Had such an amazing time at another one of their locations that I decided to try this one out for a much needed hearty breakfast. It's cold out and I wanted something warm. Apparently their specialty coffee is only served iced, so the only option is regular brew. I opted out since I can do that at home. I really enjoyed the Morning Meditation fresh squeezed juice during my last visit but this location was out of ingredients and I was unable to get it. Water it is. For my meal I ordered the Biscuits & Gravy with eggs. I love how the gravy is made with turkey sausage. As a non pork eater I struggle to find places that serve non pork gravy and was so glad they had turkey sausage based gravy that I could devour. It comes with their seasoned potatoes but based on the reviews I decided to swap for grits. The biscuits & gravy were my favorite part of the meal. I wish it came with 2 instead of a side. I got my eggs scrambled. It was ok, typical container eggs. Next time I'll try fried hard eggs so I can have a real egg. The grits... they gave me the hard part that's usually found stuck to the bottom of the pan. Some parts were regular after I scraped the hard parts out. No flavor, I definitely needed to add salt & pepper. I'll be back for sure but will probably try to get the biscuits & gravy w/o a side. read more

She filled our coffee mugs, only halfway, which was great since they did get cool. But since we had the coffee carafe on the table, it was fine. I asked for my eggs benedict, to be poached medium. They were poached hard, but it was still tasty.I know it's challenging to do a medium poaching. Ate there this morning. Ordered two of their breakfast sandwiches, eggs Benedict, and French toast. The sandwiches had flavor. The eggs Benedict was hella basic with hollandaise sauce dabbed on the size of quarter. The French toast tasted like card board. On a good note, the environment is top notch. I'm not sure why the reviews for this location are so low, every time I come my food is hot and fresh and so yummy! We came for breakfast and were greeted and seated right away upon arriving. The restaurant is always clean and the servers are so nice! I received plenty of compliments on my hair from the staff and they were all serving smiles. Our server was all smiles and so accommodating! I ordered the Carne asada hash for my meal, a waffle for my son and I to share and he ordered the bacon and egg kids meal which came with fresh fruit. Everything was absolutely delicious! The hash was so fresh and flavorful, you can tell they use fresh ingredients. The hash came with two warm tortillas which was prefect for making little tacos! I also ordered the lavender cocktail which packed a punch and was yummy. And the blue booster juice, which was absolutely phenomenal! My son enjoyed his food, the waffle was good as well. This wasn't my first visit to a First Watch restaurant, but I have yet to be disappointed. There is a huge selection of equally tempting choices on the menu. I went with the mint mocha iced coffee which is a departure from my usual hot coffee. It was delicious and made me think it could easily serve as a dessert cocktail by adding a little vodka to it. My daughter and I split a million dollar bacon, which was basically four strips of maple syrup covered bacon. Can't really go wrong there. For an entree I went with avocado toast and added a slice of ham to my order. Everything was good here. My only complaint is that I wasn't asked how I wanted my eggs prepared. Probably just an oversight by the waitress, but it slipped my mind as well. The restaurant was only moderately busy and we didn't have to wait to get seated even though we were there on a Sunday morning. If you go here, just be aware that it's not cheap. Even if we didn't get the extra vans drinks and appetizer, we would still looking at a bill of over $30 before tip. So just be aware of that. That being said, it was a solid and enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back again. read more

We arrived and ordered our usuals. The waiter unfortunately did not inform us that they had ran out of chicken sausage (which I ordered and even ordered an extra side of for my toddler). When the food was brought to the table I immediately noticed the wrong sausage. The staff said "they told you we were out of chicken sausage right? That turkey". So not only did they not inform me but just decided to replace it, but also without ever giving me an option. The potatoes were undercooked, meaning harder that they should've been. Super busy on a Sunday morning. The Bloody Mary was served in cute little container but hardly filled up a small cocktail glass. They should provide a better serving size. I had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. When they brought out my plate; the scrambled eggs were not really scrambled. They were pan fried and it was mixed with uncooked parts of egg whites. First, the hostess who brought us to our table was drinking a smoothie and just pointing at the table we were supposed to go to (no, "here's your table, your server will be right with you" just legitimate pointing). Aug 10 Extremely disappointed with breakfast from this location. Our order included shrimp & grits, salmon frittata, and the trifecta with waffle, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Let me start with the shrimp & grits -- they were served in the same box container used for other items, and there was so much oil in the container that it was inedible. The oil had soaked through the bag and caused the grits to get hard. On top of that, they threw so many green onions on it that I can only assume it was to cover up the poor quality. I ended up throwing it away. The salmon frittata was overcooked and extremely dry, with barely any salmon -- you really had to search for it. Lastly, the scrambled eggs were stuck to the container and inedible, so those went in the trash as well. Needless to say, I will not be returning to First Watch. Sadly, a few friends had warned me about bad experiences at this location, but I decided to give it a try anyway since I hadn't experienced any issues in the past. I watched as certain people (!) walked in and were immediately seated as opposed to seating those who had already been waiting with the same number in their party. I ordered a small cranberry juice which had to be returned because it was served in a dirty glass. My "Works" omelet needed more work and as you can see from the picture, my potatoes were burnt. In addition, my friend requested soft eggs and after 2 attempts from the kitchen, gave up and did not eat anything. The manager was called over. There is a First Watch near the Concord Mills Mall area that opens at 7 am every morning. Getting quickly seated was very easy, and having a fast cup of decent coffee was even easier. I decided to go away from the Eggs Benedict and see if the Carne Asada Hash, a new dish being offered, would be tasty. The mixture used breakfast potatoes already served with several egg dishes there. It really wasn't a hash and I had to cut down the squares of the potatoes to get a better flavor of the steak and peppers inside. Overall, a decent breakfast place but I would probably go back to the Eggs Benedict if I visit again. read more

