetting water, more cream for the coffee and returning to take the order. Well this is probably the worst breakfast I've had in 10 years. For $30.58 it's not even close to disappointed. The hash brown were burnt so bad they were not edible. The Rainbow pancakes were just pancakes with mini m&ms thrown on top. Ice cold hard butter for the pancakes??? No toast with an 11.99 Corned beef hash entree is not a great value. The server was nice and friendly which was the only positive. Place was near empty which makes sense because this has no great breakfast vibe. There are just to many other options out there for breakfast for this to be ok. Sorry but in my opinion this place fails at quality and value both. I should mention that 30.58 was for corned beef hash with coffee, and 2 orders of rainbow pancakes with a paid side of bacon (3 pieces of bacon for 4.19). I feel ripped off. read more

The food here is horrid. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, its teo english muffins, eggs over hard, cheese and sausage. The english muffins tasted like theyvwere a week old (far from fresh). Eggs were very hard. Cheese prob wasn't real cheese, it was nasty. Sausage was frozen. Everything super oily. Hash browns saturated in grease, not crispy. Yuck! This was the worst breakfast I had in a long time. And with the $3 diet coke that was flat, bill was nearly $20. What a waste of my time, and a beautiful day. I wish I had gone somewhere else. This is one of our favorite spots. Service is excellent and the place is clean and organized. It gets crowded on weekends but tables seem to turn frequently.
