I have been to First Watch a few times and every time it's more disappointing. This time we waited almost 45 minutes to be seated (which was fine because we knew it would be busy) but then once we were seated it took almost 15 minutes for a waiter to come and greet us. Then they brought the wrong drink but instead of trying to correct the order the wait staff just walked away and the waiter didn't pass by for another 15 minutes so we could tell her about the drink issue. The food was mediocre and overpriced, especially the "million dollar bacon".

Food was amazing, the prices were reasonable & good portions. Service was friendly & quick. We found this place while on vacation. After reading the positive reviews we decided to give it a try & we are happy we did. We ordered a few entrees: omelette, waffles and a seasonal dish ( chimichurri steak & egg hash)scrumptious with an amazing savory sauce; a must have. I would definitely recommend.

Usually 1st Watch is a pretty consistent chain. This location is the slowest location I've ever visited. They weren't busy, had plenty of staff, but everything took forever. Our waitress stood in the prep area, never looking up to see if any of her tables needed anything. Food was good, but the service was horrible.

I come to this restaurant every so often for a nice breakfast. I'm not big on breakfast but this place is great - because they have lunch options even for breakfast. :) I've had anywhere from their salads to their skillets...and everything is always top notch and delicious. My son really likes the tomato soup. I do have to say, get there early, because the place has limited hours and it gets absolutely packed. But if you go within the first hour that they open you'll get seating, after that it gets packed.

we arrived and there was a wait line, thinking the food is probably worth the wait, we waited 30 min no problem. Service started off great, I ordered the Chimichurri steak and eggs, once the plate arrived. I noticed I had no steak. I stared separating all the meat I could find and what a disappointment. Only a spoon full of meat. I took pictures for proof. I let the staff know about the absurd portion of the meat. The cook came to us and explained, this is our most complained issue but we are only allowed to serve 3oz of meat. I don't blame any of the staff for their work, but the greed of the management, I ended up getting an omelette instead. Not worth the wait holy crap they definitely deserve the 1 star! More people need to write a review about this issue! Food was below mid.

I came in for a solo breakfast and sat at the bar. I was able to be seated right away even though the restaurant was really busy. To drink, i had the hot chocolate and the purple haze. The chocolate was a bit watery. The purple haze i did not like due to the lavender, but that is just personal preference. To eat I ordered the waffle with chocolate chips, bacon and eggs. It was really good. This place is pretty solid for a good breakfast meal and I enjoy coming here.

I just moved to Florida from the west coast- and wanted a breakfast that reminded me of home. So glad Doral has one of my go to breakfast joints! I visit around 11AM this morning, and the place was definitely a hot spot! I was greeted at the door by a nice guy who asked whether I wanted to sit inside or outside. I chose inside at the bar since I hate waiting! I'm working on patience!!! Once I sat at the bar, Mariana came and cleared up my little area. She was super nice, accommodating and patient! She's actually the reason why this location got 5 stars! She checked on me multiple times and asked if the food was satisfactory. I ordered the Market Hash- delicious! I'll definitely be back!

I have been wanting to try First Watch out for a long time now. I'd heard great things and was glad to discover they were true! My bestie and I went around 10 am on a Saturday morning. It looked packed but we received a 15-20 minute wait time and it flew by. It seemed to get even more packed in that time, so maybe best to come early if possible. The food was good, with a good portion size. We both loved the fresh juices and got the Morning Meditation. Delicious, and looking forward to trying more of their juices. Service was also prompt, polite, and efficient, and I found the prices reasonable. They have a large variety of tempting options, and I will definitely come back to try more on their menu.

My boyfriend and I came here to grab a quick breakfast before heading into downtown to check out some museums! It was Monday morning, so it wasn't too busy and we were able to get a table right away. The server was nice and helpful recommending other spots to go and see while visiting Miami. We ordered the biscuits and gravy & Broccoli Cheddar soup. Both were very good and had no complaints. The restaurant itself is cozy and has the farm to table feel. I recommend stopping in for a good bite to eat!

It's been such a long time since I've been to first watch. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast places. We got the avocado toast which had a generous amount of avocado and the overhard egg on top completed each bite. We also got the breakfast taco which also had some avocados. It had a great flavor and the potatoes are always a good choice when it comes to sides. Another favorite of mine, which I didn't order this time is their biscuit and gravy. It was a great start to the day!

I came here for brunch with my puppy and was pleasantly surprised. They have an outdoor patio so you can eat with your furry kids. The inside gives off cozy, family vibes. The service is pretty quick and the staff is friendly. They have breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. I'd definitely come back to try out other things off their menu.

