This is my absolute first choice as far as breakfast options go. The food is fresh and wholesome and tastes amazing. If I could afford to eat there everyday I would!! Ate here November 10th and was truly disgusted. My breakfast sandwhich had a hair on it as soon as 5th e Waitress laid it down, we told her and she seen it and immediately apologized and took it back. I saw all the cooks and none of them have any hair nets. She came and said I get potatoes for the mishap which I was grateful but my food already came with potatoes so I assumed I'd get double! But nope, they just gave me the same potatoes. It was not long until I got my sanshich by a different Waitress who was rude, we said thank you and she said "mmh" no smile no anything. I saw my samdwhich egg was a sunny side up style becuase the whole yellow yolk popped and leaked making my bottom bun soggy. I hate yolk but was afraid to tell them since they were already annoyed so we paid and left. Will not be returning back. Sad experience. read more

I had such high hopes for First Watch the menu looks great but that is where the love affair ended. My wife and I came for breakfast this morning after an overly long wait for our food it all came out lukewarm to down right cold. To top that off then my wife's came out way before mine when it was remade then once mine came back it was warm not hot and my eggs that where ordered over medium where the other side of over hard and covered in chopped parsley seems the kitchen staff needs some work in the end after being here for an hour and 15 min I drank my very weak coffee and sent my food back twice paid for my wife's meal and went on about my day not a good experience at all read more

I eat at this restaurant at least once a week. I love the atmosphere, and I love the food. The parking is a pain. Honestly, I park at the bank next door if I can't find a spot. This is an unfortunate circumstance for an otherwise incredible place to eat. The service has a personal touch lacking in most breakfast spots nowadays. The management shows a clear interest in not only the quality and integrity of the restaurant but also in the customer's satisfaction with their dining experience. I love First Watch and was so excited when they were opening one here. But the parking is SO limited that I've only been able to find parking at 7:45 am. When I've come for lunch twice I had to give up and go somewhere else. I even put my name in on the app and got seated promptly at a table for lunch while my husband drove around looking, and I ended up leaving because he kept driving around and could not get a spot! Horrible food and even worse service. The food had no flavor and chewed like rubber. It was inedible and when returned the server didn't bother to ask if something was wrong or if I would like something else. Water was not offered until the food arrived. The server never came back for refills. Upon paying the cashier asked how the meal was and when my partner advised he has had better she didn't blink an eye before handing him the $37 bill and walking away. I compare the one in Orlando at 6622 Eagle Watch Dr. as being the best when it comes to the scrambled eggs, customer service, presentation of the food. If you want an All American breakfast, don't go here. That atmosphere was nice and inviting. The server was great. But the menu was a bit too "fancy" and confusing. Wasn't sure what we were getting. Atmosphere is loud and obnoxious, with long tables keeping you and your company apart. The food is terrible- it tries so hard to be healthy that it ventured deeply into super gross. I've eaten at other First Watch restaurants so it was surprising how awful this experience was. The app they advertise everywhere wasn't working. The service was abysmal. Our server was good, but seemed overwhelmed. Food was sent out incomplete, several in our party received cold food and it was, overall, average food at best. I know that new restaurants suffer from inexperienced staff issues but what I found most surprising was the fact that I did not see one manager on the floor at all and no one visited our table. Surprised that a new restaurant would have so little management on a Sunday morning, arguably the busiest breakfast day. The final straw was the cashier who felt the need to scratch her face with my debit card while checking out. I'm usually one for second chances but it will be a while before I go back. If you want my advice, skip this place and go to KeKe's, never had an experience like this there, even when they first opened. read more

Listen. I never review anything unless it's either really really good or TERRIBLY bad. Unfortunately this falls into the latter. The food is excellent but sadly the three times I've been here I've had two of the worst experiences ever with service. The last two times I've come in I've had a server named Susan and let me tell you, I will NEVER come again if it means I have to be sat in her section. As someone who used to work in the restaurant industry the sheer attitude that I've received both times is astounding. The first trip I gave her the benefit of the doubt even though the whole serving experience left a bad taste in my mouth. This last time? Oof. I was talked down to, my husband received sarcastic responses to his questions, and she even rolled her eyes at me when I requested more coffee. I just can't believe someone with that much of an attitude problem is a service at this place. I like to people watch and while waiting for my food any time I see other servers busy as bees and being so polite and charming that I almost request to move but the house is normally full so it's not feasible. I have been eating at First Watch for years since they first opened in Orlando. High hopes were dashed after my second visit. The first visit was just over a month ago with poor service and attitude. Food was adequate. This recent visit was during a busy time and the service was great. Wait time for food from order was just under a half hour. I ordered a Frittata Rustica with a side of well done potato's. The frittata arrived cool to touch and cooked until it was hard, frisbee like. The potato's were hot and cooked dark to black on one side and boiled potato like every where else. I feel the potato's are a precooked commercial product from a plastic bag. If not then the "cooks" were able to get them from fresh to bad very well. First watch has a reputation of high quality fresh breakfast food. We pay a premium price and expect this franchise to meet that standard. My family has over a $100 invested in 2 visits. Lakeland has too many great breakfast restaurants to recommend this one for now. Maybe they can turn it around with a "Chef". read more
