Then she seat me at the back in the private room which I felt offended because I was the only black person in there so why didn't she ask was it ok to seat me in the back. So do ppl expect you to use the napkin that came with your silverware. Why do I have to ask. I said eggs well done because ppl like to cook them and leave them a little runny so it was browned. So, first of all, I have been here many many times and have always had great service. Today was by far the worst experience I have ever had at this place. My significant other ordered an eggs Benedict without tomatoes because she was allergic, which that came out super raw with the eggs barely even cooked. We waited for our waitress to come back to check on us and she never came. We had to stop another waiter to get it fixed. After the other waiter took it back to get it fixed we still never saw our waitress. Another server brought the new Benedict out and guess what had tomatoes on it. Sent that one back and still did not hear from our waitress as she has now walked passed our table multiple times. After 25 minutes and having the urge to leave she finally showed up with her food. Note this entire time we also had her empty drink cup at the edge of the table clearly visible that it needed to be filled for over 30 minutes. I am so impressed and thrilled that college station finally has another legit brunch place! The inside is super hip and appealing to the eye- it doesn't look like a small town type of place. Of course it is a chain. It was super crowded but we went on a Sunday let morning. I had the hash with bacon, avocado, etc and over easy eggs on top. It was absolutely delicious!! Can't remember what it was called. Also tried the breeze juice which was refreshing. My expectations for service were low but our waiter did a great job! We spent the weekend in college station for the A&M vs. UCLA game. We ate breakfast here on our last morning in town and wished it was our first morning because we would have come here more than once. The food was fresh, delicious and without a doubt the best meal we had during our 4 day stay in college station. I ordered their yogurt and fruit, and ordered a pancake just so I could have a couple of bites.....well, holy cow. Banana and granola pancake ruled! It is huge, covers a dinner plate. I had about 4 bites with a bit of syrup, the rest of it I decided against. Great service, the lemon curd pancakes of my table mate looked fabulous as well. I really want to like this place, but almost everything I have tried has had some fatal flaw. My favorite thing to order should be the regular eggs benedict, but of the six times I've ordered it, five times it has come out somewhere between luke warm and cold. I've sent it back numerous times hoping they would get it, but eventually I just stopped ordering it because I want to eat with my family. So I tried the scrambles, but they are so heavy on potatoes that I can't enjoy it. So I tried the omelets, but the ingredients were folded into a cooked egg nearly raw themselves. Over time I've tried approximately ten items on the menu, with nearly the same experience every time, that the dish should be good but isn't because of some varied failure to execute. When prodded to go back I begrudgingly order the lemon ricata pancakes, my 11th choice on the menu, because that one they get right. read more

I've been going here since August 2017 and I have never been disappointed. On busy days like the weekends or college events (move in, graduation, etc...) you will need to have the app in order to get in line, but the wait has always been worth it. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and don't rush you. They do have a policy of putting the check on the table when you're about halfway through the meal, but this is only so you can leave at your leisure and don't have to flag them down. I've noticed a lot of the same staff working there the whole time (the last two years), which shows good management. The food is great, I've had over half the menu at this point, and it's so big that there is always something for everyone. I love their seasonal additions and beverages. If you have the app and sign up for emails, you'll get a $2 coupon towards your ticket on a rolling basis. I almost always have one ready whenever I go. The place is always clean, trendy, efficient, and bustling (but not crazy feeling). I recommend this for families, groups of friends, breakfast/coffee dates, and even solo-eating. They have a community table and you don't have to feel awkward having some pancakes while reading a book. I would NOT recommend this place to study because it can get loud, and you would be taking up a table for a server for hours that would normally get multiple customers through. The prices are around $1-3 more than I would want to spend on any dish or drink, but the portions and taste are always good. I love the Chickichanga, the Farmhouse Skillet Hash, the Turkey Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, the Avocado Toast, and the Morning Meditation. And of course their massive Chocolate Chip pancakes. As long as you do the online check in, the wait for a table isn't that bad. The real wait happens after you're seated though. By the time someone actually comes to see what you would like to drink, you've already had enough time to read the whole menu twice and also figure out what it is you want to eat. And this is before you've even been able to get one sip of coffee. For a breakfast joint, they don't seem to realize how important coffee is in the mornings. We were helped by no less than five different wait staff, all of whine we only saw once, except for one girl who happened to stop by the table twice. Wow Breakfast! This is really an amazing breakfast place. It is right by highway and has spacious parking. They have amazing options in the menus both for drinks and meals. I liked my sunrise Granola, variety of fruits pieces on top of the yoghurt incorporated with the granola chunks., this was a wonderful light breakfast and the coffee was nice too. I visiting First Watch right now and I wanted to write this before even walking out the building. I sat at the bar love the atmosphere here it's very clean the decor in here is beautiful. My server today was Kati she was so great... I live in Tennessee and have a location there and never been but with my experience today with Kati I will definitely be visiting more locations. She was very peasant and helpful and went over the menu with me. She took her time she didn't rush me. The food was excellent I enjoyed every bite. I'm not a fan of "healthy" food, or particularly food that sacrifices flavor for health/perceived health. I had a protein bowl special here that had some good flavor. It was supposed to come with watermelon radishes, but there were none. The chicken in the dish was very bland and in a very small portion. All in all, the portion was quite small, and my poached egg was not runny (though they were particularly busy on this day so I understand if my food was under a lamp for a while.) When I finished the bowl, I was still quite hungry, but a few minutes later my stomach was quite heavy and full. The food wasn't terrible, though I basically felt like I was eating brown rice with not much else. More than anything, I'm disappointed all the components of my dish were not there. The restaurant was packed because of graduation. I appreciate that they put out water and coffee for free outside of the restaurant for those waiting. We had to wait more than an hour past our reservation, but I get it. Sometimes, you're just slammed. read more