This was my first time at First Watch and now I understand the hype! We put ourselves on the online waitlist prior to getting there and thank god we did because the line was out the door. Once we arrived we were seated right away in the outdoor patio. Our server (who was so nice) offered us hot coffee and explained the menu right away. My friend got the honey caramel crunch iced coffee which she loved but it was a little too sweet for my taste. I just got a regular iced coffee with oat milk but it hit the spot. For our meals I went with the BLT Benedict but I subbed the bacon for the chicken apple sausage. Which was delicious! Halfway through the meal I noticed they forgot the avocado and our server was so nice about it. She asked if I wanted them to redo the whole meal but of course it wasn't that serious! Instead she brought a plateful of avocado. My friend got the market hash and she said it was so good. The toast that came with this dish was out of this world good and our server let us know you could buy a whole loaf if you wanted! This is definitely a great breakfast spot and I would totally recommend it!

Had a great first visit to First Watch, made even better by our server who kept us laughing throughout the meal. The staff overall was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Honey Chipotle Chicken Hash, which was flavorful, had a nice little kick, and was perfectly filling. Everything tasted fresh and well put together. The surprise hit of the meal was the Honey Caramel Iced Coffee. I was nervous it would be overly sweet, but it ended up being just right for me -- smooth, balanced, and delicious. My only tiny gripe was that the cup was heavy on ice, so it felt like there wasn't much coffee in there. Still, I'd order it again in a heartbeat. One note: when we were first seated, we were offered American coffee. As a first-timer, I wasn't sure if that was complimentary or an extra charge. Personally, I don't love when things that aren't clear end up on the bill, especially if it's not something the table is excited about. Just a note for anyone wondering. Also, coffee selection is not reflective of the community it serves, I was looking forward to having an espresso, colada, or cortadito and none of those are offered. Just a friendly FYI. Overall though, fresh food, friendly service, and a good vibe. I'll be back.

For a place called First Watch their time management is trash. How are you going to be seating people at 2:30 if thats when y'all close? Had to wait an additional 30 minutes due to our name being removed from the list after getting a text saying our table is ready. An hour later the food came in and the hottest food item on my plate was the maple syrup. Need y'all to step it up, shouldn't take an hour to make an avocado toast and two eggs. The hostess needs help too. She's out here looking like 2016 Russell Westbrook averaging a triple double doing all the work. Get her some people to space the floor, they need to be on their game (especially since y'all overbook). Management needs to clean house and sign some people that can run a business. P.S - Don't advertise avocado toast and forget to toast the bread. Nobody wants avocado and regular bread. Texture's off, makes people nauseous. read more

I've been to several First Watch restaurants - the service and food in this location was mediocre at best. My friend returned eggs 2 times. The portions were not as usual. I asked staff for dressing for salad- never got it. It was not a pleasurable experience. Restaurant is beautiful but not the caliber of the others. I recommend going to other location. read more

I've always been a fan of First Watch. I ate breakfast and lunch there a lot back when I lived in Indianapolis. So, when I found out that a branch opened in Doral, I was ecstatic! Although there was a long line outside to get in, my husband and I checked in online and did not have to wait more than a minute. It was a bit loud because it was so busy, but the atmosphere and food was superb. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the staff was very attentive. When we arrived the hostess told us 30-45 minutes. It took an hour, which is fine. We understand that it's hard to predict that. But when we were seated it took 10 minutes for someone to come to the table. When they brought coffee there were no cups. When they brought food there was no silverware. From the time we ordered to the time we got our food was over an hour. The staff lacked detail and customer service. Hope they get it fixed. At 10:13 we were added to the waiting list and our food arrived to the table at 12:15pm. No reason any breakfast spot should take 2 hours read more

Wow!!!! If you have a ticket with multiple people and you pay yours only, the tip amount defaults to the entire ticket. They don't tell you that! I caught it and everyone in my party paid 21 bucks in tip for a $117.00 bill. In other words mine was 18.73, I automatically hit 20% and caught too late it paid 21bucks tip. Everyone else did the same. The lady supposedly refunded it and I'll see it at end of day. Scam!!!! read more

I'm writing this as a disappointed customer. I have gone to other First Watch locations before, and the service I experienced at this particular location was horrible. After being seated at a dirty table (it wasn't wiped down and food pieces were on the table), it took 20mins for our server to greet us. When we were finally able to order food and it took forever and our food was cold when it arrived to the table. We didn't send it back due to the fact it's took so long for us to even get the food. Our server never checked on us once and as I'm currently writing this review it's been 30mins and we still haven't seen our server or check. I don't recommend this location at all. The only reason im leaving a 2 star review is because of the ambience. Once again I'm very disappointed. read more

Great brunch experience! Love the food, no matter what you order it's delicious!! Environment and staff is great! Staff is very friendly and they truly make you feel at home. The testy reminds me of North Carolina, everyone there very friendly and respectful. If you go, you must try their million dollar bacon. It's to die for if you like sweets. I'm so happy that Miami is opening up more of First Watch restaurants. They beat Dennys and IHOP by a long shot! read more

