Absolutely amazing service and food. Highly take the time to relax and stay a bit. Cute place with great food and people!

So I see my son already put in a review of our visit today. While I agree with everything he said I'd like to add this small piece. While we were at the front trying to pay and get the heck out of there we had our waitress arguing with us. She kept repeating it's not my fault as if this made everything ok. I replied if you had communicated with us it would've helped. I also said while she was arguing in front of a crowd of people excuse me but I'm the customer. I also didn't appreciate her putting up her finger to me with an angry look like I was a child being told to be quiet. On the whole it was a humiliating experience and something I haven't been through before and hopefully won't be again. While the food is good it's not that good to warrant that kind of treatment. I won't be returning obviously. Nell you might be better suited in another occupation. read more

It is sad that the quality of the food has deteriorated so much. Maybe it is yet another negative effect of the pandemic. On two consecutive occassions they failed to cook a poached egg properly for eggs Benedict and the gluten free bread was just taken out of the freezer, defrosted, warmed up and thrown on the plate under the eggs. They comped the breakfast so that was a positive. We hope they can get things together since we like this place. Service is good though and manager and server cared about the situation and tried to make it right. read more

First Watch has amazing food. The farmhouse skillet is so delicious. I love that they use local ingredients and free range, etc. Grrat quality at a great price. My teen son loves the tomato basil soup and my daughter loves the pancakes. They are super yummy and fluffy. read more

SAD JUST SAD. This was by far the worst meal /experience we have had since moving to the Franklin / Nashville area. To top it off it was my birthday dinner. Duck was dry as a bone, way over seasoned and very small approx 4 bites, the greens very bitter and the potatoes were mush. They replaced the duck leg with an extremely underwhelming second attempt. Everyone at the table said their meals were a bit below average. My husband called and requested something special for my birthday. They slammed a candle in my desert and slapped it down in front of me. To say the least this was a one and done restaurant we will never go back to. Save your money try an amazing restaurant called The Red Pony in Franklin for a truly amazing meal and friendly experience. Worst birthday dinned ever. read more

Took a group here to celebrate a friend's bday. We were a very high maintenance bunch but the staff didn't bat an eye. They took great care of us even after we asked to switch to a patio table in the shade. The food was exceptionally good and the waitress was very accommodating so we did her right. Love this place and we'll be back for sure. read more

We were so excited to see First Watch was open again!!! We ordered our usual trifecta with a few extras! We don't even need a menu as we have always eaten at First Watch at least once or twice a week since they opened. They were all practicing social distancing and paper menus, etc... It makes me sad to see the workers have to wear masks, as they are dangerous, not getting enough oxygen, and their hands are on their faces a lot more because they have to keep adjusting the mask or take it off briefly to breathe, etc.... which is more dangerous for customers, as if they didn't have on masks, they wouldn't be touching their faces so much, and then our food, plates, silverware, etc... I hope they can discontinue the masks after this week!!! Food was good, as it always is, so be sure you give them the business they deserve to get this country back to being great again!!! :) read more

The food here was sooooo good! I had a homemade turkey breakfast sausage and egg whites and tomatoes. Soooo good! The place was packed and considering that, the service was pretty good. Our waitress was on top of water refills and coffee. My kids loved it too. We will defiantly go back! The only thing I would say (and this is nit picky I know) is that the food was great. Very current and on trend. Had the whole elevated homemade thing going on... So, the decor seemed a little Disconnected to the food. It reminded me of a Denny's or something. The fake plants and upholstered chairs were just not complimentary of the image the food put out. But like i said, the food was great and I will b back For sure! read more

My wife and I usually have a hard time getting in because it's so packed but strangely on Easter we missed the rush and was seated right away. My wife got this healthy drink that was great and the matcha pancakes that was equally as good. The waitress was very warming and attentive. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with the million dollar bacon. Couldn't be happier with the food and the side potatoes were great. Definitely a spot I'll try again when back in Franklin. read more

The last few times we have been to this location, we have told ourselves we wouldn't be back, and today was another disappointment. The family of 4 which was seated after us were finished eating before we got our food. And they had food which looked like it should've taken longer to prepare than ours, so I guess our server forgot to ring it in??? When we finally got our food, one of our kid's crepes was black/burned, I'm not sure why they even served it to us. We saw our server once after taking our order, and that was to drop off our check. Other servers brought our food, including the remade crepe. Oh, and we never got the sides of toast which come with the kids' crepes, or refills of drinks. Just a poor experience. The food tasted good, though... that's why I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1. read more

