Good veg sandwich and soup! Their beet drink was best. A bit of waiting time in the mornings but worth it!

When I get that brunch text from friends, I don't even look where we're going because I am automatically in! This was my first time visiting a First Watch, and I left the restaurant so blissfully content that I actually forgot my keys! Don't worry, they kept them safe for me and I got them back next day. The service was fantastic, and our server was so sweet and patient with us. She never once made us feel rushed or guilty for hanging out and chit chatting. We are "ladies who lunch", after all. Just kidding, it was Sunday and we have full time jobs and barely find time to meet up on weekends. Anyways, back to First Watch. As soon as we sat down, I just went straight out with it and said, "I'm craving donuts!!" Lucky enough, one of their seasonal menu items just so happens to be their Holey Donuts which are little cinnamon sugar dusted cake donut holes with chocolate sauce and a warm mixed berry compote for dipping. Needless to say, I was in donut heaven. For my main dish, I ordered the BLTE which is a classic BLT but with two over-hard eggs, cheese, and mayo on artisan whole grain bread. I LOVED it. It was the perfect amount of saltiness that was needed after those donut holes. Originally, I went in thinking I was going to try one of their fresh juices but I was coerced into getting a brunch cocktail. Honestly, as soon as this drink hit my lips all regret went away - it was the Spiked Lavender Lemonade with New Amsterdam 5X distilled vodka, lemon, cane sugar, butterfly pea flower tea and a hint of lavender. My new favorite cocktail. I'm ready to go back again this weekend!

Ample parking, well lit, clean floors, great menu options, superior service. What more can you ask for? This place hit a home run with the ambiance and energy that matched my thought process. My server Hamza was engaged and direct. I ordered a morning mediation and a morning market veggie omelette with roasted zucchini, onions, crimini mushrooms tomatoes, roasted peppers, whipped up into a cage free egg omelette. Everything was exceptional. I realized that the energy you bring into a dining experience can sometimes constitute how your rating will be. Make your day equal to how you want to feel inside. Good food feeds the spirit Cheers

Another good brunch at First Watch. We added a new dish today...Breakfast Tacos. Plentiful and yummy like everything else we have tried.

I usually love first watch and never have any issues however this location reallllyyyy tested me today. I ordered the morning market veggie omelette with seasoned potatoes. Its a simple order, there were no customizations or anything. I received 2 chicken quinoa bowls???? They apologize and remake the meal, all is good. I got my order and found a bacon piece in my veggie omelet. How does any of this make sense? As a vegetarian this was very frustrating. Not happy