Added our name to the waitlist before arrival. Once we arrived we checked in and we're seated outside in ~10 minutes. The outside patio is nice, however, placed in very close proximity to the trash. Every time the wind passed we would get a smell of sewage, who wants to enjoy food with that smell. After placing our order, a simple avocado toast with two eggs and a power wrap (eggs, veggies, tortilla), we waited 45 minutes with no food in sight. At this point we made the decision to leave. Waiting for a table is one thing, but waiting this amount of time for very simple breakfast food is completely unacceptable. Seems like they need to hire more cooks in the kitchen. Would not recommend this location. read more

I like the menus, in particular 1/2 sandwich and soup. The food is fresh and the quality excellent. The service is pretty good, but they are extremely busy in this location on the weekends. So it takes time to get the meals. Nobody's fault, it is just a busy place. read more

We ate at 1st Watch on our recent visit at Doral. I had the Bacado Omelet and my husband had The Works Omelet. Both dishes were outstanding. Mine was possibly the best I've ever eaten. We go out for breakfast frequently- Sat & Sun for me, & everyday for my husband. So, we have eaten breakfast at hundreds of eateries. Jim very seldom has a bad thing to say about any meal he has ordered out. I, on the other hand, have no problem critiquing a meal. I am not a picky eater, but I am a discerning eater. There is rarely anything on a menu that I would not try, but I want it to be GOOD. I was trying to determine what put my omelet (bacon, avocado, & Monterey Jack) in a class by itself. By the time I finished, I settled on their "Million Dollar" bacon. I am looking forward to visiting the one in Naples, this week. And after checking out their other locations I discovered that there is one very near home in PA- very surprised we did not know it was there. I think because the name does not indicate that it is a restaurant. read more

The food is absolutely awesome and consistent. We come here almost every weekend. The music is also amazing and provides nice ambiance. It's also pet friendly if you sit in the outdoor patio! The only thing I will say is a negative is the wait time. But it's pretty understandable because it's a very popular brunch spot especially on the weekends. If you're not interested in a 40 min wait time I suggest coming really early or during the weekdays. The staff is always very friendly and especially the manager Rolando always recognizes us and is very welcoming. Great brunch spot! read more

The food the ambiance and the service are all top notch. The special bacon is delicious. The pumpkin pancakes were very good. I also recommend the banana French toast I think it's called. I tried the seasonal cornbread which is good they should make it into a staple. read more

First Watch has been a favorite of mine since I visited the Ft Lauderdale by the Sea location. The fact that this new location in Doral is only a few minutes away from my house has made it one of my favorite spots in town. Even though it gets very crowded I always try to get there before 9:00 am to avoid the crowd. The food is as just as good as the other locations I've been too and the service is on par with it. Today we came in a bit late 9:15 but our server Douglas was outstanding and managed to get us all of our weird requests promptly. Even our seconds. Will back for sure to enjoy different dishes on the menu!!! read more

The cups were dirty we were told an hour wait time after being told 20 minutes. The coffee cups had lipstick on it. We went for our friends birthday. And that ruined the WHOLE vibe. They seated a party of 7 at the table we were promised even though they came in after us. We will NOT be back to this location. Customer service and cleanliness not it. read more

Okay so let's start with ambiance: First watch has always been a cute place to eat, however having recently moved to Doral I was ecstatic to see one nearby. I got a traditional breakfast and my eggs were cooked perfectly, which doesn't happen often at restaurants believe it or not. My husband got the Barbacoa Chiquillas Breakfast bowl, as recommended by our server, and it was delicious. We got a belgian waffle as our brunch dessert and couldn't believe that we were even able to take out all that food. The coffee was fresh and rich. Definitely recommend coming with your family for a good quality breakfast. Lastly, service: We were greeted at the door by a lovely lady who sat us fairly quickly for such a busy day. I didn't get her name, but she was very nice. My servers name was Malerie and she was great, was able to answer all my questions and even recommended us some good menu options. She was extremely nice (especially for Miami) and super personable, would definitely be served by her again. The rest of the staff all seemed very nice as well, providing me directions to the bathroom when I was clearly a little lost and even when bringing the food to the table. All in all, I had a lovely experience at this First watch location and will 100% be returning. They seem to get pretty busy on weekends, so you might end up having to wait a little bit before sitting down, but I'm sure on weekdays it is not as packed. Every dish is delicious, and the brewed coffee is delicious with unlimited refills. Always a great experience and staff. The online cue always comes in clutch to beat the crowd. Tried items from their spring menu; that cornbread on their shareables is sooo good! Also, their broccoli and cheese soup was very nice. Love the waffles. read more

Poached eggs were served in a pool of water with runny albumen! Love runny yolks but like the egg white to be cooked, not the gloppy goo I was served. Crab avocado toast and bacon were great and pulled this review up a star. read more
