Our experience was not good. We placed an order over the phone, was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. Long story short my fiancé ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes because they didn't put the right name on the bag.... I mean what they wrote isn't even a name. "Lmilia" is what was scribbled down, his name is London. (Whoever took our order did not ask him to repeat his name or spell it out either) Nothing was done on the hostess's part once he arrived. He said she just stared at him... He had to ask her to go check with the kitchen to make sure they received his order (she said they did but they were just busy) He noticed a to-go bag that had been there a while and he had to walk over and turns out our order was sitting there the entire time!!! She could have asked what he ordered or even acknowledged him and his frustration..The worst part is we get the food home an hour after we ordered it..and it's just okay. The million dollar bacon was decent, the French toast was good after we re-heated it, and the Purple Haze drink was fantastic. The chickichanga was absolutely awful though. I have no idea what that sauce is supposed to be on top but it was NOT good and did not complement the flavors. The potatoes tasted like they had celery salt on them..? And there were no eggs to be found in the dish except a thin layer spread along the inside of the tortilla... I'm talking THIN..it was just meat and cheese and hot avocado.. super heavy and overall just not a well thought out dish. I would like to give this place another chance as we live 5 minutes away, but I'm really put off by our first experience. read more

We have been to first watch many times in many different places. Went to this first watch for brunch today; was a bit of a wait but understandable for a Saturday morning. The hostess' were so kind and friendly! we got seated shortly after and sat for a little while before being "greeted"; no hello, no my name is.. nothing. All we got was "y'all look ready to order." After we ordered our food took a little bit to come out but that's okay. We both got the trifecta and our waffles were cold. The butter wasn't melting in the slightest, everything else was fine though. My partners drink didn't get refilled once and we got checked on once but it was just to take a plate. We were brought our check about 5 min later and then told where to pay and have a good day. Overall experience was not great mainly because of the service we received. I understand bad and busy days can be stressful, but this was not acceptable. Service industry is not for everyone. read more

Ah I hate giving this place such low stars because I am a HUGE fan of First Watch! Many of weekends were spent at the Kennesaw location because the atmosphere and food was excellent. However, this experience was extremely disappointing. As previously mentioned, I frequent the Kennesaw location. But 2021 brought on something amazing: FW finally serves booze! But my old stomping grounds didn't make the initial cut, so I had to travel over to East Cobb to experience this. As usual, food was excellent. Presentation, good. Seating, distanced. Now on to what was uploaded to be the highlight of the meal. Tried to order a mimosa. Pretty standard. Surprise surprise, they were out of the bubbly. Okay, cool. 4 other options you can try. My mom went with the Pomegranate Sunrise so this left 3 to try. The server suggested the Morning Glory. Described it as "kinda like a screwdriver." Let me just say that this girl HAD TO HAVE NEVER had a screwdriver. You couldn't even taste the 2oz of tequila in the drink as it was over powered by the lemon flavor. Think limoncello with a splash of alcohol. Whatever, got through it. Couldn't leave alcohol on the table- that's abuse and wasteful. Or so I thought. Next and last drink we tried the "oh-so-delicious Cinnamon toast cereal milk." YALL. This came to the table curdled. Before we attempted it, I made sure that was the correct presentation. (I bartended for 10+ years and know that a drink does that when it's mixed improperly) server said, "yes, that's how it looks due to the almond milk (wtf already). I know it's fresh, we made it this morning." I am not kidding you that aside from the horrible mouth feel of milk curds, this drink LEGITIMATELY finished with the taste of vomit. And it wasn't just me, my mom could taste it as well! At that point we were finished with our meal, and wanted to leave. Word to the wise FW if you read this: Make sure you consult/collaborate with an ACTUAL bartender before rolling this garbage out. Maybe even take it back to the basics (screwdriver, tequila sunrise, mimosa) and give them a fancy/millennial name. Don't think it's good and promote it with hopes that it'll get you through this pandemic. Hope this improves ten fold and this location stocks up on bubbly. Until then, I'll hold out for the Kennesaw location to gain their pour license and go there. read more

Food and service were excellent. The only con was the complete absence of sound proofing, so it was quite loud to the point of making a conversation very difficult. More fabric (curtains, wall hangings...etc) wouldresolve the problem. read more

