Food: yummy! I got the bacon and French toast and was pleasantly surprised at how savory it was. I got mimosas and ofc you can't go wrong with that vitamin c! Service was pretty decent, the servers were managing a lot of tables but still were prompt. Ambiance: I sat outside during when the weather didn't hate me, but the patio was pretty basic and you get a good people watching view across from the government buildings.

I received a BOGO offer for signing up for their marketing emails and took my mom for a brunch downtown. It was very, very busy and close parking was a challenge, but now I can see why. The food was great! We both really enjoyed our meals and I have no complaints about the service. The menu had a pretty good variety and I appreciated the southern style options, especially. Just expect a wait and plan ahead.

Eggs Benedict BLT and potatoes! Soooo good!

Absolutely killer food, service and atmosphere! The breakfast options are large portions and very fair prices! The eggs Benedict blt is so good but get the home fries cause they are epic! The avocado toast is a nice portion for light eating! Will definitely be back!

Our first time at this location and it was very good as usual. We had to wait about 10 minutes-which was awesome because we tried another place and it was one hour long wait. Service was friendly and food was good. We tried the holiday menu. Husband ordered the steak and eggs hash and it was delicious! I ordered the double crunch breakfast tacos, I felt the tacos ok. They were a bit dry and lacking of something but with plenty of "carnitas " yum-they were good! The restaurant was very clean. Thank you guys you for always giving us something new to try! First Watch has been one of my "go to" weekday breakfast/brunch spots with friends that has been consistently good. I especially love their fresh pressed juices and their staff is always so sweet in allowing me a sample to try their new juice offerings before committing. I haven't quite ventured into their lunch offerings so I can't say much, but nearly all their breakfast offerings are bomb. Their portions are quite generous, usually what my friends and I like to do is to family style our dishes where we will split a savory and sweet to share. Without fail, their hash options are always solid. Seating is never too busy and I always end up in a booth, which is what I prefer. I also never feel rushed to leave the spot, which is always nice when it becomes a catch up spot for meals.

Great spot for breakfast and brunch. Lots of tasty options and consistently friendly service. The food always comes out fresh and well-prepared, and the menu has something for everyone. That said, I do think the portions could be a bit bigger for the prices they charge. Still, it's a solid choice if you're looking for a dependable and relaxed brunch spot in Downtown Indy.

Purple haze. A great vegan drink!!

I have been to two other first watch restaurants, one in Avon, Indiana and one in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is my third place of first watch in downtown Indianapolis and let me just say this was also an amazing experience. Overall, I have had only good experiences with first watch but this place just overdid everything. Their menu selection was amazing. They have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. They are located right on the North Illinois Street so parking is a little challenging. If you are used to knowing your way around downtowns and parking on the streets with parking meters or you know having a bike then yes this is a great stop. If not, you will have to plan to go to this place so make sure you plan ahead for your parking. Their service was impeccable. Unfortunately, we had an order that was not accurately to what we asked for and the person who was serving us. They were tremendously helpful and they made it right and they gave us $5 off on top of their impeccable service. They're ambience inside was amazing. They also have a little spot to sit outside in front of the restaurant which is where we sat and enjoyed our lunch. They have this awesome list of drinks that are non-alcoholic and one of the ones that I was tempted to get was this purple haze as you can see in my picture it's it. Just was amazing to drink and to look at. This is a definitely try place. They are family friendly and business casual. They are noisy and definitely try.

The service was phenomenal!! They were patient with my 5y/o as he placed his order. The food came out quickly and tasted AMAZING as usual! The atmosphere was great for a brunch with my kiddo!

Clean and cute decor and friendly service. Make this a great breakfast stop . Food is now on fall flavor so pumpkin pancakes a must. Light and fluffy and full of pumpkin flavor. Eggs light and served with chicken sausage. Definitely try for a nice breakfast in Indianapolis

The bar area itself was really nice with an elegant ambiance, comfy swivel bar seats, and a more upscale vibe. I also have to mention the restroom because it was impressive. Very clean with thoughtful extras like complimentary mouthwash, tampons, and a vanity area. Small touches like that stand out to me. I ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and it was delicious. I would absolutely order it again. My husband got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccolini. He said the meatloaf was okay but not the best he's ever had. I tried the broccolini though and really liked it. For drinks, I had the Wildfire Smash cocktail which I thought was good and my husband had the espresso martini, and he said it was decent. We enjoyed our experience at the bar and appreciated the friendly service. I'd definitely like to come back and experience a full dinner here sometime, noting that it's probably best to have reservations.
