I have been going here for a few years now and the food has always been good. The service has always been bad. They seem frantic even when slow and overall disorganized. This has progressively gotten worse. Today was the worst I've seen. We arrived at 11:30am, so early lunch, not busy. Everything was filthy. The floor was covered in food. Coffee cup had coffee grounds all over the rim. Glassware was dirty with chunks of previous food/liquid debris on them. The ceiling looks pretty gross as well. Popped in on a Sunday morning following a long trail run (I was hungry!). We got there around 930 and had no wait time. We were seated by the kitchen/restroom. In fairness to the restaurant, this review is based on this particular visit. All other visits I've had were between 4-5 stars. Potatoes were inedibly saltyyy, the over medium eggs had about 2 table spoons of runny clear liquid that gushed out when I cut the 2nd egg, it was a loooot, quite gross indeed. I've never seen anything like it and I've eaten eggs my whole life, both organic and non-organic. To top it, there was also half a strip of bacon buried under my potatoes. Comes with fancy whole grain toast topped with almond butter and sea salt. Yum! Showed up about 5 minutes after the available pick up time. Saturday morning and the place is super packed, several patrons waiting to be seated. No sign of my food when I checked in so I was asked to wait. Ok, cool. 10 minutes pass (now 20 minutes past the original pickup time), no food. Annoyance creeps in and I check in for the 3rd time. Guy comes back empty handed, again. I can't deal. This dish should take no time to prepare..PREPARE, not even cook. While in my head I was having a whole temper tantrum, Cool as a cucumber on the outside. Then proceeded to let the guy know that I'd been waiting entirely too long for the dish I ordered and needed it right away. Surprisingly enough, he returned within a couple of minutes with my food.
