Waited for 15 minutes, mind you, on a slower day for this restaurant that wasn't even half full, and no one stopped by to take our drinks or place an order. As we walked out we let the hostess know, mind you in a gentle/kind way, that we weren't approached by any of the servers and they just say oh sorry. And they simply left it at that. An unfortunate but great example of today's lack of training, professionalism, and customer service. read more

Our first time here and the ambience was nice. Love the outside waiting area. We went around 12pm and used the waitlist on their website (love this idea). The food was okay, nothing too crazy. I gave it a two star because service was lacking. No hospitality in the service. Our server seemed nice but never told us her name, only saw her twice (to take our order and give us our check), she never asked if we wanted any water refills and when we asked for a Take out box she never came back with it. So we had to ask someone else. I totally understand that it could have been busy but maybe a little of effort would be nice. read more

I will go easy being a brand new local restaurant that I'm familiar with via the East Coast. From a managerial standpoint & perspective; they are severely understaffed. 1.5 hour wait today for breakfast, in which understandably I chalked up to being the new kid on the block however, once inside, I was able to evaluate from an operational level and there just isn't any sense of urgency or direction from management. Everyone is stuck in first gear, tables remaining dirty for 10-15 min at a time, delaying the flow and attributing to the colossal wait time. Service is good, food is phenomenal, but operationally this venue needs serious attention. Staff accordingly; smaller sections, more staff, MORE BUSSERS. Someone needs to encourage the staff to move more efficiently and effectively. I never once saw a manager. As a GM, I'm always intertwined with service; leading my team, interacting with guests, and driving service. With time, I feel this place can iron out the wrinkles with the proper guidance. I was very excited to go here for the first time not too long ago. Everything was great to begin with until our food came out. My husband ordered the Chili Chorizo Omelet which had mixed greens on the side and sour cream on top. He noticed there was something very dark in the sour cream which at first glance looked like it could be a dark leaf from the salad mix. Very cautiously he looked at it closely and said, "I don't think so?.." Called the server over and she stated it was a leaf as well. He pulled it out in front of her and stretched it. It was about 2 inches without being stretched of the finger part to a rubber glove. She apologized and the manager brought a new remade dish shortly after. However, all she did was drop it off and said, "Sorry." I was thinking that if you wanted us to come back and give you another try, at least give us a discount or free appetizer for another time? Oh, he did get a free muffin during his wait and it was taken off the bill rightfully. I was just disappointed because I loved the atmosphere and my food was good especially the iced coffee. I feel super bad because I work in the service industry and it really takes a lot for me to leave a negative review. I have a lot of empathy for restaurant staff, so I try to give patience and grace. But this was just not it. We were promptly seated by a server that seemed to also be hosting / seating. We asked to sit outside and we got a cute little patio table for my husband and I. Well, after about 20 minutes, three different servers had made eye contact with me and either kept walking or went to another table. No greeting, no "I'll get a server for you, No "I'll be right with you," or even some waters. I finally went and asked the woman that had seated us what was going on because we hadn't been greeted yet. And it really wasn't that busy. She was dumbfounded and took it upon herself to come take her order when she didn't have to. That's why I gave two stars instead of one. Well, when a server saw that she was taking our order she came up behind her and rather than apologize to us she just told her thanks for taking the order and walked off. Our actual server did eventually come over and say our food would be right out. I was hoping the food would save the day. I got a soup and sandwich combo which was very mediocre and very small portioned. I had also ordered the million dollar potatoes without bacon because I'm vegetarian and they came out covered in it. When I asked the server if I could get another one, she seemed confused and said that she could "probably" get that fixed and that we "probably" wouldn't get charged. Very strange. My new potatoes came out quickly but they were extremely salty and almost inedible. My husband got a basic Benedict and said his food was overly salty as well. Our apparent server really only checked on us one time to drop the check and told us we could pay with the QR code. Absolutely no personality or apologies. I really wanted to love this place. I had seen so much enticing content from other locations in other states. I would possibly try another location that's more established and just hope for the best for this newer location. My husband and I tried the eastern avenue location for the first time. Our waitress was friendly, but wrote my order down wrong. Rather than wait for the upgraded version of the french toast with the strawberries, I kept and ate the lesser version. Our food was tasty, but the shock came at the register. Instead of totaling both meals and then adding the tax, each meal was totaled and taxed separately and then added together and taxed again. The grand total was offered up for tip calculation. We were taxed on the taxes and asked to tip on those doubled taxes. This isn't right, guys! We will eat our breakfasts somewhere else. read more

I love the atmosphere, the service was excellent. The coffee was so delicious. It was the First Watch pot and I love that they leave it on the table so that you can top off your coffee whenever you want. I also appreciated that they have the flavored coffee creamers. Mmmmm! I ordered the Eggs Benedict with seasoned potatoes (it comes with greens but you can substitute potatoes and I highly recommend that) and my friend got the breakfast sandwich. I wasn't in love with the eggs Benedict just because even though it was good, it's not as good as my favorite breakfast spot. I would say the hollandaise sauce was a bit too runny otherwise this would have been a five star review. However, there were other items on the menu that I definitely can't wait to try. I loved it there and am very interested in the yummy juice drinks that they have. We saw them go by and they all looked amazing. I was definitely on a coffee fix and enjoyed the coffee very much, but I will definitely try the omelet next time and some of the juice drinks. I would definitely recommend this place. Ambiance is nice. The food was ok. The omelette fillings were very skimpy. The pancakes, however, were huge.

