That's fine, I certainly don't expect every place to be but it's very uncomfortable to be avoided like the plague. And in this instance my grandbaby was extremely happy and well behaved. And maybe I pulled the server short straw but I rushed in in-between cleaning and errands so dressed less than upper class= ignored like yesterday's news. I left a good tip due to being the industry myself for over 20 years but it definitely wasn't deserved. I wasn't even offered water and a totally different server had to bring me a togo cup. They need to work on logistics, lines are always long, and then having to wait in line to checkout, is not the most efficient, enjoyable process and you have a line through the middle of a small restaurant. This place is so good! I took my parents for brunch on my ring day and we all thought the food was spectacular. We were in town to visit the Bush center and went exploring for a place to have lunch. We walked up to the door at 2:35, then saw the sign that says they close at 2;30. As we were turning to leave a waiter opened the door and said "Come on in!" We're glad we did. My husband had the Monterey Club with soup and I ordered the Chicken Palermo with a pecan dijon salad. A great new farm to table breakfast, brunch, and lunch place. Being new to BCS area, we were looking for just such a place. We had our own coffee pot and water pitcher for our table. And for the coffee you have several different half & half flavors right at your table! Then came the amazing fresh local ingredient food. The daily fresh made muffins were a delight and the blueberry pancakes tasted just like the muffin. The Hash and Eggs Benedict were other surprises of wholesome goodness. We were thrilled with only being open a week that the quality of food was superb. As far as service, everyone is very attentive. Again being new to the area and coming from a tourist location we are used to a higher level of service. But we were pleased with the effort put forth and the attention of the manager and his obvious training of staff. I am sure over time all servers, host, and staff will come to a higher level of quality. We are looking forward to our next visit. read more

This place has great freshly made healthier food that you can't get at the local diner dumps like The Kettle and you pay a little more than expected for that. I have heard lots of great things about this place. I was warned not to come on the weekend as the wait can be up to an hour. My wife and I decided to go eat on a Tuesday morning. There was absolutely no wait. The atmosphere is very nice and the service was top notch. You get a lot of food here which is great. The only reason I am giving a 4 star is because I had super high expectations for the food, since I've only heard great things. I was a little disappointed. The food isn't bad by any means, just not as amazing as it had been built up to be. I prefer IHOP's food to be frank, but the atmosphere here is better. Overall it was a good experience. Have been here a few times and I really want to love it. The service is just horrendous. We were sat outside and then another couple sat down with their dog after us. The waitress ignored us and served the dog owners first, then went back in got the dog water and still did not address us. After petting the dog and going back inside she came out roughly 3 minutes later as we were getting up to leave. She was going to serve us without washing her hands after petting the dog. I love dogs too but what if I'm allergic and now you've touched my coffee cup and utensils? I have come here many times hoping each time the service will be better and I leave always disappointed. My husband went to talk to the manager but there was a huge line to check out and he would caused a scene. read more

For CSB this is a refreshing place very Californian now don't get all upset it's just they have fresh fruit and veggie based menu items which is considered a California thing. They always have a long wait on the weekends so go early or use the app. Coffee was great hot and didn't have that burnt taste just rich coffee flavor. The food is great, the staff is great. Service can get slow when it is crowded. It's a very nice place to eat and all of the staff are very friendly. The only gripe I have, and it is minor is those darn trees, the landscaping is awful. Replace the trees, put in a flower or two. Go look at Napa Flats for inspiration! read more

Oh my! Visiting College Station for the first time. Went for breakfast/brunch and it was sooo good came back the next day! The lemon ricotta pancakes were so good, I didn't even use syrup (which comes warm, btw). The food is decent, although nothing mind-blowing. The problem here is purely time management. This location has been open for 2yrs now and is still incapable of seating you in a reasonable or even predictable amount of time. It's understandable if the wait is long, and they have a potentially great app for checking in ahead of time. But we have now tried to eat here multiple times where the app made no difference. Today we checked in 2 hours early (party of 6) on the app, and were told to arrive at 11:40. When we arrived right on time, we were told there were still 3 parties ahead of us and it would be another half hour. Already pretty unacceptable in my book. However, we waited that half hour, and were still not even the top of the list! It was now 12:15, after having checked in around 9:45, and we were still being told at least another 20min. The inability to manage crowds, check-ins, reservations, or even give a remotely honest wait time here means that we won't be returning. read more
