We were greeted when we walked in. I'm a fan of the new menu. The food was served VERY hot. I always get a morning meditation and carrot cake pancakes. I also tried something different today. I asked for no meat on the Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl. But it came out with steak on it. No big deal, i let the waiter know and it was taken care of. The restaurant was clean. They have a patio section but no one was seated outside today. The biscuits were on the harder side. I was afraid that I wpuld break a tooth but it was good after the first bite.

Food: yummy! I got the bacon and French toast and was pleasantly surprised at how savory it was. I got mimosas and ofc you can't go wrong with that vitamin c! Service was pretty decent, the servers were managing a lot of tables but still were prompt. Ambiance: I sat outside during when the weather didn't hate me, but the patio was pretty basic and you get a good people watching view across from the government buildings.

I received a BOGO offer for signing up for their marketing emails and took my mom for a brunch downtown. It was very, very busy and close parking was a challenge, but now I can see why. The food was great! We both really enjoyed our meals and I have no complaints about the service. The menu had a pretty good variety and I appreciated the southern style options, especially. Just expect a wait and plan ahead.

Eggs Benedict BLT and potatoes! Soooo good!

Absolutely killer food, service and atmosphere! The breakfast options are large portions and very fair prices! The eggs Benedict blt is so good but get the home fries cause they are epic! The avocado toast is a nice portion for light eating! Will definitely be back!

Our first time at this location and it was very good as usual. We had to wait about 10 minutes-which was awesome because we tried another place and it was one hour long wait. Service was friendly and food was good. We tried the holiday menu. Husband ordered the steak and eggs hash and it was delicious! I ordered the double crunch breakfast tacos, I felt the tacos ok. They were a bit dry and lacking of something but with plenty of "carnitas " yum-they were good! The restaurant was very clean. Thank you guys you for always giving us something new to try! First Watch has been one of my "go to" weekday breakfast/brunch spots with friends that has been consistently good. I especially love their fresh pressed juices and their staff is always so sweet in allowing me a sample to try their new juice offerings before committing. I haven't quite ventured into their lunch offerings so I can't say much, but nearly all their breakfast offerings are bomb. Their portions are quite generous, usually what my friends and I like to do is to family style our dishes where we will split a savory and sweet to share. Without fail, their hash options are always solid. Seating is never too busy and I always end up in a booth, which is what I prefer. I also never feel rushed to leave the spot, which is always nice when it becomes a catch up spot for meals.

Great spot for breakfast and brunch. Lots of tasty options and consistently friendly service. The food always comes out fresh and well-prepared, and the menu has something for everyone. That said, I do think the portions could be a bit bigger for the prices they charge. Still, it's a solid choice if you're looking for a dependable and relaxed brunch spot in Downtown Indy.

Purple haze. A great vegan drink!!

The server brought me the wrong dish -- twice. My husband's French toast was dreadful. The service was poor.

I laughed though because the bar was playing The Muppet Show on the TV. lol The dinner menu is expensive so I went for brunch. (I believe their brunch is from 10am-2pm on Saturday and Sunday.) The bar area itself was really nice with an elegant ambiance, comfy swivel bar seats, and a more upscale vibe. I also have to mention the restroom because it was impressive. Very clean with thoughtful extras like complimentary mouthwash, tampons, and a vanity area. Small touches like that stand out to me. I ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and it was delicious. I would absolutely order it again. My husband got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccolini. He said the meatloaf was okay but not the best he's ever had. I tried the broccolini though and really liked it. For drinks, I had the Wildfire Smash cocktail which I thought was good and my husband had the espresso martini, and he said it was decent. We enjoyed our experience at the bar and appreciated the friendly service. I'd definitely like to come back and experience a full dinner here sometime, noting that it's probably best to have reservations.

I did see they allow you to make reservations on Open Table, so I booked it for a weekday to try it out. It wasn't nearly as busy as the parking lot looked, there was plenty of seating. It was a nice day so they had the windows open and they also had someone playing live music so it was a tad loud but, not overly loud where you can't hear your conversation. The menu is not your typical menu, it's very crafty if that's a word. The service was very good, and she explained the menu well and we took her up on her recommendations. Turkey pastrami which I had never had before. It tastes really fresh and felt healthy. The salad comes in a little small bowl but full of goodness. It's a really nice place for a girls night out, or a family dinner. Wouldn't consider it a good place for date night as it is pretty loud.

Intimate. The lighting? Soft. The whole space feels like a quiet luxury moment tucked right into the city. Now let's talk about what REALLY matters, the food. The shrimp & grits??? Listen... this wasn't just a dish, this was an EXPERIENCE. The grits were creamy, smooth, and perfectly rich, but that sauce layered on top?? Whew. Flavor on flavor on flavor. You've got that deep, savory, slightly smoky profile with juicy shrimp, sausage, and those pickled onions cutting through everything with the perfect tang. Every bite felt intentional. Like somebody knew what they were doing in that kitchen. And can we talk about how beautiful it was plated?? Because yes, I absolutely appreciated the aesthetics before I even picked up my fork. Paired it with a simple coffee moment, sitting by the window, and honestly... it felt like a reset. Not rushed, not loud, just good food, good atmosphere, and a chance to actually enjoy it. If you're looking for a brunch spot that feels a little more elevated, a little more intentional, and delivers on both flavor and experience. This is it. 10/10. I'll absolutely be back!!!

Plus, they had a few vegan choices for me (highly caloric, not super healthy, but still, they had more than one choice, and vegan offerings that weren't salads). They even had three tasty mocktails and some alcohol-free beers (since I don't do booze anymore either)! The veggie burger came with a squishy bean patty, with peas in it -- not my fave texture or flavor but tolerable -- and a tahini sauce... but they barely put any sauce on it. A gourmet, no-high-fructose-corn-syrup ketchup or tomato jam might have been better, or at least more of the tahini. It did come with a nice pile o' crunchy pickles (love) and a lovely green salad with balsamic dressing (way too many carrots). Service was fast and friendly. Ambience is upscale bar, with fun and interesting murals on the walls -- they had a terrific music playlist going, and the Hubbins and I ended up kind of dancing in place without realizing it. A nice, easy option for dinner with the fam without having to work/think too hard about it -- something to suit all of our varied diets.

The Brussels sprouts are an absolute triumph: perfectly blistered with a caramelized exterior and tender interior, dressed in a harmonious balance of bright acidity and savory depth. The Korean salmon is equally impressive. The fish arrives flaky and moist with a richly glazed crust that carries sweet, spicy, and umami notes in perfect proportion.
