I have been to First Watch a few times and every time it's more disappointing. This time we waited almost 45 minutes to be seated (which was fine because we knew it would be busy) but then once we were seated it took almost 15 minutes for a waiter to come and greet us. Then they brought the wrong drink but instead of trying to correct the order the wait staff just walked away and the waiter didn't pass by for another 15 minutes so we could tell her about the drink issue. The food was mediocre and overpriced, especially the "million dollar bacon".
Food was amazing, the prices were reasonable & good portions. Service was friendly & quick. We found this place while on vacation. After reading the positive reviews we decided to give it a try & we are happy we did. We ordered a few entrees: omelette, waffles and a seasonal dish ( chimichurri steak & egg hash)scrumptious with an amazing savory sauce; a must have. I would definitely recommend.
Usually 1st Watch is a pretty consistent chain. This location is the slowest location I've ever visited. They weren't busy, had plenty of staff, but everything took forever. Our waitress stood in the prep area, never looking up to see if any of her tables needed anything. Food was good, but the service was horrible.
I come to this restaurant every so often for a nice breakfast. I'm not big on breakfast but this place is great - because they have lunch options even for breakfast. :) I've had anywhere from their salads to their skillets...and everything is always top notch and delicious. My son really likes the tomato soup. I do have to say, get there early, because the place has limited hours and it gets absolutely packed. But if you go within the first hour that they open you'll get seating, after that it gets packed.
we arrived and there was a wait line, thinking the food is probably worth the wait, we waited 30 min no problem. Service started off great, I ordered the Chimichurri steak and eggs, once the plate arrived. I noticed I had no steak. I stared separating all the meat I could find and what a disappointment. Only a spoon full of meat. I took pictures for proof. I let the staff know about the absurd portion of the meat. The cook came to us and explained, this is our most complained issue but we are only allowed to serve 3oz of meat. I don't blame any of the staff for their work, but the greed of the management, I ended up getting an omelette instead. Not worth the wait holy crap they definitely deserve the 1 star! More people need to write a review about this issue! Food was below mid.
I came in for a solo breakfast and sat at the bar. I was able to be seated right away even though the restaurant was really busy. To drink, i had the hot chocolate and the purple haze. The chocolate was a bit watery. The purple haze i did not like due to the lavender, but that is just personal preference. To eat I ordered the waffle with chocolate chips, bacon and eggs. It was really good. This place is pretty solid for a good breakfast meal and I enjoy coming here.
I just moved to Florida from the west coast- and wanted a breakfast that reminded me of home. So glad Doral has one of my go to breakfast joints! I visit around 11AM this morning, and the place was definitely a hot spot! I was greeted at the door by a nice guy who asked whether I wanted to sit inside or outside. I chose inside at the bar since I hate waiting! I'm working on patience!!! Once I sat at the bar, Mariana came and cleared up my little area. She was super nice, accommodating and patient! She's actually the reason why this location got 5 stars! She checked on me multiple times and asked if the food was satisfactory. I ordered the Market Hash- delicious! I'll definitely be back!
I have been wanting to try First Watch out for a long time now. I'd heard great things and was glad to discover they were true! My bestie and I went around 10 am on a Saturday morning. It looked packed but we received a 15-20 minute wait time and it flew by. It seemed to get even more packed in that time, so maybe best to come early if possible. The food was good, with a good portion size. We both loved the fresh juices and got the Morning Meditation. Delicious, and looking forward to trying more of their juices. Service was also prompt, polite, and efficient, and I found the prices reasonable. They have a large variety of tempting options, and I will definitely come back to try more on their menu.
My boyfriend and I came here to grab a quick breakfast before heading into downtown to check out some museums! It was Monday morning, so it wasn't too busy and we were able to get a table right away. The server was nice and helpful recommending other spots to go and see while visiting Miami. We ordered the biscuits and gravy & Broccoli Cheddar soup. Both were very good and had no complaints. The restaurant itself is cozy and has the farm to table feel. I recommend stopping in for a good bite to eat!
It's been such a long time since I've been to first watch. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast places. We got the avocado toast which had a generous amount of avocado and the overhard egg on top completed each bite. We also got the breakfast taco which also had some avocados. It had a great flavor and the potatoes are always a good choice when it comes to sides. Another favorite of mine, which I didn't order this time is their biscuit and gravy. It was a great start to the day!
I came here for brunch with my puppy and was pleasantly surprised. They have an outdoor patio so you can eat with your furry kids. The inside gives off cozy, family vibes. The service is pretty quick and the staff is friendly. They have breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. I'd definitely come back to try out other things off their menu.
