FW is a breakfast favorite of ours, I love the pancakes and the bacon is the best around. My wife loves the breakfast tacos!!

I've been here enough to know this is by far my favorite first watch of the Knoxville area! The staff is always top notch, with no issues I can report on after 10+ visits. The inside is always clean and I have never had a worry eating here. The food is wonderful every time and my favorite by far is the millionaire bacon and pretty much any omelet. I ordered a pancake. Dry, barely warm , fake butter and syrup. What a disappointment. My daughter ordered the bacon. It was not at all as described. Just grease bacon with syrup on it. She also ordered gluten free toast. One tiny slice, no butter and she had to ask for jam. A cup of coffee turned into a pricey pot. This is all about hype, high prices and not as presented on the menu. Service was fine and ambiance limited. read more

Everything seemed fine. At first. After waiting for over an hour for our food, I inquired. The server told me that my food was done and hanging out under the heat lamp while my husband's was being made. I then received my luke warm meal with crusty eggs, only to discover that they left out the bacon and cheese. So I went inside to see the menu to make sure I remembered what I ordered. Once confirmed, I told my server about the missing ingredients from my meal and he said, "What do you want - a side of bacon?" No apology, no nothing. And I assure you, I was kind about it - I work as a server also. I would NEVER treat my customers this way. Despite all the good ratings I couldn't give it more than 2 stars. We're visiting from New York and heard a lot of good things about this place. The food was horrible!!! I ordered soup that was... cold. Biscuits and gravy...cold. Over easy eggs were... cold, and cooked all the way thru. Pork sausages were raw in the middle and yes you guessed it... cold. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars was because the waitress was extremely nice, even to the point where I was hesitant to send things back. I know they were quite busy so I won't fault them on that. Unfortunately, all my son ate was crackers cause everything else wasn't too good. I'm just visiting Tennessee, so I won't make a big deal out of it, but IF I'm the area again, I'm sorry I'm not coming back. Way too over rated. read more

We stopped in for breakfast. The place is cute. Seems to get very busy between breakfast and lunch. The food was really yummy and we liked all of it. We felt like the service was a little lacking but that was mostly because they were so busy. We got seen by three different people, the first two be just happened to notice no one had helped us yet but we'd been there a while. Good little place. The wait time was estimated to be a little over an hour, which was exactly right (and to be expected on a Sunday, just be aware that wait times will be long, it's not the staff's fault). The hostess was incredibly sweet and I watched her deal with irritated customers very professionally. Out server, Amber, was very kind and professional. My complaint is simply that the kitchen was very behind, which is understandable for a Sunday morning. Our server comped our appetizer to compensate us for our wait, which we much appreciated. Unbeatable value for the quality and level of professionalism. The food is unmatched in both presentation, flavor, and nutritional value. The entire restaurant looks great from inside to out. Unlike other brunch places, the prices are very reasonable, without sacrificing quality. My favorite location is the Lovell rd location, because it's incredibly convenient with Costco across the street. I can get my healthy macros for the morning, and take on the rest of the day feeling great! Not having to wait for coffee refills, because you have your own pot of coffee? It started out slow Like to bring us a straw for the blended coffee drink took five minutes My friend swapped out the green spring mix for potatoes and plate came out with a salad anyway. Not once did our server stop by and check on us. We sat there quite a while waiting for the check and just got up and went to the register where the cashier brought our check up online . Mind you, we weren't in a rush but wanted to get on with our day... I'm a good tipper. We left $5. Had the service been good it would have been a 25% gratuity. My first time here. I LOOK for First Watch when I travel. I love to try local cafes, but this chain is CONSISTENTLY delicious! My only issue with them is that they are only open for b'fast & lunch -- they close about 2pm. :P I discovered them in Knoxville, TN when I was visiting family. We went back SEVERAL mornings & a few lunches that week! We also discovered, upon our return, that Austin has one, too! Their pancakes & waffles are divine AND, what I love just a much, they CARE about ingredients! Their syrup has NO HFCS!! Made from scratch by FW! Tastes like my grandmother's homemade syrup!! :). LOVE LOVE THIS! I also ABSOLUTELY LOVE their A.M. Superfood Bowl -- peanut butter toast (I ask for no salt added) & coconut milk chia pudding with bananas, berries & granola!!). I ALWAYS get it -- even if it's for dessert. :) Their Million Dollar bacon is DECADENT & DELICIOUS (if you can spare the calories & cholesterol); they also have an ARRAY of juices, coffees (Mint Mocha iced is a fave) & other drinks. I've been to different First Watches but was disappointed this time. They have an extensive menu and nice environment. The way foods are listed in regards to ingredients did not hold true. Omelet was supposed to have mushrooms and green peppers but did not. Floridian French Toast was supposed to come with fruit on top but came with nothing but butter...we both chose based on me liking bananas/fruit and wanted mushrooms in the omelet choice. This was my experience. I ordered the trifecta. Two hard fried eggs. One pancake and two sausage links. Added order of potatoes for 4 dollars and something, well 5 dollars.. she brings me coffee and small pot. Yeah I can have refills that are hot. I asked for water and they bring you a small milk bottle of water. Mine was warm water. I noticed others were chilled with moisture on outside so you can tell they were cold. After waiting forever I get a pancake that was not even warm enough to melt the butter and I am posting the picture of the potatoes I paid close to 5 dollars for. I know restaurants are making their portions smaller and smaller but please serve them in a smaller dish so it doesn't look like someone ate some on them. Also, my plate had one egg. The kitchen guy said he would bring another one. I asked for manager and explained that the pancake was barely warm, butter would not melt. My potatoes were not warm and for 5 dollars there was barely any. While I am talking to her they bring my other egg which she leaves me with. She takes my plate to get me hot food and 15 minutes later I get hot food but a cold hard fried egg while I am waiting for my warm food.. oh I forgot I waited for 10 minutes for syrup for my pancake on the first plate they brought out that was when I decided to ask for manager. Yes they brought me warm food second time but had to wait forever which left me with a cold hard fried egg. 22.69 dollars later, before tip. One pancake one coffee, and 5 dollar potatoes it was not worth it. Plus two different sets of people ate and left at the tables on both sides of me. I was very disappointed. read more