Had the salmon eggs benedict. The egg yolks were fully over cooked, completely solid not runny at all. The bread was super hard to cut and stale. Overall there was just no flavor and super disappointed with the lack of quality control. The side salad was nice though. My friend got the chickichanga and it was super mediocre plus had a hair in it. The waitress was kind enough to comp that dish. The steak chimi churi bowl was the best dish we had. The only thing I would change is that it was extremely salty coming from a salt lover. Wanted to love the lemon blueberry corn bread but it came out dry and cold. Good flavor though. My partner had the tres leches french toast and he said it was just ok, as a mexican he did not see how it was "tres leches" so the advertisement was a bit misleading. There was no wow factor with our breakfast the omelet had a large pile of arugula stacked on it and the million dollar bacon (bacon drizzled with syrup) was another disappointment. I have been to this restaurant 5 times now. The first and second times it was great. Great service and food. But since then (Jan 25) it has down downhill. The last 3 visits the service was awful and food has declined. Unfortunately the last visit the waitress didn't even come by for 10 minutes. This happened the last three times I've been there. The blueberry cornbread was served cold with a ball of butter that couldn't melt. When I told the waitress she just shrugged and brought it to the kitchen to get it microwaved. This caused it to get overcooked.. not at all like my other experience on Jan 25. The special hash breakfast (which was fabulous twice before) was half the size it used to be and cold too. This restaurant has great potential, but I think is getting too big too fast. They want to open lots more in town- I hope the management improves because it could be amazing. read more

We arrived at 7am when they opened and we were seated right away. Unfortunately, the first impression was the booth seats were dirty with food from the day before and one of the coffee cups that sat on the table appeared used. They offer coffee right when you sit down which is a nice touch but they charge $4 per cup (for black coffee). I wanted to try the fresh green juice but was told that they didn't have any ready so early. Ummm what?? We were there for 45mins and they still didn't have it ready. The food was just okay and they didn't offer many options for those of us that are gluten free. The server was not very educated on the menu. Overall, the visit was uninspiring. We had the chance to eat here during their Soft Launch and WOW! We will definitely be returning here. Fabulous staff, everyone was so helpful and kind, and everything was very clean. Plus, you can even see strip views from your table! The food was exceptional and tasted very fresh. We got the lemon ricotta pancakes (highly recommend!), the market hash, and the chilaquiles - all were 10/10. Today was the first time that I've tried this new restaurant in my neighborhood. They are relatively new here and are probably working out some of the bugs with ordering supplies I guess so I'll give them a little benefit of the doubt. The menu offerings offered a wide variety from breakfast items to healthy salads and sandwiches. I went to order the half sandwich with a cup of soup the turkey club with avocado and bacon. I told the server that's what I would like to have with the cup of soup, which was a tomato basil and I was told oh I'm sorry we don't have any more soup which would've been nice if it had been mentioned before I got excited about having it.. then I said well I guess I'll just get the full club sandwich on sourdough which she then replied. Oh I'm sorry we are out of sourdough. She said we only have whole-grain bread left. It would've been nice to have been informed of that before I was looking forward to it. Then she said, let me go check and see if there's any more soup, after she already told me there was no more she came back and said oh yes, we have enough of the tomato basil soup for a cup of soup so I decided to order the sandwich on the whole-grain bread with the cup of soup. The sandwich was delicious, and so was the soup except it was lukewarm at best. I asked my server if she could heat it up maybe throw it in the microwave for 30 seconds she said we don't have a microwave, but I'll see what I can do. She took the soup back. Then she brought it back five minutes later and it wasn't that much warmer. She did check and I said it's fine because I didn't wanna waste any more time having her take it back to the kitchen again so for that only three stars for this restaurant, but I imagine as the service and supplies improving in the future their star rating could be higher. read more

Today was my second visit to this restaurant the first visit I ordered a frittata it was terrible I don't know how the chef could prepare such a terrible item they don't know how to make frittata the million dollar bacon is not worth the money it's way too spicy and Sauced up the same with the million dollar potatoes this place tries to get fancy and they don't know how I visited a second time and I ordered a Cobb salad usually a Cobb salad gets chicken this one was supposed to get turkey but when they served it to me there was no turkey I had to order turkey from another server and they brought to me in a cup the salad in and of itself was poorly presented my friend had the Floridian French toast which was good I had some buttered grits which were good and iced tea which was good I ordered a pineapple drink for my girlfriend which they ran out of the service was subpar the waitress didn't know what to do definitely not a good place they won't last read more
