I've passed First Watch so many times and I remember going to a yelp event at a location across town a few years ago but another meal there hadn't happened until I needed a large breakfast order filled. On a Sunday morning we placed nine to-go orders and tried a good portion of the menu - farmhouse skillet hash, elevated egg sandwich, smoked salmon & roasted vegetable frittata, trifecta w/pancake, chicken apple sausage, carrot cake pancake, turkey sausage, pesto chicken bowl, french toast, chickichanga, biscuits, million dollar bacon, and biscuits and turkey sausage gravy. Understandably, they had some challenges with getting all of the orders correct. However, when we got home and began to eat, everything was excellent. The standouts were the frittata, chickichanga, and pancakes. I was very impressed by the french toast as well. I rarely order french toast because it's often soggy and eggy. This one was made with brioche bread and it had some firmness and integrity to it while still having a little softness and sweetness. It was delicious! I'll probably wait until after the COVID-19 pandemic to return as although I was just picking up an order, the dining room looked quite full with lots of people not masked. We waited 45 minutes for our food yet we were still missing a side order of eggs. On top of that we were seated at a wobbly table that would tip over when we reached over to share food off of each other's plates. Order: The traditional breakfast. Steak and egg hash. Steak and egg hash was a little disappointing. Flavorless minus the potatoes. Steak was bland and cooked one temperature (appeared well done). I like my steak medium therefore the steak was also dry. Another great experience at First Watch on a quick lunch date. Location was clean and bright as always. We were sat down quickly in a booth (my preference as usual), though I thought of sitting outside where a couples had a cute puppy laying near their table - good to know they are pet friendly in the outside seating area. I was feeling something kind of breakfast-like so I ordered the made to order Steel Cut Oatmeal. It was delicious, packed with fruit on top, and also came with the muffin of the day. I really love this place. A few weeks ago I lost my mom and have been in a depression. This place is my favorite brunch spot and I am somewhat of a regular. Last weekend they went above and beyond to try to cheer me up. My server knew of my troubles and passed it on to her manager (secretly) and before I left he sat down at my table and gave his condolences and the staffs as well. He handed me a card and a nice note, told me I was part of the family and did not charge me for my meal. I've always had such a positive brunch experience at First Watch. Brought my parents here for the first time, and although they aren't fans of eating breakfast, they really liked the food too! Ambience: There are many branches around the area, but each location manages to make the space inviting and neighborly. Even on a weekday, the place still bustles with activity. Food: I ordered the Cornbread Carnitas Bowl, which was a special "Sunshiny Summer Flavor" they were offering. It comprised of savory pork, grilled cornbread topped with poached eggs, black beans, pico de gallo, Cotija cheese, avocados, and cilantro/lime cream. The portion was very generous and the flavors were really delicious. My mom ordered the Smoked Salmon and Roasted Vegetable Frittata that was made with smoked salmon, roasted shallots, tomatoes, cheese, and drizzled with chive cream. She said the frittata was a little dry for her liking, but the moist salmon counteracted it. My dad ordered The Works which was an omelette made with ham, bacon, sausage, Crimini mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and sour cream. He devoured it! I'd say both of these plates were really big, so an added bonus! Price: I'd say for the portions, the price is very reasonable. The dining room ambiance is as expected with a moderate tonoise level due to families enjoying their food and conversations with loved ones. The only other Denny's we found in the area had terrible ratings, so here we are. I had the delicious & incredible bananas foster French toast! It was perfect, what more can I say?!?! My husband had the omelet and he found it to be just okay & the cheesy grits were pretty good. No senior, military, or other discounts so it is a little pricey for breakfast. A usual weekend go-to spot for hubby and I; while today seemed to be an off day overall by the vibe and food; we will continue to come back. This was my second time at First Watch, first time at this location which is very close to my house. My first visit was Riverside for a Yelp event. I had a $20, card to use towards my meal today from the event. We sat outside as the wait was a little long for inside. I ordered the avocado toast with two eggs. My avocado toast was brought out first which through me as I had this before and it was served with the eggs. The eggs arrived about five minutes later. The meal was good. I love the lemon flavor in the avocado. I also had grapefruit juice which was tasty. I tried my friends food. The biscuits with turkey gravy was very flavorful and the French toast with raspberry sauce was delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful. We didn't know we had to take the check inside and pay at the front so my friend asked one of the servers to run her card and they nicely obliged with no complaints. Great service! read more

There was a lot of potato, but it didn't feel too dry or too starchy. Many other ingredients seem to be present specifically to prevent this. With a good amount of avocado, cilantro, chipotle crema, and other stuff, the flavor came together really well. If you're going to attend First Watch i recommend either early in the morning, when it's nice and quiet. All of the staff is super friendly and a lot of the time you'll get a server with a sense of humor. Personally I'd recommend A waffle with eggs and, chucken sausage. I'm sorry, First Watch. I see you. We sat on the patio on a nice breezy day and it was such a nice setting for brunch with my family. I was greeted immediately and our waitress brought out waters for the table and made sure we had everything we needed to start. The menu was lengthy and offered something for everyone - whether you're in the mood for breakfast or lunch - they had it. Our orders took quite some time to come out, despite the restaurant not being that busy (about 25 minutes from order to getting food) but everything was tasty and exactly as expected. Our original waitress wasn't our waitress the whole time so that was a little confusing, but not terrible because both of them were plenty nice.
