The food was delicious, the location was clean but our food took awhile to come out and when it did we still had to wait a few minutes for the eggs (not pictured) to arrive at the table.

The Kale Tonic was crisp, refreshing, and surprisingly sweet. Definitely lighter than your typical "green juice." No overpowering earthy taste, just a clean, bright flavor that hits the spot. I got the Maple Bacon Croissant Sandwich with chicken apple sausage. The croissant was buttery and flaky, and the apricot jam with pickled jalapeños gave it the perfect sweet and spicy combo. Definitely a standout! The Honey Chipotle Chicken Hash was another win. Tender chicken, crispy potatoes, and that honey chipotle glaze brought the perfect balance of sweet and smoky. Hearty but not heavy. The staff were super welcoming and on top of everything, and the restaurant itself was bright, cozy, and spotless.

    Breakfast

Sat for nearly 10 minutes before anyone came over. No mugs on the table. Once she took our order the server brought water glasses but still no mug for coffee. Once she did, we saw it had coffee still on it - gross! We ordered the donut holes - they came out at the same time as our food! They were hot, but nothing else was. I mean the butter in my waffle never melted. Bacon was chewy and cold. Donut holes advertised to have cinnamon sugar - powdered sugar was it! And it took forever for her to check on us. So we ate.... I like First Watch, but doubt I will come ba k to this location.

The trifecta effect is real! Let me tell you, the coffee is absolutely incredible! I indulged in the trifecta - a mouthwatering combo of Belgian waffle, crispy bacon, and fluffy egg whites, paired with cheesy grits that are just to die for! Umm, umm, so good! And don't even get me started on the juice - it was pure morning magic, TOP TIER! I rolled in around 10 am, and it was the perfect moment--just the right amount of buzz in the air! The country/farmhouse vibe of the place is so charming and warm! Everything felt so homely and inviting! And my waitress, Shonda, was absolutely fantastic!

The restaurant vibes was so good, casual, and nice. Good for family and friends breakfast or brunch. The service was okay. The food, just away from my expectations. I had eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was a bland. And the potatoes half cooked. I don't eat the potatoes. Thanks God my orange juice was so fresh, sweet, and delicious. My kids and husband got theirs better than mine.

If I ever want some very healthy food, this is the place I like to go. I usually go to the First Watch in Dunwoody but today I was closer to the Chamblee First Watch. This place has lots of great food and drinks. If you want to have something sweet they have a lot of great waffles and pancakes. I usually have the Power Quinoa Breakfast Bowl with the basted eggs. My only complaint and this is usually my complaint at any breakfast place, is that they can't get my egg yolk preference correct. I want the white cooked and I want the yellow part completely runny. Most places always leave the egg on the skillet a bit too long and the yellow part hardens. I never send them back because it isn't as big a deal as the rest of the meal. The only thing is that I love to cover my quinoa grains in yolk. The service at this restaurant is ok, not the best but good enough. For the most part the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing in the morning, however some days, especially weekend, can be very busy. So bring your patience. They do have an app where you can save your place in line before you get there. Use it if you are in any haste.

    Traditional breakfast

First Watch was a miss today from the presentation of the food on the plate to the warmth of the meal on the plate to the nuke they had to do to the meal in the microwave. I wish I wouldn't have come today. When they delivered the traditional breakfast to the table, it looks messy and thrown together. Then I tasted a potato and it was cold. I asked if the server could bring back a warm plate because the food was cold and she brought it back 10 minutes later. I'm pretty sure she put it in the microwave and nuked it because the butter that was on the toast was extremely melted when she brought it back to the table. The bacon was really soft too and not crunchy which was a turnoff. Overall the meal wasn't good and I won't be back. The two star rating was because we were seated quickly and the server was pretty attentive.

Service was top notch. The hostess was also our server and she was able to multitask very well. I ordered from the summer menu and was pleased with my choice of the Elote breakfast burrito. I've been to several of their locations and they have been consistently great. If you find yourself near any of their locations stop in and grab some good food.

My partner convinced me to go to first watch because he was craving it, our usual breakfast place is flying biscuit, but he wanted to be bougie today I guess. We walked in, the atmosphere was the typical corporate first watch. We were seated immediately which was the smoothest part of the meal. The place was bustling but not packed, about half the tables were full. We weren't impressed with the service. Had to ask for silverware, maple syrup, his oatmilk for coffee twice. She asked if I wanted salad or potatoes, I said salad and she still came out with the most undercooked potatoes I've ever had in my life. it reminded me of the time someone served me potato pretending it was apple, except they didn't make it extremely salty. She brought out the mediocre salad after. My omelette had all the filling on one side, so half was unseasoned egg and the other half was over salted chorizo, over salted because there was so little of it but they still wanted the chorizo flavor i guess. I also asked for less cheese and onion which she didn't even put in the system. I know I sound picky but I don't think a minor modification is hard. Highlights were the blueberry whatever juice that was so sweet I could keep adding water so it never ended, and the sweet cashier who checked us out with a smile. I'm going back to flying biscuit. half the price, twice the potato cook time.

