This was my third visit to this location. It has progressively gotten worse. My first visit went as expected and I was very happy with the experience so I returned. On my second visit, the hostess skipped over us. She had incorrectly taken down the phone number, but we eventually got a table. Service and food were fine and we left happy. This visit was my last to this location, and may be the worst breakfast/brunch experience I have ever had. We were seated at a correct estimate of 10-15 mins. However our wait did not stop there. We watched as four tables around us were seated and served without being acknowledged by any one. At 17 mins past our table ready text, the hostess came over to take our order. She tried her best to serve us while also running the host stand and she is to be commended. There was not a server at our table until after our entrees were being delivered. She stopped by the table maybe 3 times. We are big eaters and I enjoy variety. We ordered an appetizer, two specialty coffee, two adult drinks, three entrees (we split the lemon ricotta pan cakes which is why two stars, highly recommend) and I would have ordered more drinks had we actually been served, just not a bloody Mary that had an odd burn taste to it, as if it wanted to be smokey but it missed the mark. The food was sub par on this experience. The new featured cornbread doesn't have much flavor. Poached eggs were over cooked on one side and not cooked on the other. Potatoes were almost cooked all the way through. I was just extremely disappointed in the entire experience, I love breakfast and was particularly excited for my random Friday outing. The wait is long. And the long wait is not worth it. We waited for about 35 minutes for a party of two. Waiting to be seated was not a problem, but it took about 40 minutes before our food came out. We ordered a few things and shared but nothing really outstanding to mention. Everything we had tasted pretty ordinary. We ordered some bacon dish where they drizzled maple syrup on it and that definitely was not worth it. The first bite was good but after a while the sweetness gets old. The price is cheap which is a good thing, but I think I'd honestly rather go to Waffle House. At least it won't take 40 minutes for the food to come out. read more

When we arrived we were one of 2 tables in the entire restaurant. The waiters were running around like their asses were on fire. The hostess just threw our menus on the table and kept going without looking back. We had to figure out which was our table. The food was mediocre at best. We ate there when it first opened and it was great. This visit left much to be desired. There was no sugar for coffee on the table even though we got there as soon as they opened. We had to get it off another table. The coffee carafe was covered in old coffee gunk. It was filthy. We'd have been better off at IHOP. I was so looking forward to eating breakfast there and was utterly disappointed. When we got ready to leave we waited and waited for our check even though nobody was in there and ended up having to ask what appeared to be the manager for it. Never again. read more

Decided to stop to eat at First Watch with my mom before doing some shopping. And we were greeted and sat down quickly. We have visited this location before and had wonderful customer service then. So we were very displeased when 10mins passed after being seated and no one came to ask us our drink orders. But then a white couple walked in and their order was instantly taken. We love First Watch! This is the 3rd location we've tried and it's awesome. The staff is much, much friendlier than the Alpharetta location. Food is the same - just nicer people :) Use the online app to get in line! It was simple, gave us updates and the wait time was spot on! Sure made a huge difference on a busy Saturday morning. My favorite dish is the Farmhouse Skillet - potatoes, tomatoes, bacon, avocado and cheese, topped with eggs. So good! The thick slice of whole grain toast is amazing! I really enjoyed the food at the Kennesaw location when I dine in. Everything was fresh and service is good. Wait can be a bit long but I love they have the option to join the waitlist before arriving. However, I must say I have ordered three times online and each time including today food was horrible. The bacon is burnt my potatoes are a little more crisp and my egg white fried hard when specifically asked for medium. I've given enough chances to see if the first time was a fluke. Very friendly and attentive staff and great decor (loving the farmhouse vibe). I went for brunch with my mom and sisters on a Friday; nice to see the place was busy, usually a sign that the food is good. I ordered the grilled ham & cheese sandwich - ham, gruyere, Dijon mustard and tomato - with a side of beschamel (to make it a Croque Monsueir) and broccoli cheese soup. The sandwich was perfectly golden and crispy, and the soup was very flavorful. I tried a bite of my sister's waffle, which was airy and delicious. Amazing! The breakfast was so good. I got two eggs, bacon and blueberry pancake with coffee. My friend got like a yogurt cup with granola and fruit. She couldn't eat it all, but I ate all of mine. We had to wait 45 minutes to be seated--we went around 11 am on a Saturday! At check out I bought a bag of coffee and a bag of homemade granola. This place was hopping and good. My friend and I like going here for brunch after swimming. They have a great selection and variety of food that caters to vegetarians. Their meals, also, does a great job of filling you up. However, not all of their dishes are great, I've taste some that were questionable. So I think your overall experience depends on what you order. The Kale Tonic is my go to drink. My friend got her usual Traditional Breakfast and I got the Baja Turkey Sandwich with their soup of the day (broccoli and cheddar). We also had another friend with us and he got the Pork Belly Bacon & Grits with the Millionaire's Bacon. You can never go wrong with their sandwich selection so mine tasted great. My friend always like her breakfast food, but she did noticed portion size decreased a bit for her and her hot chocolate was just classic. The grits tasted alright for my other friend. He said the Millionaire's Bacon might've been too overly sweet with the amount of maple syrup in there. The staff are always nice too, so we do enjoy coming here whenever we can. read more

