    Barbacoa Breakfast Tacos
    Elizabeth M.

My new favorite breakfast spot near Tysons! The food was delicious and big portions for the price, and they had a very comprehensive menu with lots of options, as well as summer specials - I found it interesting that they displayed both calories and protein content which was helpful. We were allowed to substitute the black beans side with greens/potatoes/or fruit without extra charge, which was a very nice touch. Service was quick but they do not take reservations so come early on weekends. Will definitely come back!

I hate to base my rating of this establishment on the actions of one terrible server. Me and my sisters decided to stop by First Watch for lunch before going to Tysons for some last minute Christmas shopping. When we entered the restaurant, I said good afternoon with a smile to Jae 3 entire times and she refused to greet me. She simply said "for how many?" Every party after us was greeted by her and asked if they would like drinks. After sitting and eating, we were given our check that we NEVER asked for. She never asked if we were done, etc. we really wanted to try a dessert and planned to order but she just brought us the check... she attempted to pick up our plates which my sister had a whole plate of food.. My sister was obviously not done. she really made us feel unwelcome and rushed. Will not be returning to this location. We generally love First Watch and this is our first bad experience and our first time at this location. Food was good, I got the carne asade tacos. drinks were good, the establishment is clean and so were the restrooms. The place is well kept. Unfortunately, we got the short end of the stick regarding service this day.

Strawberry French Toast, Chimichurri steak and eggs hash

This place was delicious!! I will say, make a reservation if you can on the weekends as they get really busy. We got the strawberry French toast which was delicious. The chimichurri hash was also amazing. It didn't look like a lot of food but it is definitely filling. I also got the caramel crunch latte. Their coffees and juices are delicious. The juices I believe are freshly pressed in-house as well. I highly recommend this place for a quick brunch!

For Father's Day we went to lunch at First Watch. I have heard good things about it, but perhaps it was how busy it was for the holiday that I wasn't impressed with the food. I wanted eggs sunny side up, but, they said they can't crack eggs so I could get scrambled or poached eggs. I got the poached, however only one of the eggs had some runny yolk, the other was a solid yolk. The potatoes were half undercooked, but the ones that were cooked through were good. The toast was good, but also was not toasted enough. I guess they were trying to get more people in and out quickly so compromised the doneness and quality. The coffee was good. We had an appetizer of the million dollar bacon which was also good. I will probably try again on a day that isn't so chaotic busy for them since things will probably be better then

I've been to other First Watch locations and was glad to see they opened a location in Falls Church. It's in the former Whole Foods shopping center and there's plenty of parking so that's always a plus. The staff was very friendly and seemed well-organized even though they're a new location. We received our food quickly, our orders were correct, and they offered us coffee refills. The coffee is tasty, but they somewhat oddly only serve it with room temperature pre-packaged hazelnut or vanilla creamer. Not sure if they have fresh or packaged half and half since I was fine with vanilla, but I'll have to ask next time. I'd recommend they add half and half as an option and offer all the creamers chilled in addition to room temperature. The food was the usual First Watch fare served hot and fresh. The blueberry pancake (yes one since it's the size of the plate and don't get two unless you're truly starving) was as tasty as ever and the bacon and was cooked just right. I did notice this location is nosier than some other ones, maybe due to the high ceilings but it's not a dealbreaker. Prices are a little higher than some other breakfast places but it seems like everything has gone up lately. You can pay your bill on your phone instead of waiting for the cashier so that's a plus when they're busy. This place is a welcome addition to Falls Church and I'll be back again.

I've been to many first watch locations and this one put up a fight for the number one spot! Customer service was amazing and our waitress was so sweet and made us feel welcome , checked on us when needed and gave us time to order because we were chatty patties lol, the food was good and thank you to the chef for not over cooking the potatoes , they were chefs kiss, food was hott and very good and the place was so clean as if I cleaned it myself. Even the restrooms, I walked in and immediately felt comfortable handling my business. The self seating area at this location is the best I've seen so far . Keep up the great work ! When I'm in the area I am definitely going back!

Classic with biscuit & pork sausages

First time, not the last time. Cheaper & more food than Panera & Silver Diner. Very busy on a Sunday morning. With parties more than 2, prepare to wait. They do have free coffee for you while you wait! They need A LOT of help on the biscuits! First, there needs to be more butter on inside of the biscuit and melted butter to finish it on the outside. Second and IMPORTANTLY, never cut the biscuit in half & toast it! Awful! How can I judge the moistness & fluffiness of the inside of the biscuit? Also, the whipped butter needs some salt. Eggs were cooked nice and fluffy. Meat was good. Smoked ham had right amount of salt. Same with pork link sausages. The potatoes were the highlight. Seasoned perfectly with right amount of textures (firm to crispy/crunchy) & the carmelized onions! Cholula hot sauce & their own ketchup are good. $3.99 for large carafe of tasty Columbia coffee. Not GREAT Ethiopian coffee, but still good. Service is corteous and prompt. Team atmosphere. Fair prices. About $30 for 2 people plus coffee before tip. Very fair. Again, the biscuits need A LOT of help! Dinged a star for the sad & bad execution of the biscuit.

This is my first time trying this particular First Watch in Falls Church. I enjoyed it. The service was great. And the food was absolutely delicious.

We like this location and the food. However I asked for hot tea and was told the Rituals tea was the only black tea they now offer. The tea bag sat in the hot water for 15 minutes and never steeped. They then brought out an English breakfast. The servers are all very nice and some recognize us from previous visits and come over and speak to us.

This is the first time I've visited First Watch, and I look forward to visiting the location that recently opened in Asheville, NC. We enjoyed an exceptional Avocado Toast for an appetizer, then I ordered the Healthy Turkey for a light lunch while my husband ordered The Works. We were both delighted by the side of strawberry jam, they offer a truly an excellent menu! Our server (and the bartender), Michelle treated us to complementary shots of the Kale Tonic, which we'll add to the next order. Every staff member was pleasant and offered a genuine smile.

I think this location is new, but been to plenty of other locations before. This is the first one I've been to with a bar. Located in a strip mall shopping center so plenty of parking. This place is super packed so be sure to call ahead. Food is wonderful as usual and the service is always excellent!

Went here for breakfast on a Sunday. It was not too crowded and we were able to sit right away. By the time we left, the restaurant was completely full. They have a large menu with lots of healthy options (gluten free toast option was a plus). The power wrap was delicious as well as the blueberry pancake. Very nice and attentive waitress. Would definitely come back!

The only downside of the experience is at the end when the waiter was boxing up all the food for us. Very sweet that they do this but when boxing up my partners food, they only boxed up the rice and they got rid of the lamb that he was looking forward to eating more of later. So that was kind of a disappointment for us. I think if we go again, we would request to box our food ourselves since I'm not sure why they decided to get rid of all of his lamb.

The waiter was very courteous, very reserved and very well dressed in mannered. Despite this, he was also very entertaining and fun. He recommended we give the Father's Day special a try which included a select few meals along with appetizer and dessert options all for one price. There was also a special cocktail available only for Father's Day: a maple bacon and bourbon whisky. After placing our orders, I went with the crab bisque, which was okay, I'm not normally a fan of seafood and was attempting to try something different. I ended up with the 6 ounce filet mignon which included a rosemary glaze along with grilled asparagus, a loaded baked potato, and creamed corn with bacon. I also added the blue cheese butter topping to my steak, which was very great. The overall meal was amazing. The steak was nice and juicy and very tender.