First time at this location. They were not busy and yet our food took a very long time and was all cold. The server messed up the order and acted like it was our fault despite us repeating the order. It was not a modification. We have been to a First Watch in more than 4 states and never had such a bad experience even when they were very busy. We won't go back to this location. read more

Wonderful breakfast meals can be found at this eatery. I'd forgotten what a delightful place this is to enjoy them all. After fasting before a physical exam, I was prepared to try them all, but decided on one...."Frittata Rustica". It's basically an omelette with lots of fresh ingredients. My husband and I was greeted by a lovely server with the warmest smile. She approached with a steaming hot pot of coffee and placed our order which arrived shortly afterwards. What an amazing breakfast experience. We were visiting from CA and we tried First Watch. Excellent service (thank you Tow) and fabulous scratch made food. We liked it so much yesterday for lunch (I had the house made veggie burger; one of the best I have ever had) we came back for breakfast this morning. The avocado toast was delicious. @ Turkey Creek Location I placed an online order @ 10:10a and was given a time to pick up at 10:24a When I arrived, the staff is extremely rude and I asked how long would it be for the order to be ready. I was advised that there was 30 orders ahead of me. Over 30 minutes later, I finally got the order. When I arrived home to take out the order, the trifecta was left out. I called to speak to the store manager and was told that the general manager was too busy to speak to me. I asked if they could help me and was told that she made $2.00 an hour and couldn't help me as I asked for a refund for the items missing. I asked her name and she hung up on me. Talk about the experience you promote at First Watch? You may be busy now and I happily will share my experience with everyone. I want a refund for the food I didn't receive. And would highly suggest customer service training to your staff. read more

Okay.. we went on Easter.. it was really crowded. The service was horrible. Everyone around us was getting serviced faster than us. We had Sam as our waiter. My parents speak broken English and he didn't even try to listen to my parents when they told him they needed straws and such. We barely saw him. The food was cold and dry. My dad got the lunch combo and it was probably the best thing we ordered because everything else kind of sucked. My potatoes were hard cause they weren't cooked. It was just tragic. We're been there a couple of times and normally, the place is okay. Service is hit or miss but I've never felt the need to leave a bad review until today. Ordered both of their seasonal specials online. My wife had the sandwich and I had the hash. The hash was fine, but the sandwich we ordered looked nothing like what it was advertised as and once we got home to see the thing, it was essentially two burnt pieces of bread, with non melted cheese, two burnt slices of bacon, and one tomato. The entire thing, somehow, was also soggy? If I gave them any credit, it's that the egg was fine, not that it mattered because it all went to the garbage anyways. I had visitors in town from Silicon Valley. I wanted to take them to a nice eatery for brunch. I asked if they liked First Watch and they both immediately asked if it was a new type of Apple Watch. Lol! After the corny jokes, we drove to the restaurant. For the first time ever, we were seated with no waiting. My visitors and I tried several things on the menu and everything proved spectacular! We had the Brisket Corned Beef Hash, Morning Market Veg Omelet, Bacado, Seasoned potatoes, chicken sausage, Turkey sausage, and two morning Meditations from the juice bar. Service was good, each dish was delicious, and my guest even videotaped about our First Watch experience for their YouTube show.