This was my first time at First Watch and now I understand the hype! We put ourselves on the online waitlist prior to getting there and thank god we did because the line was out the door. Once we arrived we were seated right away in the outdoor patio. Our server (who was so nice) offered us hot coffee and explained the menu right away. My friend got the honey caramel crunch iced coffee which she loved but it was a little too sweet for my taste. I just got a regular iced coffee with oat milk but it hit the spot. For our meals I went with the BLT Benedict but I subbed the bacon for the chicken apple sausage. Which was delicious! Halfway through the meal I noticed they forgot the avocado and our server was so nice about it. She asked if I wanted them to redo the whole meal but of course it wasn't that serious! Instead she brought a plateful of avocado. My friend got the market hash and she said it was so good. The toast that came with this dish was out of this world good and our server let us know you could buy a whole loaf if you wanted! This is definitely a great breakfast spot and I would totally recommend it!
Had a great first visit to First Watch, made even better by our server who kept us laughing throughout the meal. The staff overall was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Honey Chipotle Chicken Hash, which was flavorful, had a nice little kick, and was perfectly filling. Everything tasted fresh and well put together. The surprise hit of the meal was the Honey Caramel Iced Coffee. I was nervous it would be overly sweet, but it ended up being just right for me -- smooth, balanced, and delicious. My only tiny gripe was that the cup was heavy on ice, so it felt like there wasn't much coffee in there. Still, I'd order it again in a heartbeat. One note: when we were first seated, we were offered American coffee. As a first-timer, I wasn't sure if that was complimentary or an extra charge. Personally, I don't love when things that aren't clear end up on the bill, especially if it's not something the table is excited about. Just a note for anyone wondering. Also, coffee selection is not reflective of the community it serves, I was looking forward to having an espresso, colada, or cortadito and none of those are offered. Just a friendly FYI. Overall though, fresh food, friendly service, and a good vibe. I'll be back.
Looking for breakfast in Doral we reviewed the category on YELP. Many options popped up by none opened at our current time and then we found First Watch We have First Watch in TX so I'm familiar with their quality and this location did not disappoint. I also found some options on the menu I've never seen before I had the healthy turkey, egg white omelet with carrlized onions. Feta cheese, spinach and turkey. Very good - maybe a little more feta inside would have been a fair request. My wife had the million dollar hash which she enjoyed - note its a big portion so be hungry Additionally you have to try their hot honey. They put the right amount of hot sauce in sweet honey for your biscuit - delicious! read more
The best part of my experience I have to say was the service. From hostess to server, the service was friendly and attentive. We had fresh coffee refill on the table without asking. Our server asked me if my bacon was how I wanted or should he take it back ( it was perfect). Our chatty group stayed for at least two hours. We were never ever nudged to move on. I came to First Watch with my mom to have lunch. I asked for the Egg Benedict BLT. I asked for the food not to be assembled because I like my toast to stay very crisp. The food was very good. The hollandaise sauce had a great lemony taste. The food was served promptly. The side potatoes were also very tasty. The dining room and bathrooms were clean. The only problem with the restaurant was the parking lot. We had to go around many times to find parking. read more
OMG! Why did I not come here sooner! I was able to get in quickly (it pays to dine solo) and a great bar seat outside. I selected the Brussel Sprout and Bacon hash from the new fall menu. Chef's Kiss . Thick chunks of potato, 2 eggs to order (don't know about you, but a runny yolk really pulled it together), arugula, bacon, goat cheese, and chili crisp. So SO freaking good! read more
Solid spot for Brunch, there's many options to choose from & something for everyone. It's a nice spot we decided to sit outside due to the great miami weather. Drinks were actually really good, I have to say I got 3 different drinks & enjoyed each of them. I'm sure any other options would've been great aswell. I will say the food is good but nothing out of this world. It's definitely better than any other average breakfast spot. I would say prices are ideal for what you're getting, not overpriced at all. Service was great too. Our server was very attentive & had pretty good menu knowledge, Everything I got was based on her suggestions so she definitely curated our experience. If you're coming here on the weekend, CHECK IN ONLINE. It was our first time coming here, just a party of 2. We were told to sit at the outside bar which was being rained in. We came back in to try to get a seat and suddenly the wait time was 15-20 minutes. We waited 20 minutes then had 2 parties in front of us. At least 10 parties sat down. We checked again and 4 MORE parties were ahead of us. We were informed that people could check-in online and just show up and be seated. This is a terrible system and priority should be given to people who are there in front of you. We waited 35 minutes and after being informed even more parties were in front us, we opted to sit at the inside bar that cleared up. It's very unfortunate that this system overshadows the delicious food. The banana foster French toast was so rich and had plenty of sauce for every bite. The Al pastor egg dish needed more vegetables but it was good. Also the iced coffee already comes sweetened (very sweet) and with cream so order a cold brew if you'd like to dress it yourself read more

