First time going to First Watch! It was AMAZING. The Superfood AM bowl is the best thing I've ever tasted. I love that right as I walked in we were seated. They were busy but didn't make us wait. They were efficient! The kale salad and the avocado salad are the bomb. I can't believe I took so long to try this place. They deserve 5 stars for their service & quality of food. Only one of our orders came out. Despite numerous questions and inquiries the BLT eggs Benedict for husband came out much later leaving my food cold. Yesterday was my first visit to any First Watch restaurant. All I can say is "wow"! I was pleasantly surprised with this establishment. I don't eat meat or chicken. Generally, these sorts of places are short on vegetarian dishes. I ordered a Market Veggie sandwich. OMG! I've traveled around the world and that sandwich was one of the best I've ever eaten...who knew? I'm happy they came to my neighborhood, I could eat that sandwich everyday however, I'll try to control myself.. read more

My daughter and I were very excited about the new first watch in Hollywood so we went there one Saturday and I was so so disappointed. Once we were finally seated the waitress came over and took our orders (you know it's always busy) and we started seeing other people get their food first finally after 40-35 minutes someone came over and said the waitress forgot to put our ticket in , then the morning medication drink was pulp with beet juice sitting on top. Horrible service, although the manager was nice and took care of our ticket I still left feeling disappointed. I'll stick to the first watch in Pembroke Pines. read more

Food is good if you can finally get to it... we are locals but on every visit the service was painfully slow, disorganization in the front (where do you give your name) and even when we tried to use the "no wait" app..it said zero wait in the parking lot and at the door there were 15 confused customers....we walked out again. The food may have been great at this location, but I won't know because I couldn't get on the wait list. I called the location to find out about getting a reservation and was told to do it on the app. I already have the app so I tried but they showed a zero wait time so the app would not let you "get in line". I called back 4 times and got hung up on. Finally on the 5th try the girl hastily answered and said they would update the app....they never did so we turned around and went to the plantation location. I recommend the one in Plantation. I placed my name on the app. When I arrived I had the worse greeting from the hostess. I waited another 15 minutes once I arrived, although their were 5 empty tables. He pointed after I waited 15 minutes to where we should sit. No smile, no feeling of wanting to return. The cups were dirty, though you can tell they were cleaned the cups still had stained old lipstick. Absolutely disgusting. I usually go to the Sea Ranch Center off of commercial but I wanted to give this new place a try. Doesn't look like I'll be returning. read more

Maybe they were understaffed or too busy but it was not a good experience. After waiting 20 minutes the text that our table was ready came and then we stood at the hostess stand 5 minutes before we were acknowledged and seated. Ten more minutes to see our server and get coffee and water. We placed our order. And then we waited. The waiter said our order was two tickets away. Ten more minutes I found the manager who was seating people and asked if she could check on our food. 53 minutes after we sat down the manager brought our food. No apologies just sat it down. The Bacardi omelette was excellent. You need to request potatoes but they are included. They were a bit spicy. The toast was a whole Grain toast and very good. The sunrise bowl was a disappointment- cantaloupe and grapes instead of strawberries and blueberries. The waiter was swift to bring our check! All in all we still love the food but would avoid this location. read more

First Watch has been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time. When I saw this one open close to home I was super happy. Their food is always fresh, I love their kale tonic and the service is excellent. Check in on the app before going in. Weekends the wait is very long because of course that's what happens when the food is great! read more

Worst First Watch experience I've ever had! Beautiful location but service is terrible. Waiter never introduced himself just asked if we were ready to order. Took 30 minutes for our food to come out. A plate of food was dropped and had to be remade, side of bacon came out 15 minutes after our food was already placed. Asked for additional creamer for coffee which never came. Eggs were over cooked and once the bacon came out it wasn't cooked enough. Our server Bryan never asked how our food was and just asked if were we good while removing our half eaten plates. We will never go back to this location.. thankfully we don't live in Hollywood, Florida. read more

