Portions are very generous!!! Seriously, I cannot finish most of the dishes. The mule basket feeds both of us! Service is very prompt and friendly. The restaurant always seems very busy yet we have always been able to easily find a table and parking. (Some kind of weird voodoo going on with that!) Despite the crowd the dining room feels comfortable not overly cramped. You stand in line, place your order, find a table, fetch your coffee and shortly your food arrives. The staff are ridiculously good and offer smiles all morning. Overall every time we eat here it is a wonderful experience. We leave with happy full bellies and smiles all around. I love it here.

Details: Beignets - excellent Chocolate covered strawberry French toast - great bread, tossed the left overs Chicken fingers and wedges - leftovers sat in the fridge for a kid that loves food Meat lovers crepe (chicken sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs with cheese, add shrimp) - items taste decent separately, together it was mid. Sauce didn't do much to complement it. Salmon bowl - meh. The potatoes were good. Salmon fried hard but barely seasoned. Smores French toast - a teenager ordered all this sugar and I let him. Of course he ate it all. There was 1 espresso and 2 hot chocolates that the kids loved. I didn't list everything cause I didn't try everything we purchased. All I gotta say is the price didn't match the value my tastebuds hoped and expected. All this to see they got a 62 on their health score? Nahhhhh gas is too high to be this disappointed. Also bathroom didn't have paper towels to dry our hands. Service: thanks Katie! Btw, voting isn't a scam or they wouldn't be doing what they're doing. Menu is operated by Toast which is cool. Just has a weird UX but whatever. Didn't even take pictures of the food.

Solid 5 stars all around: ambiance, service, and food…read more They have a small parking lot behind the store, I drove past it and had to come back around but found it and easily found parking in the middle of the day. Inside is lovely and clean with earthy decor and some toys for children by the restrooms. They also have a portable changing table available on request. I sat outside on the patio and they put a fan on me since it was warm. Lovely seats on the lawn shaded by a large tree as well as some deck seating. They have a large menu loaded with goodies. I found about 5-6 things I actually wanted at once but settled not he Veggie bowl and added chicken sausage. My bowl had sweet potato hash, cheese, kale, red peppers, red onion and mushrooms sautéed, topped with two eggs and my added chicken. It was a huge portion and it was really delicious. Perfectly cooked and healthy and loaded - the hash was phenomenal. My waitress was the sweetest and I really just enjoyed a lovely quiet lunch with the patio entirely to myself on a lovely summer afternoon. Couldn't have been better.

The owner had everyone in mind when it came to the food. There's a drink menu for kids and even something for the dogs . I ordered the coconut curry salmon . It was good . It lacked flavor, but I appreciated it for not being overly salty. My favorite meal was the avocado nachos. I have thought of them since my first time eating them. It is one of the most popular dishes on the menu. Ask long as it's offered I will always order it . The parking was a bit tight behind the house . When I arrived , I was very lucky to get the last spot . However , I noticed other patrons were parking next to the Root Canal office . It was an open area that appeared to be a makeshift parking area. There was outdoor seating, by which I saw quite a few people seating there . It looked cozy and no one seemed uncomfortable. As it was my first time there. I elected to eat inside. It wasn't a bad experience, but the home is very small . I can imagine it being congested . But I was there early on a Sunday . Will I eat here again ? Yes !

We are very happy we gave it a shot. The fried chicken biscuit was phenomenal. We got the Hot Honey Garlic Sauce on the side so I could dip the sandwich. The sauce was hot (spicy flavor) so I was glad I could control the portion & alternate the savory fried chicken and biscuit taste without the added heat from the sauce. The wait on a rainy Saturday morning was reasonable considering there were quite a few other first timers in attendance. We could overhear other couples/families telling waitresses & hosts about the video. We also had the Smokey Scramble (with chicken) and a single buttermilk pancake - all of it delicious. Our waitress apologized for the wait & let us know the kitchen was busy but when the food came it would be worth it - and it absolutely was. We look forward to visiting the Crooked Tree Cafe again
