I have no issues with waiting however, please don't allow people to skip the line... if they are loud and frustrated then they need redirecting. This was my second time and probably my last. I was disappointed in the length of time it took to get our food on my first visit. So hoping it was just a bad day, I decided to give it another try. Apparently it was not. First visit 1 hour to get our food second visit 45 minutes to get our food. The food was very good as well as the servers, it just seems the kitchen cannot keep up with the crowd. Because it takes so long to get served, just the wait to be seated becomes long. It's easy to be there for 2 hours for breakfast. Because of this I am going to have to take this place off my list of places to eat. Which is regretful because the food was very very good. read more

We highly recommend that you pass this one up. This is the first and last time we will be visiting here. Over an hour to receive our meals with little to no attention from our server. Ahhhhh...Finally an alternative to grits, waffles, biscuits/gravy! There is a great selection of dishes, the Benedict options were very good with a handful of greens, to start your day off right. Coffee, OJ, and solid service all added up to a great way to avoid cooking for ourselves this morning...Loved it! read more

I am really disappointed in how First Watch handled a mistake. My husband and I recently went in on a Sunday during peak times - we knew they would be busy. From the time we sat down to the time we got our food we waited an hour. And we ordered the first time we saw our server. Still not upset. But then my husband got the wrong Benedict. We told our server but we did not want to wait for the correct plate order to be placed and made - we waited so long already and he was starving. The server went on to say she put the order in right essentially passing the blame onto the kitchen. But when we saw the ticket it had the wrong Benedict written down. So I said something to the front desk when we paid and they didn't even respond to the situation. Having worked in breakfast restaurants myself, I understand mistakes are made. I do not appreciate how they handled it. And the worst part - my husband didn't like the Benedict he had. I did enjoy my food though and so did our son. read more

The food is always good, but the wait time is inaccurate. We were second place on the waitlist, and we waited inside by the hostess stand to be called. After 15-20 minutes of waiting, the hostess had removed us from the waitlist without our knowledge. When I brought it to the hostess attention, she claimed that we had not come forward when she had called for us; she waited 12 minutes before removing us. Also she said that we would have to wait again and dismissed us. Luckily another hostess decided to assist/seat us. read more

When I was seated I looked around and noticed every table have not been cleaned, didn't understand why they didn't bus each table if they had no one running the front of the house in a timely manner. Amazing restuarant truly a breath of fresh air. The host was kind and hilarious! Our server was Arthur absolutely the BEST! Don't even get me started on the price, Incredible! We loved the previous restaurant before the change, and was very nervous about it. All of our fears were laid to rest the first time we ate at First Watch. We eat here at least once a week usually on Sat. or Sun. the food is good, fresh and organic. We appreciate a restaurant that only wants to serve the freshest and best food available. There is only one thing I can say I wish was the same as their previous restaurant. When the change happened they sadly discontinued their flavored coffee. I miss my Southern Pecan Coffee. My experience would be perfect if only they would bring back the flavored coffees and added turkey bacon to their menue. read more

I love this little cafe and its vibe. It's a nice get away from the surrounding area. The food choices are great and more importantly, the food tastes great! I love that I can reserve a spot through the yelp app so when we pulled up we got seated right away. Only gripe would be the portion size being small for my husband's appetite. My first time here, breakfast was very good had the farmhouse hash which was cooked to perfection the bacon was crispy and the dish was well seasoned. The service was fast and friendly our server Keli checked on us often which is refreshing in today's restaurants. My mom was with me and had the French toast which she enjoyed. Solid 2 and a half star place. Good food. And if you live in Columbus about the only place you can get breakfast that isn't waffle house. The layout of the restaurant is failure by design. Long wait to get a table and even longer to pay becusse they stack them at the front of the door on top of each other. This was the worst First Watch I have ever been to having been to several in Florida and Atlanta! I specifically asked for Gluten free as they have that option! Waitress was doing double duty as cashier also got my plate regular toast not gluten free and eggs were running all over the plate should have been over medium had to ask another server for syrup and had to send plate back! Waitress disappeared again had to ask another for water, then my new plate came after my son had finished his meal and I got over easy eggs again and just finally gave up! This was our first time at First Watch. We ended up coming here after the wait for IHOP was too long. The menu has a lot of healthy items but it's nothing spectacular. The service was awful. I nearly lost my seat as the hostess did not speak my name loud enough and was only calling names to the right half if the room. Thankfully I got a text from Yelp letting me know my table was ready. We sat down ordered our drinks with water. We never received our water. My toast was held up (like how hard is it to toast bread), we didn't get our dressing for our salad, in fact we were not asked if we needed anything. Finally, when we nearly finished our meal we got a little attention & I let our server know we did not get everything. Another 10 min later, we got my toast and our water...we had already finished eating & just asked for the check. I didn't want to wait another 20 min for that. Next time, I will wait it out at IHOP. read more

Don't order the Eggs Benedict. The sauce is made from a powder. It appears that they don't use real butter or lemon. Poached eggs were over cooked. In my opinion, they should take this item off the menu as it is too expensive and difficult for them to cook correctly. Pleased with food . I had the chicken tacos and they were delicious. However, they alway take forever. I have even had to leave one time because it took 10 minutes to get waters and just knew it was a bad day for them. My kids were not going to wait patiently. I believe it's the same as The Egg an I and I ate there several times as well and alway took forever as well . I have also over heard people at other tables complaining about this as well . I hope they figure it out because we do enjoy it, but don't go there as much as we wold like due to the slow service. read more

Our first visit and will definitely come back for our son's Basic Graduation. We are here for Family weekend. Food was delicious and staff are super friendly and attentive.