First time we tried First Watch and I already want to return. Although parking is tight and limited. Ambiance: The ambiance was great with farmhouse type decor. Great music that wasn't too loud. Service: When we arrived, we were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait, but it ended up being a 10-minute wait. Staff are so nice & cordial. Provided great recommendations. Complementary hot coffee right when you seat, which is nice touch. Their menu selection is excellent. We ordered the following: Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos - a must have! Lemon ricotta pancakes - another must have! Kids french toast with pork sausage Farmhouse Skillet Hash - loved it! Watermelon mint tea - I wasn't a fan of this drink. I will order the Morning Meditation next time. All the food was fresh and not microwaved. Will return! read more

Visited for breakfast on our last day of vacation and we loved it. The wait was shorter than anticipated, service was prompt and the food was delicious. We ordered a side of biscuits and gravy, a side of million potato's, grits, chicken sausage and the chikichanga. We enjoyed everything, very tasty and would recommend! I forgot to take pictures of the food before so if the pics look kinda sad, that's why we were chowing down and I made everybody stop! We also had orange juice which was good as expected! First time at the doral location, parking was easy. Parking directly in front gets full later into the morning but there is a garage. Staff was friendly. Food was good. I did outside seating and only problem was the ants. Ants were crawling on chair, I know that is something out of their control and it didn't bother me. But if you have a problem, ask for inside seating. read more
Noticed Doral opened a new breakfast spot; I had tried this in Sarasota so was excited about. It was so packed that didn't even bother; so decided to take home. I ordered a Multigrain Pancake Plain loved it! The maple they sent not so much but I used my own Niagara Falls Brown Ale Maple so good! Also ordered a Power Wrap and I'm substitution of the Pico de Gallo I switched to Seasoned Potatoes. Wrap was okay nothing out of this world though it looked completely different from their menu picture. I guess if you take it to go in comparison of dining in you don't get the same. Bummer. Seasoned potatoes were extremely burnt unable to eat them! Straight to the trash! I'll try to give it another shot once I'm able to dine in. Let's see read more

4.5 because the coffee was not the best taste for me. I had to use a lot of creamer and sugar to enjoy. Food was fresh, tasty, and great flavor. Service was without delay and pleasant. Ambiance was clean, spacious, and vibrant. The drink was good!! read more

I have not had First Watch in a couple of years - so it has been a while and then I found out there's a new location in Doral and happened to be near by and check it out. The quality of the food, service, refreshments, juices, coffee, everything is served fresh and right on time! This establishment is ran efficiently and most of the time it's a packed house from my previous experience at First Watch locations and this was no different. A pro-tip is to check in online via wait list so you can get a head start waiting in the long lines for your table. This does not guarantee a seat as it says on the fine print but it helps and saves you a ton of time while planning to make your drive to the restaurant. And absolutely love all their egg exclusive dishes from the menu! Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been to a First Watch location yet! read more

Finally get to enjoy a nice delicious breakfast in Doral. The outdoor seating area is so nice and pleasant to enjoy some coffee and relive some stress or have a nice get together. The food is delicious and tasteful as always. Coffee is always fresh and easily available. Service is outstanding and the food is served rather quickly. Congratulations on their grand opening. First Watch is a breakfast restaurant, it has a farmhouse - farm to table like atmosphere. This is the first time I had been to the DORAL location . I got there pretty early around 9 am and there was no wait . They have indoor seating and they have covered outdoor seating with fans which is very nice . I was seated right away within minutes my server came . Christopher who attended to me and my friend was very nice and informative. I ordered the trifecta which came with eggs pancakes and a protein . However I received poatotes on the side I asked of a protein. This restaurant has a lot of options . Whether you are into oatmeal , pancakes , waffles , wraps they have it all. I will definitely come back too try more items on the menu. read more

Are you hungry for some breakfast, lunch or brunch? Look no further, First Watch has just that! This daytime cafe has multiple locations in South Florida, and even across the country - now they are opening their newest location in Doral. If I'm being honest, my first experience at First Watch wasn't necessarily the best, but after being lured by an Instagram ad, I decided to give it a second chance and I'm glad I did! To begin, I decided to order their Morning Meditation drink with orange, lemon, turmeric, ginger, agave and beet - on a normal day, I would never be willing to taste this but I was feeling adventurous, and to my surprise it was very tasty. It had the perfect blend of flavors. For my main course, I ordered the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl, which had been highly recommended to me by two employees. I really enjoyed it; however, I personally really like pesto and I would have like it to be more prominent in the dish. I also had a side of their Fresh Seasoned Potatoes, and they were delicious! All in all, the food was great, the service was quick, my server was friendly and attentive - I can't complain. I'd definitely come back again. read more

Had brunch today at First Watch. The cold brew was strong, nice and cold. The meditation drink was 10/10. We ordered the million dollar bacon for the table, and they were a hit. The brocolli cheddar soup was delicious, as well as the french toast. Everything tasted delicious! Definitely coming back soon for the food. Perfect breakfast spot to go to after a flight. Restaurant was pretty busy around 8am. Service was still pretty quick even with a packed dinning room. I ordered the Floridian French toast and it was delicious. Very light and fluffy with fresh fruit on top. read more

Come with me to First Watch on this visit, I went to their Doral, FL location. To start I had the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee which has become one of my favorites, made with Salted caramel and honey topped with a sweet cream cold foam and toffee crumbles. The combination of these flavors is great and sweet cream foam has a great consistency. As my main I had Biscuits and turkey Sausage Gravy with a side of seasoned potatoes, this dish usually comes with eggs any style, but I opted out on the eggs. The sausage gravy was great and had some spice. The potatoes are well-seasoned and crispy. The service was good and attentive, to ease the long wait times I recommend doing their online check-in. read more
