    Harvest hash

We enjoyed our brunch on a Friday at First watch. We chose three items from the seasonal menu and the two entrees were wonderful! The barilla quesadilla benedict was so flavor and my hubby loved the harvest hash. Sadly the cinnamon churros were anything but cinnamon flavored. They were bland and dry. Even viably burnt somehow (weird because you fry a churro). Service was pleasant and the restaurant was clean. We'll be back but just no churros!

Three words for you... Million Dollar Bacon!!!! Run and don't walk to this place! They didn't cook my eggs right...plus I like when my cheese is melted in my eggs...but hey, it was still really good. My friends and I ate breakfast here yesterday. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. I also tasted my friend's drink, Morning Meditation...I think that was the name of it. It was really good. I give this place a 10 out of 10. I definitely recommend!

Favorite place to get breakfast, they are so accommodating for allergies and don't even upcharge for gluten free bread or egg whites. They always have amazing service and the food is always fast and delicious. Highly recommend this location as well it is very well run and kept.

This was my first time eating here, so I didn't know what to expect. I thought it was like a Panera where a cashier would ring up your order, but this is a sit down restaurant. I ordered our food with their app since it was a last minute breakfast decision before church. The food was finished fast and it was waiting for "pick up" when I entered. I asked if we could sit and eat our to-go food and they allowed us to eat at a table. The food was delicious and the fruit was fresh (but, I wish the fruit cup was in a bigger to-go container...only had 4 small pieces of fruit). I loved the Morning Meditation! I told my husband that "I could feeeelll the nutrients running through my veins"....he looked at me with a raised eyebrow! Try the Morning Meditation and feeeelll it for yourself!

Enjoying a nice lunch with my hubby.

First Watch has quickly become our beloved brunch spot. My favorite items on the menu include the Floridian French toast and the Morning Market Veg omelette. For their French toast they use this delicious thick cut brioche bread and the Floridian French toast is covered with fresh bananas, kiwi, and strawberries and served with a warm berry compote on the side. The Morning Market omelette is chock full of roasted zucchini, crimini mushrooms, shallots, kale, tomatoes, and goat cheese. The omelette is served with toast and home fries and is my favorite breakfast go-to here. My husband's favorite is the BLTE, which is the classic BLT with an over hard egg, Monterey Jack, and Mayo. We can't recommend this place enough. The service is fast and friendly and we loved how the waiters remembered us on our second and third visits!!

You have to overlook the terrible location. There's Hardly any parking and you may have to drive around several times to find a place. The atmosphere is very nice. The staff is courteous and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious. Definitely will be coming back

First watch is not your typical breakfast spot, but you can find all your classic favorites here. We had a large group celebrating a graduation here. Our food came out in a reasonable time despite the restaurant being busy and us having 8 different orders. Most of the group ordered the "Tri-Fecta" which allows you to customize 3 breakfast classics (eggs, protein, and pancake or French toast). I am not the biggest breakfast fan so I ordered a sandwich and salad combo. Overall I can tell first watch uses quality ingredients for wholesome meals. The most interesting thing we got was actually the drinks. The tropical sunrise was refreshing and the kids liked the hot chocolate.

Hot ham and cheese lunch special w/tomato basil soup on a rainy day with a cup of coffee = perfection. Had to wait a little while at the front for someone to notice & seat me but service at table & food was delish & fresh. Simple, comfy seating. Reminds me of the better breakfast cafes in Chicago. Don't miss it!

A First Watch just opened near me recently (Troy, MI location), and I haven't tried it out yet but have wanted to go. I was in Knoxville recently and we decided to go here for breakfast on my last day in town. Make sure to "join the waitlist" on Yelp before you go to save some time! There were about ten parties in front of us but we only had a 10-15 minute wait, on Labor Day, which was nice, since I added my party of 4 to the waitlist ahead of time. I ordered the avocado toast, but I don't like eggs, and I was able to substitute potatoes for the side. Both the toast and the potatoes were very tasty. My boyfriend and I split the Million Dollar Bacon (seasonal dish) as well, and that was also very delicious. He ordered the French toast for his entree and said that was good, too. His cousins' food came out about 5-10 minutes after ours, which wasn't great. They ordered the bacon, the French toast, and the breakfast tacos; his cousin's wife said the breakfast tacos were just okay. Our server was nice but would disappear for stretches at a time ... if waitservice was better, this might have been a 5-star review, because all of the food we had was really good. I'm excited to try out my local First Watch after my experience here, though, as the menu was varied and food was delicious.

I stopped at this First Watch because I couldn't decide what to eat and you can never go wrong with a Chickichanga. I just wanted to say y'all are doing everything right. The service was incredible, the food was delicious, and the vibes were immaculate. Y'all had exactly what I needed this morning, kindness and good food. Thank you.