I have had nothing short of 5-star service/food each and every time I've dined. I live in Florida, and the waitress Deb knows me by first name. Knows exactly what I want (Tri-fecta), and even came out to my car one morning, and served me a to-go cup of coffee, because I was unable to go inside, since I had my dog. This place is fantastic, and will continue to get my service, when I fly-in. Pro Tip: Their community tables are a quick way to get served! read more

One pitiful star simply based on the customer service. Kameron was our server and she was short, no "hello", just rude. Tossed our ticket on the table and walked off. Had a really bad experience at first watch today. We were seated in 5-10 minutes which was fantastic because every time we've gone it's been on a busy weekend and takes at least 20. We sat down and waited at least 20 minutes for someone to get our drink orders. Nell the waitress came over and took out order and after Nell had brought out coffee and my mums drink she took our food order and then we waited at least 45 minutes. We were waiting patiently because we were talking and the wait didn't bother us but no one said anything about our order and we noticed the table behind us which was seated later than we were had already finished and we were still waiting on our food. We tried to get Nells attention who was busy helping someone bus a table but she had passed us a few times without saying anything to us. So my mum tried to get her attention when Nell put her finger up and said hold on. Then she proceeded to walk around to us and asked what we needed and when my mum asked how long before the food was out she said they were backed up in the kitchen it should come out soon and that was what her manager told her as she asked if we wanted her to bring her manager out to talk to her. My mum just wanted to know when it was coming out and we didn't want to talk to a manager we were just hungry. 45 minutes was a long time to go without anyone talking to us. We were about to walk out because we didn't know what was going on until she brought out 2 plates of food from the kitchen that was not ours and was ready to place them on the table. We said that we didn't order those as she then took them back to the kitchen to find ours. At this point we were just hungry so we went back to the counter so we could pay for our coffee and my mums morning meditation (I think it was called that anyway). Nell had then come out and asked us if we wanted a to go box for the food she just brought out (as we were walking out) and we declined because we were already frustrated with the lack of communication between the server and us when Nell starts screaming at us that we were only there 30 minutes! This was horrible because my mum was just a frustrated customer trying to get service and Nell just keeps screaming that 'they were backed up in the kitchen' 'you were only there 30 minutes' 'it's not my fault'. (Btw yes we were at the front by the hosts counter and she was screaming at my mum in front of customers waiting and people eating). I know serving is definitely a hard job and they did look like they were backed up but that's definitely not a way you handle the customers who pay you for this service. The manager came out shortly after and apologized. She offered to let us go without paying for the coffee and drink and to still box up our food which we declined but it was still a nice gesture. I do not appreciate someone yelling at my mum in front of a bunch of people in a place we had frequently gone to and had a great time. Although the manager did sort us out in the end We will not be coming back. read more

This place was awesome! I had the Chickichanga, and it was really flavorful and just the right portion size. My wife had the Bacado omelet and it was perfectly prepared and really tasty. Our server was very attentive, and filled water and green tea without being asked and was very friendly and very deserving of her tip. We really enjoyed our meal and I'd come here for breakfast every day, if I lived in Franklin. read more

This was my fourth trip to this location. Every time the service has been mediocre. Restaurant was maybe a third full and took me three or four minutes to be seated. Staff walking by looked and kept going. I had the Monterey club and white chicken chili. Sandwich was good and the chili isn't white and really more of a soup than a chili. Had the strangest taste and not in a good way. I definitely would never order it again. read more

We had delicious food and great service at First Watch. We ate Sunday brunch on their Cool Springs patio because it was more peaceful than inside the restaurant. The coffee was dark and fresh and the Nutella French Toast my hubby ordered was divine. I almost never finish buttered toast, but I wolfed down the buttered toast served with my omelette. Everything was fresh and served up with little wait. We'll be back. read more

The food is consistently excellent, but a few months ago the service went downhill. They used to have coffee ready as soon as you sat, but that has not been the case lately. Avoid this place for breakfast. I know First Watch - dining with them in other cities. Dining alone, I was looking forward to their normally great Avocado Toast. Understandably busy, yet horribly understaffed, I was sat at a picnic style communal table (with others)- that wasn't an issue. What was an issue - is sitting at a communal table where other folks are getting served, and I'm getting ignored. No offer for coffee or water, no offer to take an order, simply ignored. After 15 full minutes I'd call that bullsxxx. My recommendation would be to avoid this place - there are other fine breakfast options locally who are happy to pay attention to a single diner, take my money. Last Call For First Watch??? I used to love this place, but the prices have gone up and portions have gotten smaller. You order sausage and they give you ONE sausage link. I have gone here by myself for breakfast and easily racked up a bill for $17 and I don't eat that much! The food has always tasted good and the service has been okay. I have switched to Waffle House...I basically order the same thing and the bill is $6-$8. The food is just as fresh there and prepared well. read more