I love going to first watch. It's one of my favorite places. But this first watch need help. I want to have breakfast by my self and was greater quickly, seated right away and met by my waiter in a timely fashion. I placed my full order and then waited. I got my Oder of tea with the assortment of teas but no black breakfast tea my water had already been poured and I had no tea to place in the cup. I finally caught someone's attention and they bought me a couple. After a longer than normal wait later I received my breakfast. My eggs over easy were eggs over well done. But I didn't bother complaining. Figured they were getting busy. So I proceeded to look for salt for my eggs and needed syrup for my waffle. Neither on my table. I caught the eye of a water after about 3 minutes and asked for the them. Said he be right back. Never did see him again. So I sat there with a plate full of food and watched people walk past me and never make eye contact. After about 10 minutes I finally got someone to see me (Please note my waiter hadn't come back yet) and asked for the salt and syrup. Finally after my food was cold I got what I needed. At the beginning of my meal I had also asked for a to go order. It was already on my bill, the only reason the waiter came back to the table to give me my bill, but didn't get my order. So I went to pay. Told them I was waiting on my to go order that I placed at least 30 minutes ago. Now I'm waiting another 20 minutes for my to go order. I know I should have probably made some noise and complain but i just didn't want to. Finally I got my order and left and will never again return to that first watch. Avoid at all costs if wanting to sit in one of their 3 broken tables!! Sugar packets work for an unstable table normally, but not here as the center table top leg moves around the sturdy base. As evidence by frustrated patrons before us there were straws, folded menus in an attempt to a top it from whirling around; even the toothpicks I tried to lodge in the slender space wouldn't stay in:-( when the other two tables cleared out, husband checked other two tables and they were exactly the same)! We absolutely love First Watch and sought out this location because of outside seating. Sorry to say the outdoor service was terribly bad as we watched other diners keep asking for their servers also. Management needs to order outside tables and set up better training for servers at this location. This chain is our favorite for breakfast and lunch, never have written a poor review but this was warranted. read more

This place has really good quality food. I went on a Sunday and wait time was crazy, but we finally got a seat at the community table. It was great talking with everyone about the food. Been here 3 times to take my mom to lunch. We have had the same amazing server every time. Food is always amazing. The service is always the best here. Our servers name was muchie. NOT celiac or gluten-friendly. Staff is not knowledgeable. I asked the server what gluten-free options there were because I have celiac disease. He consulted in the kitchen and said they can only offer me eggs or GF toast. I ordered scrambled eggs and the plate came out sprinkled with pancake flour. Needless to say I did not eat breakfast. I've tried coming to this new location several times and the service has been atrocious. I tried to see past it, as it is a new location and the workers/servers are still getting familiar with the new area and clientele. My visit today put me off 100%. I was told to stand at the door and wait to be seated by the young lady at the register. When the next host came up to seat guest she went directly to the people who had just walked in past me, never addressed me. When I told her I came in before them she acted as if she didn't hear me. Then with all the open tables around that were clean, she sat us at a table with a tray left from cleaning. We sat down (my sister and I) for about 15mins before getting up and leaving because we had not been acknowledged. No water, no coffee, no hello from ANYONE. Yet still we walked out unaddressed. I don't like how this place made me feel today and I don't believe I'd go out of my way to eat there, which is unfortunate because the North Miami and Sunrise locations were the reason I kept going back. I am currently on my way to "Green Eggs and Ham" in Aventura. I'll keep you guys posted on how that goes! read more

Extremely disappointed with the service. Went in for lunch and was sat around 1:00pm. Ordered our food immediately and the wait was absolutely ridiculous. People sat after us received their food and by 1:45pm still no food and our waitress kept assuring us it was almost ready. She assured us of this multiple times yet every time she brought food out of the kitchen it was not ours. How could people that were sat almost 20 minutes after us receive their food yet ours was nowhere in sight? We ordered sandwiches, not that difficult to make. Around 1:50pm after our waitress brought out food for yet another table we got up and walked out. A manager met us on our way out and all he could say was "sorry about that." Extremely unprofessional and we were baffled by the lack of customer service, we will not be coming back. read more