I ordered avocado toast with egg (asked for it to be well done, fried, dark). The order came with runny eggs literally...twice. It always took her 20mins to come back to our table for anything - felt we were there forever just watching more ppl come in need of seats. The pancakes ordered by someone in our party came out wrong. The only positives were I liked the multiple creamer options they offer when you order coffee kettle. I already wrote a Google review but I felt the need to come here and spread the Good News about First Watch near Concord Mills Mall. I had the French toast and it was so good! I arrived around 1:30ish and there was a 20 minute wait for a party of one. The wait time given was accurate and I saw groups of 4-6 seated within a reasonable time. The food was HOT and fresh. It's a family friendly establishment and had a lot of options. There wasn't too much noise so conversation would be easy. I've been here several times over the last few years. Previously, I enjoyed the food but the service was poor. I recently visited again and the service was much better. In fact, I went solo and was in and out in about half an hour. It was the quickest service I've had in a while! I'm usually a traditionalist so I got the trifecta which was a waffle combo with eggs and chicken sausage. You also have the option of getting pancakes or french toast in the combo and I can say the french toast is also pretty good (based on past visits). I enjoyed the waffle... I'm a bit of a waffle snob and I like my waffles light, airy and crisp and this one checked the boxes. While I didn't order any of the fresh juices this time, I can vouch for the kale tonic (kale, apple, cucumber and lemon). The other juices also sound great, and they rotate new seasonal flavors in. If I had any complaints, it's just portion size. For example, the side scrambled egg that comes in the combo is literally just one scrambled egg and they only give you one piece of thin chicken sausage. Maybe I just have a big appetite but I could have gone for a a couple more bites! read more

Let me start by saying, I know a lot of people really love First Watch...for me personally it just never quite meets the mark, Gave it another shot, tried some new things. Breakfast tacos were good, chicken chimmy was good. Also tried the carrot cake pancake, it was okay but had raisins in it and large (long) shreds of carrots...so that was different. They ended up swapping out the pancake for the gingerbread doughnut holes and those were good flavor wise but definitely not crispy or fried like they look in the picture. They were soft, but the sauces with them were very good, both of which would have went very well with the carrot cake pancake (minus the raisins and with smaller pieces of carrot). Our server was excellent, visiting from another store. Overall not a bad experience, but still nothing that had me rushing to go back. read more

I've had plenty of good experiences here at this place! My favorite thing about First Watch is their seasonal juice. I typically eat on the healthier side when I come here. I either get the avocado toast, power wrap, as my go-to options. But I don't mind trying what ever new seasonal item they have. A few times the kitchen has over looked a few order notes such as "no cheese" or a substitution ingredient. However it's always correct with no fuss reflected on my side. 6/24/22: I met a friend here for breakfast before going back out of town. I've never eaten here before. The place was packed & not a soul had on a mask there but me. I felt like an oddball but whatever. They were all seated close together too, so I'm confused. Anyway, we ordered...I had a plain pancake & regular bacon. There was nothing plain about it. It tasted like something was in it. It left a weird taste in my mouth & the bacon was old and soggy. My friend had million dollar bacon that he absolutely loved & a breakfast bowl. He enjoyed his food. If I ever go back, I'm going to definitely try something different. The waitress was sweet and very attentive. I didn't catch her name though. The place was chaotic but she made time to keep making sure we were good. All in all this place is a 3 star. If I ever go back and it's a better experience, I will update. read more

We came for breakfast on a weekday, it took a bit for us to be seated considering the restaurant wasn't busy. We ordered coffee, shrimp and grits, and a Chickichanga. We started with the coffee and it wasn't the best. The shrimp and grits were pretty good and had a nice flavor.