One of the best places to have breakfast, lunch or brunch! Everything is fresh! I have never seen one piece or part of a piece of lettuce with brown or discoloration! I know brown just means it's the rust, or oxidation of the lettuce, but, it's not on their lettuce! Avocados are green and just a teensy bit firm to soft but never mushy. It really is wonderful. They also are nice when you sit and want to talk too your table mate! Truly a wonderful place! Also, they change the menu based on what's available, mostly, and that's good,too. We got there about around 8:45am and had NO WAIT time. We were seated directly and had efficient service. The menu is extensive and when j say there is something for every type of eater and diet, there truly is. The coffee is fresh and I just like how the water is served in "old timey" glass milk bottles (or they at least look that way). There is some fancy fresh juice options if you're not a coffee drinker. The prices are about $10/plate, so it's affordable but can get pricey if you like a lot of additional sides or changes. We enjoyed ourselves though and will be back again soon! read more

Got here at 11:23 am and was seated at 11:34 am after a short wait. The bathrooms are at a decent cleanliness. The front of house service was excellent and prompt. After being seated, the server greeted us quickly and got drink orders. I got a cold brew coffee and it tasted decent, not as smooth as I like but not too bad. I ordered a smoked salmon eggs Benedict with a side of cheese grits and potatoes. The hollandaise sauce was alright because it was a little bit more runny than I am used to. Also the citrus taste of it was a bit overpowering. The eggs were cooked well and the smoked salmon as well as the accompanying onions and tomatoes were good. The cheese grits were probably the blandest thing I've had in awhile. They had no taste and it was mostly just texture. The saving grace of this dish were their potatoes which were flavorful and had a wonderful roasted, crispy texture. My friends got the French toast and the BLT eggs Benedict which they enjoyed. Overall, I probably won't return unless my friends decide they want to go here again. I think there are better brunch locations in the vicinity. read more

Went to first watch at 10am on a Saturday. Understandably the day was busy for staff. We waited 1 hour to be seated.... Waitress took our order and we waited 1.5 hours for our food.... Eventually having to uncomfortably ask about when it will arrive to then find out they lost our order. The customer service when I approached the manager was really excellent, however. He had our order made immediately and the meal was free of charge. I don't understand how our waitress didn't catch onto the fact that we had refilled our coffees 5-6 times and yet no food was at our table. I feel the waitress failed. The outcome was she went out of her wait to apologize and it really meant a lot to us. I wouldn't recommend eating here solely because everyone and their mother goes there to eat. I came back today and I was soo pleased with my food. On their summer menu they have an Açaí bowl and it was great! It could of used a little more granola but I really enjoyed it! Have visited this location several times over the years, today was very disappointing. Seated quickly asked for coffee and water, took 8 minutes. Then ordered, I do understand at times meals may take time to be prepared and served however waited 28 minutes for breakfast in a half capacity restaurant. During this wait I had plenty of opportunity to observe the entire restaurant. What I observed was not pretty, I watched servers remove dirty dishes, walk back to dirty dish line and immediately turn and grab food from the food line and then serve to customers. I watched workers constantly play with their face mask pulling away from their face and then using that same hand to enter orders and grab food to serve without ever washing hands. Very nasty, practice basic hygiene people! So waiting on food and witnessing all this I almost walked out, but then how could I review the food. Coffee and water were brought to table on dirty serving tray and one water glass still had soap residue. I ordered turkey sausage gravy and biscuit, gravy was thin but properly seasoned. Eggs ordered over medium but served over easy. Potatoes some cooked throughly others not. Other plate had small portion of scrambled eggs, sausage link was good and thankfully they served a delicious waffle. I'll be moving on from here, I can't unsee what I've witnessed. read more

The service was awesome - super friendly, attentive, and efficient. The menu is large and filled with a good variety of farm to table type options with many healthy choices. I had a banana granola crunch and a blueberry pancake. They were so good!! But warning - big is an understatement of the size of the pancakes. They are HUGE!! So plan to take some home.
