    Indoor seating area, May 2026.

Bottom line: I enjoyed my Tri-Fecta breakfast meal here. The chicken apple sausage patties were a particularly good part of it, along with the scrambled eggs and multigrain pancake. Positive helpful service. I would avoid the crowded times as I could see this area getting loud with the acoustics there. The Deets: Looking for a change from the normal breakfast places I frequent, I chose First Watch down the road from me (located near The Bradford apartment complex in Cary). I had been there years ago but not gone back to this location since then so they were due for a visit. I was seated promptly upon entering with menus to take in while my beverages came to the table. This location has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as well decorated for a breakfast chain but I can appreciate that when the indoor area gets more crowded, the acoustics can make for a loud atmosphere. They have a good selection from their regular menu as well as a seasonal menu with specials at that time. I went with the Tri-Fecta breakfast meal, which has two eggs any style, either a Belgian waffle/multigrain pancake, choice of bacon/smoked ham/chicken sausage patties/turkey or pork sausage links. I went with my eggs scrambled, one multigrain pancake, and the chicken apple sausage patties. I enjoyed my selection, a good well rounded breakfast. The scrambled eggs were done just as I like them as in not too runny, not too solid browned. The chicken apple sausage patties were a pleasant surprise in that I loved the taste here in that they were not overly spicy and had just enough apple to make it delicious but not sweet...I will definitely remember these in the future. The pancake was pretty fluffy and not dense, as well as a good sized pancake as well in that one was enough for me with all the other choices. My server was very pleasant and helpful (note that refills are taken care of here by a small carafe of coffee left at the table as well as a small bottle of water, as these were my beverage choices). One other observation, not sure why the few regular non-flavored Half-And-Halfs were at the bottom of the bowl on the table and only many all flavored one carefully arranged on very top, but regular ones were there if you dig for them. You can take your bill up front to pay or if choosing to pay at the table then you must do so by QR code (I am not a QR code fan, just never know what you are scanning out and about to be honest why I shy away from it...I have friends in IT security if you cannot tell...). There was a small wait for someone to come to the front register to check me out for paying. I enjoyed this breakfast stop for the most part here at this First Watch location and would visit again in the future but early as possible like this time, to avoid crowds.

We are in town for a baseball tournament here in Cary and we stopped for breakfast yesterday. There is great outdoor seating and our server Ally (sp) was very responsive. One of our guests is gluten free and we learned that even the gluten free menu items could not be guaranteed. I guess that is normal for restaurants. Otherwise we had a great experience

I came here on a Sunday morning. The place was pretty busy. I got a fall item: maple breakfast croissant but it was way too sweet, I felt like the apricot jam overpowered the ingredients too much. The iced coffee was also way watered down and way too much milk, as you can see in the picture. The ambience was fun and energetic but the food was just mediocre.

Burned Turkey Sausage with my child's breakfast. Why would you even serve someone this?

My child was given burned, overcooked turkey sausage with her breakfast. When I originally asked about it, a server laughed. Later, another more understanding server apologized.

Three adults and one two year old came here for a late breakfast on Friday. We were seated quickly and our server was quick to come get drink orders. Right now they have two menus. The regular one and a fall one. Two of us ordered from the regular menu and one had Brussel sprouts and egg dish. She said it was very salty but not to the point she couldn't eat it. We were surprised at the amount of food on the kids plate, especially the fruit . I had an omelette with bacon, cheese and avocado. It came with a salad and toast. It was good but didn't have much bacon...lots of cheese and avocado. A pitcher of water and coffee was left at the table so that was nice. The place was clean and tables were cleaned quickly after customers left. A modern country feel... They had a covered patio but it was raining so everyone was inside. A nice atmosphere and good food.

Coffee tasted good and the price was fairly reasonable! Combos are well worth the value. I've had mostly good service at this location. Can be fairly crowded on weekends, but the wait is never too long.

This is a cute little place that has vibes of a casual family hangout or could also be pulled off for a date night. The host was very welcoming and accommodating trying to find what works best for our family and took care of us well. The waiter was good a little forgetful, but nothing truly affect our experience too much. But he was helpful in navigating through our allergy orders The food The pizza: 3.8/5 pretty decent pizza, not the best I've had but pretty solid pizza with a good crust and chew and good flavors The hanger steak frites : 3/5 honestly a bit on the tough side, not so tough that it was annoying and not grizzly (which would bother me a lot), but enough that I had to work for the steak a bit more than I would like. The sauce wasn't too strong or too much flavor, but it was good compliment and of course the fries were great. The crabcakes 3.5/5 Over all these crabcakes are pretty good also not the best that I've had but good enough. I wish I was a little bit more crab than less filling, but an average decent crab cake. Overall, good experience, good food but the best but good. And wouldn't mind coming back to try more

We stopped by on a Sunday morning and the place was buzzing--I'm guessing many diners were coming from church. Thankfully we made a reservation because every table seemed to fill up quickly. To kick things off, we each ordered a refreshing Lone Rider wheat beer along with two appetizers. The Shoestring Okra Fries were a fun twist on a Southern classic--crispy, lightly seasoned with chili citrus seasoning, and even better dipped in the tangy lime mayo. We also shared the Artichoke Dip, which arrived bubbling hot, creamy, and perfect for spreading on the toasted bread. For brunch, we went with two very different dishes, and both were excellent. The Asparagus & Mushroom Omelet was fluffy and packed with flavor from the goat cheese and pickled onions, while the buttery biscuit with jam on the side was a nice Southern touch. The Fried Green Tomato & Bacon Benedict was the standout of the meal. Crispy fried green tomatoes, perfectly poached eggs, smoky bacon, and rich hollandaise came together beautifully without feeling overly heavy. We couldn't leave without one more treat. The Strawberry Kiwi Margarita was bright, fruity, and balanced with just enough tequila and a zesty spiced citrus rim to keep it refreshing. To finish, we shared an Affogato, the perfect ending with creamy ice cream and a shot of hot espresso. If you're planning a Sunday brunch in Cary, make a reservation--you'll be glad you did. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