My wife and I spent an evening at the Marlowe and they were very accommodating as our reservation had fallen out of the system (probably due to my own user error) but as I mentioned they found a table for us and made sure we didn't miss our chance to partake in their phenomenal menu. I had the fall fashion which is their take on an old fashioned and it was terrific and the Rye whiskey played nicely with the amaretto. My wife had some sort of Sicilian wine cocktail that was advertised as brighter and better mimosa and they nailed the description. It was an elevated mimosa that was light, refreshing and bubbly. We started with the wedge salad and potato croquettes. The salad was as phenomenal, the bacon adding the right smoky and savory flavor and the dressings paired well with the fresh crisp lettuce. I was slightly disappointed we didn't have heirloom tomatoes as they were advertised and instead used grape / cherry tomatoes (the menu listing mentioned heirloom and I'm a tomato snob). The Gorgonzola wasn't overpowering and paired really well with the balsamic. The potato croquettes needed a little more seasoning or salt and were somewhat bland but the presentation was terrific and they were cooked perfectly. It might have been the bacon aioli but it just needed a little more zip. For mains my wife went with the Bouillabaisse and asked if she could add a bit of the house made fettuccine to which the chef was very accommodating in making the addition. With wonderful seasoning and an abundant amount of shrimp, scallop, salmon and mussels she couldn't finish her serving. This dish was fragrant and cooked to perfection. I had the filet and it was also amazing. Cooked a perfect medium rare and held amazing flavor. It was a solid and good sized filet that was definitely the star the show. The asparagus was grilled perfectly and seasoned wonderfully. The confit beet was amazing and held terrific flavoring and lended to the beautiful presentation and plating. We really wanted to try the crème brûlée as it looked amazing but we didn't save any room. The service was beyond terrific and Anthony took great care of us from start to finish. We watched the Chef oversee the kitchen and he didn't let a single plate pass through that kitchen without his terrific attention to detail. Overall this restaurant stood out heads and shoulders above other restaurants of similar type and it immediately jumps to the top of the list for fine dining in the Knoxville area. I can't wait to recommend this place to friends and family and this is the first time I wish I could give six stars!

After last night I'm not sure if we will ever return. We were seated outside at a table that was right in front of the in and out doors. We waited almost 15 minutes before someone came to wait on this. Honestly this would have been longer if my husband hadn't gone in to ask about a server for our table. Mind you, there were plenty of servers walking to help the other tables around us as we were waiting. Finally a server walked up, her name started with an A, and she was very flippant with helping us. I ordered a beer and my husband ordered water and son ordered a soda. We also went on and ordered since we had no idea when she would return for our order. She brought the water and soda but no beer and then we didn't see her (at our table) until our food came out. My beer came out with the food, a good 10 minutes after I ordered it. I know you may be thinking that the bar was backed up but her other table (that arrived after) got their drinks right away and also a 2nd order of drinks before I received my beer. She never came to check on us with our food and spent more time at the table that arrived with her friends. Her attitude and personality was vastly different with our table versus her friend's table. When it came time to get us our check. I saw her roll her eyes and walked towards us. I let it slide instead of calling her out on her actions as I just wanted to leave. We paid our check and left. I truly feel like this will be our last time here because of the service we received. We have many friends who travel to Knoxville for various sporting events (since I'm in that industry) and I always recommend Stock and Barrel. After last night, I'll be recommending some other place.

SmashCity wasn't far off of the interstate, it had good ratings and although we'd been eating burgers and fries quite a bit on this roadtrip, a good burger and fries really sounded good. All of the reviews were right on - this was absolutely NOT fast food - it was fast, really fast, but the speed was just bonus. As we usually do, we split. We chose the Carolina BBQ smash. The burgers were juicy - if you're not careful, I guarantee you'll be wearing it. Two critiques, it definitely needed more sauce - I just added some of the SmashCity sauce from our fries and it worked but I really would have liked to have had more BBQ sauce. Second, the fried onions were quite burned. I pulled off most of them. The hand cut fries were piping hot, just the right amount of greasy and seasoned perfectly. Splitting the burger was a good call - I'd never have eaten the whole thing myself. The burger and fries were just over $20. When you consider a Big Mac meal at that clown place is $14, SmashCity is almost a bargain. Paul, the owner was like the energizer bunny - he was everywhere at once. Personality oozed from his pores. Make sure you tell him Sue said hi! (He won't remember me but just say hi anyway!) Now I wouldn't say SmashCity has the best burgers - that award goes to our friend Jerry. He makes a pretty mean smash burger on the blackstone. If you have an extra half hour, skip the fast food burger joints, get off that highway, and go let Paul fill your belly for the rest of your trip! You'll appreciate it!

I also had a bite of the smoked salmon from the power bowl and a bite of the chicken piccata. A bit on the pricier side for a lunch but I enjoyed what I had at Cazzy's. I hear both locations are very consistent as well.

We did not have any drinks but the offerings cover the local, standard and top shelf tastes. The staff is even invited to events to learn about food and drink parings. Lunch was grab and eat. It was very quiet becasue we were well past the lunch rush and before the early dinners. I needed something more than a salad or bowl even though several were tempting. Not always a burger guy, but a bison burger will draw my attention. You don't see bison much in TN. Delicious. Juicy enough I needed an extra napkin. The second reason I chose the burger was for the carrot fries. I don't ever remember having them before or even seeing them. Their good, no reason they can't be a replacemnt to traditional fries and they don't "sag" as much as sweet potato fries. In my case, the kitchen put potato fries on the plate rather than carrot fries. Our server, Daniel noticed it and brought out a separate plate with proper side. Great service there. Another upgrade is that seasoning on the fries. There are several different ones and they differ byt the dish and fry. It was fun to compare the difference on the plate. So, cazzy's is not at diner but a fine gastropub.