There were nine of us--not exactly a tiny table, but hardly the kind of group that should throw a restaurant into chaos. To be fair, we did wait for two people in our party before ordering food. It was probably 20-30 minutes, and we made it very clear to our server that we were waiting. We also weren't just camping out at the table. We started with drinks while we waited, so the restaurant was already making money from our table before the kitchen ever had to cook a single thing. Once everyone arrived, we placed one order together. No staggered tickets, no special requests, no unnecessary complications. The thing is... the restaurant was practically empty. If anything, I would've thought they'd be happy to have a table of nine on a slow brunch. Instead, it felt like we were an inconvenience. Once we finally ordered, it was another 30-plus minutes before much of anything happened. Our waitress wasn't rude, but she also wasn't particularly interested in us being there. She checked the boxes, but just barely. It felt less like hospitality and more like someone waiting for the end of their shift. What made the whole experience even stranger was looking around the restaurant. It wasn't busy, yet several employees seemed to be standing around talking while we sat waiting. During the hour or two we were there, I think only a couple of other parties came through the door. At one point there were two hostesses managing what amounted to a trickle of guests while tables that were already seated waited on drinks, food, and attention. Maybe there's more going on behind the scenes than I could see, but from where we were sitting, it felt less like they needed more people and more like they needed to use the people they already had a little better. Then came the mimosas. These were less mimosas and more "suggestions of citrus." It was basically champagne with a couple thoughts of orange juice. At one point we had to ask for more orange juice just to get it to the legally recognized definition of a mimosa. They tasted like champagne that heard flavored sparkling water was popular and decided to reinvent itself. There was a whole lot of "mim" and not much "osa." At nearly $14 each, I expected something a little more festive and a little less... chemistry experiment. For food, I ordered the Fried Green Tomato Benny: two biscuits, fried green tomatoes, poached eggs, Cholula hollandaise, and fresh fruit. On paper, that's a fantastic brunch. In reality, it was aggressively average. Nothing was quite hot enough. The biscuits had crossed that invisible line between baked and overbaked, where every bite makes you wonder if they're fresh or just committed to the bit. The whole dish felt like it had spent just a few too many minutes waiting for someone to remember it existed. And then there was the fruit. You know the kind of fruit bowl where every piece somehow tastes exactly the same because it's been sitting in the same juice for hours? That's what this was. Cheap melon, tired grapes, and enough pooled juice to ensure every bite shared the same identity crisis. To top it all off, the Benny was around $18, and the mimosas were pushing $14 each. I'm not going to call it a scam because words have meanings. Nobody tricked us. The prices were right there on the menu. We knew exactly what we were doing. We just expected the experience to justify it. On the bright side, the restaurant looks like it was designed by someone who has never met food, but has definitely met Pinterest. And honestly, it shows. Modern farmhouse, soft lighting, curated everything--it nails the aesthetic. Which is great, because you'll have plenty to look at while everything else catches up. It's funny how common this is now: it's easier than ever to make something look finished. You can polish the surface until it feels complete, even when the inside still isn't. Anyway--great aesthetics. The rest feels like it's still figuring itself out.

It's a Friday night, and I was a little nervous that we'd have a long wait. Taylor took my information and put us in for a table, whatever was first available. We went and sat outside for about 4-5 minutes and got the text that our table was ready! We got seated outside towards the back corner and we were greeted by our server Hayley. We passed on alcohol, but asked what today's flatbread was and it was "taco". Every time we come here, I always want to get the shrimp and crab nachos, where they basically put the same exact thing on 12 perfect tortilla chips, served on a wooden platter. It's perfect, it's always delicious and just large enough so we don't get full. For entrees my parents chose the chicken piccata, and the black and blue burger with a side Caesar salad. I chose to go with the flatbread as an entree, and I knew that the onion rings would be very popular. Asked for a side of the avocado cilantro crema to accompany the onion rings. First of all, the onion rings are seasoned so well, with no dipping sauce or ketchup it's still really crunchy and savory. The flatbread was super crispy, topped with black beans, corn, and seasoned grilled chicken. Really flavorful, and not too large for feeling overly stuffed. My mother normally doesn't finish a burger but she did tonight (sharing some with my father), while sharing a few bites with my dad's chicken piccata and his angel hair pasta and capers. All in all, everything is always fantastic here. Hayley was great about making sure we were happy and had our waters topped off, and all things considered, we were in and out of there within an hour and fifteen minutes tops. Thanks to the team here for yet another great meal tonight! We will be back, this was our 4th qualifying visit so I'm up for a free entree next time I show up! Thanks Hayley for a tasty and quick meal tonight. We enjoyed the food and the service immensely.

On the positive side, the half-order of fish and chips was quite good--just make sure you specifically ask for the authentic, thick-cut British chips, as they really make the dish. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The chicken wings, in particular, were a letdown. They lacked any crunch, and the skin was soggy and slid right off. For the price, I expect a much better-prepared wing--a proper fry to get them crispy before tossing in the sauce would make a world of difference. The pricing overall feels quite high, especially considering the counter-service model. It's frustrating to pay premium prices for a meal where you have to order at the counter. On top of that, the nickel-and-diming for extra ranch is annoying, especially when the quality of the ranch itself was inconsistent in both thickness and taste. To top it off, the service was lackluster; the bartender didn't seem very welcoming and gave the impression that they were doing the bare minimum. It's hard to justify these prices when the quality of the food and the level of service simply aren't there. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. They also got rid of the British shop. So blah!!
