    Veggie omelette with home fries
    Jacquetta P.

My company recently moved into the same building. I was extremely excited to see this cafe on site. I noticed they stay pretty busy, so naturally assumed they would be good. I've had the fish hoagie with chops and a veggie omelette with home fries well done with onions. Both were pretty good and I'd definitely order again.

The food options are wonderful and for an extra treat - try their homemade ice cream. Much of their in ingredients come from local farms and producers. My friend tapped her card before I could review the order on the screen, so we didn't know about the mistake until they brought out our food. The employee refused to swap out the side because he said it was my mistake, and he told me if I wanted fries I'd have to pay for them. I shrugged it off and placed a new order since my husband wanted them. $7 for a side order of fries! This whole interaction really put me off. I'm still giving them 4 stars because generally the employees are friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food is good. My husband loves the chicken and waffles. Their desserts are really hit or miss: the cinnamon rolls are really dry and the ice cream just tastes like sugar to me. But the mixed berry chocolate cake they had last month was fantastic.

Everything my fellow diner and I got was good, but I have to give two big shout outs: the soup flight, and the shrimp and grits! First of all, soup flights are my FAVORITE THING EVER and I don't know why more restaurants don't offer them! You get to pick your soups here, and every one of them was delicious and came out in a shooter with a spoon. Just fantastic! The shrimp and grits are possibly the best I've had in Maryland. Service came with a smile, and it was easy to detect their commitment to guest satisfaction. Although seating is limited, staff efficiently managed to accommodate our group of five by combining tables and chairs within the available space. We spent three-days in Baltimore and would have probably eaten here every day had time permitted. Note: The O'Rave Burger, which is a homage to the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens, consists of a blended pork and beef patty. Guests observing dietary restrictions concerning pork should be advised accordingly.

This place is definitely one of the best cafes I've ever been to and I've been to hundreds between NY, LA, and Miami... My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Sunday morning, and while it was understandably very busy, we were still able to find a seat. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight -- it has a warm, inviting feel that makes it a great spot to relax, grab a bite, and enjoy a slow morning. The bagel sandwiches were so-so, and unfortunately the bagels themselves were a little underwhelming. For the price, we expected a bit more. The coffee was also a miss for us; it was very watery, and we ended up grabbing another coffee from a nearby shop afterward. Overall, Mindpub is a great place if you're looking for a cozy atmosphere, a baked good, or a casual sandwich in a charming setting. The space and vibe are excellent, but the food and coffee left a little to be desired.

It's a smallish space and indoor seating was really full at 11 AM on a weekday. Because of rain, the outdoor benches were not in use, and I saw closed-up patio-umbrellas too. I ordered from a kiosk or you could order online or in person. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was made quickly by welcoming staff. It was a regular size croissant with very light cheese and a layer of crispy bacon pieces in a well toasted croissant. The flavor was good. This café also sells a number of beverages, including fresh ground espresso, and various teas And they sell some bakery goods, candies, and quite a variety of dry-packaged teas and coffee. The parking right in front Café Jun can get pretty full, but there's plenty parking in the rest of the shopping center. You can enter the shopping area from eastbound US-40 Baltimore National Pike, or from westbound Frederick Road. It's just east of Centennial Lane/Bethany Lane and about a mile West of US 29. The larger shopping area has a diner 3-strip mall sections, one of which is called Princess Shopping Center, so I'm a little confused which mall-name covers which shops. They have a summer concert planned! That should be fun!

People do seem to respect the 90MIN seating window though so you should be able to find a seat. You order and pay at the counter first and then they give you a table number card. This is how they find you to serve your food. I ordered a regular matcha latte, a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on croissant bread and their famous croffle. I loved their matcha latte. It's pre-sweetened so no need to add extra vanilla syrup or anything. This does not taste like a traditional matcha, which in my opinion tastes like dirt. This is a sweeter, dessert like matcha. I didn't care for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was kind of dry and it tasted like something was missing. The croffle was amazing. It has a nutty, pecan like taste to it and it was topped with vanilla gelato and blueberries. I couldn't really taste the maple syrup but it was delicious nonetheless.

So the flight was for different ice lattes paired with a pastry, which was a croissant a Blondie brownie, a macaroon and lastly.strawberry cake for $25. It took a while for the flight to be prepared because I think they're a little bit shortstaffed on a Monday morning, but they had a lot of comfortable places to sit and wait. The corn beef sandwich came out good and I mentioned it was simple because it's literally just corn beef with some white bread and some cheese, but it was actually pretty tasty for breakfast. The coffee flight came out and it's on a large paddle and it looked really delicious. I have to say the regular flavored lattes and the croissant weren't my favorite choices, but as I started moving down the paddleboard towards flavored lattes and the Blondi bar, it was pretty good. My favorite latte was the butter beer and my favorite pastry actually turned out to be the Blondie brownie bar. The inside has enough seating for about 50 people and it's really cutely decorated. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the mood for a coffee after a day of shopping in Ellicott city.

There were 6 of us, and they were able to put two tables together to accommodate us. I was overall disappointed with the food. The waffle which I paid $5 for was super small and there were just chunks of sugar in it. I also ordered scrambled eggs with spinach and cheese. The spinach came out on the side of the eggs and was uncooked. The cheese was not melted, and the eggs were burnt (dark brown and dry). The waitress was kind enough to take the eggs back for the cheese and spinach to be mixed/melted. They were still burnt and flavorless. I picked around and ate what I could. I also ordered some kind of spinach and feta pastry from the front case, which was good. We also all enjoyed the homefries which were crispy with a unique seasoning. We ordered the stuffed french toast which had a great flavor, but it wasn't really stuffed, there were just toppings on it. My nephew ordered the chicken and waffles. He's 15. I'm guessing that waitress assumed he was a kid and gave him the kids portion. Either way, the fried chicken looked like two pieces of frozen chicken schnitzel. My mother ordered the Reuben and did not like it at all because it lacked flavor.
