This opened Memorial Day weekend in the middle of the COVID Pandemic. We finally went there today! Apparently the best thing to do is call ahead seating. This place was packed and gave us a 45 min wait even with call ahead. When we arrived we waited about 15 minutes before they texted us that our table was ready. There was quite a line to enter. The service was friendly and they were seating appropriately for Covid. I was impressed with their check out policy. After you use a clean pen to sign your credit card, you put them in a "dirty" pile for them to be disinfected. Now, about the food... We wanted brunch and their online menu looked different than what you would get at other brunch places. Their menu is quite large and many healthy options available. The coffee was delicious and so much better than most places around. We both wanted eggs, bacon, and pancakes. So we each opted for the "Trifecta". The bacon was delicious. The egg was yummy but boy oh man the pancakes were awesome! I asked if we could substitute a specialty pancake and the waitress said of course. So I had the lemon ricotta pancake that was multigrain and had lemon curd and strawberries on top of it and ricotta mixed into the batter. He had the carrot cake pancake which was also multigrain with raisins, pecans, carrot. and cinnamon. Make sure you ask for the REAL maple syrup! They offer sugar free syrup and I had a bite of his and he had a bite of mine. Delicious! The lemon and ricotta made it light and refreshing. His was fluffy and almost desert like without being overly sweet. We will most definitely be back as there are so many other things on the menu to try! As the waitresses walked by with orders, each of us commented and said, "we will have to try that." They have breakfast, soups, salads, and sandwiches. I want to start with every other time I have been here I have had no problems. However, this last time there was hair in the salad, we were given the wrong food, undercooked eggs and they gave regular toast to someone with a gluten intolerance and never brought the gluten free toast. The server never came to check on us. When we addressed concerns with her she said she would talk to her manager. Then came back saying they discounted our meal, but they did not. Incredible experience all around! The food was delicious, the staff was on top of it even with it being busy and the restaurant being understaffed. I had ordered a breakfast meal that came with potatoes and when asked how they were seasoned the staff took the time to go back to the kitchen and find out. The seasons contained ingredients I am allergic to and our waitress was kind enough rewrite my entire ticket to make sure cooks knew to make it separately. Not sure if she thought cus we were younger we wouldn't tip well but she literally never checked on us once and kept walking when we tried to get her attention. Just ate here for the first time and wow! First impression was the coffee, and boy was it good! For brunch, my husband got the chocolate chip pancakes. They were hands-down the best pancakes either of us had ever eaten. I got The Works omelet with egg whites and it was also delicious. I loved the mixed green salad that came on the side.
