    Million Dollar Potatoes
    Miller Q.

Food is always amazing, I also look out for their seasonal specials. Service is usually quick and efficient. Casual atmosphere, can get a bit noisy inside but the patio is nice when the weather permits. Pancakes are huge, be careful when ordering a short stack. Million dollar potatoes are a must get! Out of all the chain breakfast places, this is my favorite even with an above average price tag.

Service was great and food was fantastic! Ambiance is fresh and bright but when the restaurant is busy it is a little loud

Everything was amazingly good especially the million dollar potatoes and million dollar bacon. Everything seemed to be freshly prepared The service was outstanding and inside although it has a warehousey feel it's very pretty on the inside for a warehouse per se. Think more barn style. I have been here several times but I forgotten how good it was. Coffee's outstanding even the freshwater on the table in regular glasses you don't find that very often everything's plastic everywhere. Simple ingredients great taste.

This place is always good and the service is great. They've added some new summer menu items and Tres Leche French toast is amazing. It's a must try.

Great French Toast.and Pork Sausage. The rest of the menu is mainly for health freaks. The service was excellent and they took back something we ordered with no problem. The restaurant design is beautiful. Tip when getting the French Toast ask for the Warm Mixed Berry Compote

First Watch IS one of the best breakfast places in town! I'm not sure why, but I had gotten it in my head that First Watch was way overpriced for what they serve, because the restaurant feels so fancy and boujee, but even though the second part of that statement still stands, I was completely wrong about affordability! The feeling of a First Watch is kind of barn/ farmer chic. It's almost industrial mixed with ranch house style, and it works very well. All the food is served on these beautifully painted ceramic plates, and they have different options from your average breakfast joint. Their food is quite good! I especially enjoy the breakfast burrito. They also have homemade juices that are super popular. I tried a fun coffee/ cinnamon drink there last visit and it topped off the whole meal. And I realized most of the dishes are only $12-13! Why in the world did I think it was so expensive? Maybe I just imagined it or they adjust their prices, but I kind of doubt the latter. First Watch is definitely a bustling place though! If you want to go, especially on the weekend I'd recommend going on their website to join the live waitlist. It's really efficient, and then once you get to the restaurant they text you when a tables ready for you. Definitely the way to go!

Once you dine at First Watch, you can never dine at IHOP or another less quality breakfast place ever again and I mean that whole heartedly. We tried with our hearts in the wrong place trying to score free pancakes for my husbands breakfast and it just turned into one disappointment one after another. From the service to the food to the coffee I will never go anyplace else , it's just not worth the risk! Yes we learned our lesson the hard way and we can never make up for that horrible experience ~ don't do what we did ‍! Take my word you will love First Watch.

I love First Watch!! My favorite breakfast/brunch spot. So fresh!!! This particular location is in a prime spot right off of South Florida. Easy to get to. Enough parking. Clean and neat. Was able to place my pick up order with ease (even though I made some modifications). My food was ready when I arrived and was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. I even like that it was bagged with the safety seal to ensure it had not been tampered with. I was able to grab my food and quickly pay. Food and beverage looked and tasted great!

The Traditional Breakfast! I wanted something that was not highly processed but tasted like I would want to eat it again!! I am never disappointed at First Watch. Of course, today I substituted fresh fruit for the potatoes (even though they are very delicious) and would highly recommend @FirstWatch for the fresh ingredients and they understand how to cook an over easy egg!! #firstwatch # firstwatchlakelandfl @firstwatch @firstwatchlakelandfl

Awesome as always. Got my favorite drink The morning meditation and ordered avocado toast and bacon asked for it to be crispy. All came out in great time. Bacon was cooked crispy. One of my eggs was well done ,I like them over easy, I asked my waitress for just one more egg to be made and they made me two over easy. Which was very nice. Overall great service. Didn't wait too long to be seated.

If you've never been to a First watch I highly recommend! This location is highly accommodating and I've never had to wait! I love going here for breakfast with my friends to do homework! Make sure your computer is charged because most tables don't have outlets! I love the Parma skillet! It has a great taste and it's a good amount of food! The coffee was freshly made and super hot! I have also had the power bowls with quinoa and they work for nearly any meal of the day! One struggle we had was the server being attentive to us; however, giving her the benefit of the doubt, we were working on homework!

If you can find a way to get here though you absolutely should. I've been here a couple times and had people bring me things from here and I'm always very happy. My favorite thing I ever had here was a chocolate peanut butter pie, which was mind blowingly good. However, everything I've had from here has been pretty spectacular. I highly recommend the cookies here. I really love cookies, but their brown butter cookie is incredible. The pastries are really good too. I really enjoy the glazed croissant and I recently had a lemon twist that was very good. Finally, the sandwiches that I've had from here are both really good as well. The bacon was so overcooked as to be dry sticks that shattered into tiny bits when you tried to eat the sandwich. The fries were allegedly hand cut, but looked & tasted like (cold) seasoned frozen steak fries. The FSKB chicken salad croissant was just a soggy mess. And the eggs Benedict featured "Canadian Bacon", which is a US marketing term for round slices of bacon, not Back Bacon or Peameal Bacon that is actually served in Canada. The vibe is awesome with brick walls, tasteful decor, and pleasant music, and just what I look for in a local coffee shop. Prices are fairly reasonable with many drink and food options. Although there was a bit of line when I visited, it moved quickly and staff was efficient in getting ordered items out to guests. I went with a white mocha frappe (5/5), asking for it to be made less sweet. It's not something I ordinarily see on the menu at local coffee shops, so was delighted at how good it was, with just the right amount of sweetness to it. It's shame that there's nothing like it at coffee shops close to where I live, as it's something that'd be in my regular rotation of caffeinated drinks I'd order. As my friends and I enjoyed our experience here, I'd definitely return to Black & Brew, and would recommend them to others looking for a quality coffee shop in Lakeland.

The standout for me was the Holiday Ham breakfast sandwich, and it absolutely lived up to its name. Built on a flaky buttermilk biscuit, it layers a light, fluffy egg soufflé with thinly sliced ham, praline bacon that adds just the right touch of sweetness, and a cranberry orange jam that ties everything together with a bright, unexpected pop. Every bite tasted thoughtful and seasonal without being overcomplicated--comfort food elevated. I paired it with Jennie's Dolce seasonal espresso drink, and it was so good I immediately wanted another. Even more impressive? The second one tasted just as perfect as the first--a small detail that says a lot about their consistency and care behind the bar. The coffee shop ambience immediately stands out, with a relaxed yet polished vibe that makes it just as ideal for a casual morning as it is for catching up on work or meeting friends. Service was warm and efficient, and you can tell this place has become a staple in the downtown community.