    Millionaire Bloody Mary's

We had a great experience here for Sunday brunch. We had to wait a few minutes, but nothing crazy. The service was good but it took a while to get our order in. The Bloody Marys we started with were really good. The millionaire bacon on top was spectacular. I got the Barbacoa Quesadilla that is on the Fall special menu. It was very tasty! Prices are a little high, but I think that is the normal now. Overall a good experience. Great food and drinks!

At first there was a mix up with who was serving us do we got explained the drink menu twice. After our appetizer, we waited about 30-40 minutes for the rest of our items which took longer than we thought. They did give us some house made popcorn to keep us busy. Jahjoy pork belly: Tasty & tendor. I loved the papaya salad which left a refreshing contrast. A bit too saucy for me. Flavors were strong. Squid ink bucatini: our favorite! Must get dish - bucatini is perfectly al dente & the spicy sauce was very flavorful. Jumbo shrimp was delicious, and the anchovy on top left a nice strong flavor. Red snapper: This has some Vietnamese influences with the sauce. It was a lighter dish which was just OK for me, I would have liked the fish to have a crispier skin. Not much flavor besides the sauce which is inspired by canh chua. Wagyu flank steak: cooked to perfection and flavored well, loved the celery puree which was much tastier than we expected celery to be. Dessert was mint chocolate cake which was very tasty. I wish the cake was softer and meltier in the center but it was still good. Malt gelato was delicious. Could def taste the mintiness. Creme pat along the edges was a nice add to the cake with cacao nibs and popcorn for a textural contrast. I enjoyed it!! Overall we had a great meal and could tell the ingredients were very fresh. The presentation for all the dishes was beautiful!! We can tell the chef puts care in his food :) Appreciated the personal touch - they gave a handwritten card to my husband for his birthday!

I do use AI to write these easily, so pardon the clunkiness lol…read more The Food The menu here is a really cool take on elevated yet comfortable Southern food. After a few visits, I've tried a good variety of the menu: * **Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich:** This is served open-face and uses a mix of Sichuan and Calabrian chili. It is absolutely amazing, but fair warning: it is *hot*. Even if you're used to Sichuan spice, this one may still be tough to deal with, but it's still incredibly flavorful and enjoyable. Just keep in mind that they don't adjust the heat level for this one. * **The Greens:** These are wonderful. They have a rich, savory pork flavor and are easily a must-order for me every single time. * **Shrimp and Grits:** This has a fantastic sauce that strikes the perfect balance--not too heavy, but not watery either. My only minor wish is that they'd add some andouille sausage to it (even if raised the price), but it's still a really well-executed dish. * **Southern Pho:** Really great and super hearty. It's a comforting bowl, though probably best enjoyed during the winter months. * **Drinks:** The cocktails are always creative and well-made, and they keep a really interesting beer list on hand too. ### 2. The Ambience The vibe here is great. The interior feels like a charming, cozy little house you'd find in Savannah. I especially love the bar area, which has these really cool copper chandelier lights that give the space a warm, inviting glow. ### 3. The Service The staff has been consistently friendly and welcoming every single time I've been here. The Summary I honestly feel lucky to live close to this place. Off rip I ordered a sweet tea which was phenomenal. It tasted like it has a slight peach undertone to it, and it was the right amount of sweet. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp as my appetizer and the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and brussels (I dont like coleslaw). I was told the bacon wrapped shrimp was a new menu item. For $19? They were cool. The fried chicken was really good. It was still steaming hot inside, when I took my first bite. The chicken was tender and had a good crunch to it. The brussels were okay. I typically like a more sweet glaze on my brussels but they did the job. I liked the mashed potatos, they were a little runny; the gravy made up for that though. I'm not a biscuit person but the biscuit that came with this meal was very soft, fluffy, moist, and had butter throughout. It was a bummer the only choices of hot sauce available were Tabasco and Cholula. I usually like Texas Pete, Crystal, or Louisiana hot sauce in my chicken. I WILL say, the monkey bread was SOOOOO good. So soft, warm, with apples and vanilla ice cream. If I knew it was this good I would have ordered 2 to go.