I've eaten at this location a total of three times over the past few months. Ordered the same menu item each time. First experience was a nice one. Food quality and service was good. Everything seemed fresh. Second visit was ok. OJ was the highlight. Third trip will probably be the last for awhile. Service was very slow, order was wrong and took sometime to correct. It's located in a nice area and honestly a great place to have brunch! The food was overall pretty standard; we got the shrimp and grits, blueberry pancakes, omelet, and biscuits and gravy. Shrimp and grits were subpar. Grits were not that flavorful, but the vegetables on it were great! Bread came with it, though it was pretty hard. The pancakes are always the best here though, so I would definitely recommend getting the pancakes! They're super crispy and fresh. Served borderline moldy gluten free toast that snapped in half like a piece of cardboard. I have been here enough times to know that is not at all how it's supposed to look. The serve told me she would get me a new piece then never came back or even acknowledged the situation/apologized. This was after waiting 45 minutes to be served cold food and asked what the other half of our party ordered because they weren't sure what food to bring out. This is my second time going to a first watch restaurant. The first one I went to was in Chattanooga and had a bad experience and I thought maybe a whole different location would be better. But not really. I'll start with pros though. Pros: - Cool decor and style inside and comfortable dining experience - Coffee was excellent! - I like the self serve water - Food was decent Con/bad experience: - I didn't get my food until after everyone else at my table was done eating and then it was not what I even ordered. My partner and I decided to have breakfast fast here this morning around 8:50am. The place was hardly full so we took a booth. We noticed service persons did not wear masks which was off-putting. Nevertheless we waited until 9:10-9:15 before anyone came to the table so there we sat with empty cups and menus. Finally my partner caught someone and asked for service. Near as I could tell there were 2 female and 4 male services so where was ours??? Finally we got a wait person who did make fresh coffee for us some 30 minutes after we arrived. Our orders arrived in good time. The quinoa breakfast bowl was okay excellent- the biscuits and gravy quite nice. The scrambled egg was over cooked and had no flavor- at least not egg-like. Long and short- I don't have enough patience to return to this particular 1st watch. With the pandemic raging in Georgia they don't make me feel sanitized or safe and for me the food isn't worth the price. read more

Had an amazingly delicious brunch this afternoon! Coffee was flavorful and hot and they had STEVIA as well-our favorite! The million dollar bacon WAS! Huevos rancheros with mixed green salad-Soo flavorful! The chorizo and fresh green chilies omelette and cheesy grits were above and beyond. We ordered a delicious and refreshing cocktail cinnamon toastcereal milk with coconut rum, coconut milk and agave with cinnamon stick! Goodness! Jamie our server was on top of each detail and put a smile on our face. We felt like we were on vacation in a destination city! But it's 4 min from home and we WILL be back. Our portions were substantial and brunch was only $43! Most options were give or take $10.5. Healthy options mets freshness and flavor! I took lots of pictures to show you so you'd know this is for real the stellar food two average people experienced! So proud to have this great spot in our community and proud to support them! Airy and industrial atmosphere. Friendly staff but very slow service. Plenty of "healthy options". I ordered one of the lunch specials. Half a ham and gruyere sandwich with a cobb salad, very good. The smoked salmon frittata was cold and mediocre. The server never refilled the beverages during the 25 minute wait for the food to arrive at the table. So it was a 50\50 on the food. read more

I love First Watch. Food is great! Service and ambiance is fun too. However, I do have a grievance. The Sandy Plains location in Marietta is turning off their Uber App. Why? I called and they told me to use their mobile app and pick up the food. Well, thanks for inconveniencing your customers who want to stay home. I recommend management figure a way to accommodate. You are losing revenue by turning off the Uber app. The Sandy Plains location is 1.8 miles from our home. Instead, I had to order from the Alpharetta location. read more

My only objection/suggestion is that, in spite of having a very clear posted policy about wearing masks upon entry and while walking around the restaurant, the FOH staff was still admitting guests without masks. Giving it a 3 because my husband had the bacon, avocado omelette and he really enjoyed it. My skillet was over cooked - the tomatoes and onions were burnt. The eggs were over cooked. The avocado was missing. They did bring me better eggs and a side of avocado and I went ahead and ate around the burnt pieces. This has been a favorite brunch spot for a few years. The food is always outstanding, the presentation is always picture worthy, and the atmosphere is inviting and warm. Our visit today was to celebrate our anniversary weekend, and there's nowhere better to start the day than with a guaranteed delicious meal. I had a few funny requests, and my server Shanteria was beyond accommodating. She simply exuded good energy! We were introduced to First Watch when we lived in Alpharetta and it quickly became a breakfast/brunch favorite. I was so excited to see a First Watch opening in Sandy Plains since we moved. Found out it's finally open so sent the husby to pick up breakfast this morning - so delicious! I had the lemon ricotta pancakes and he had the farmhouse hash. Yum! This is the 4th time "attempting" to dine at this location. The ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I love First Watch and was very excited to see this location opening. The staffing/management will ruin this location if things do not change QUICKLY! 1st visit I waiting 15 minutes before ever approached. Myself and 2 others at the bar helped ourselves to coffee while a table of managers/staff sat at the round table near us and just went about their conversation. After 15 minutes I just left (I left cash for my coffee). The 2nd time was better but nothing came out correctly but the food itself was fine. The 3rd time I sat at the bar again and waited almost 10 minutes before approached. This time I sat at the bar for 15 minutes with the server speaking once and saying she'd be with me in a moment...after 10 more minutes passed I went to the host and asked for a table...after 7 minutes the serve in my section still hadn't approached my table. The bartender saw me over here and came to apologize and I kindly asked to speak to a manager. Mind you...it's 8:45am on a Monday and there's only 5 tables sat in the whole restaurant. The manager was sweet and took ownership stating that they are getting pinched on labor costs. I will drive 10 minutes north to the Acworth location on the future!! read more

Skip this place. Food is ok but the staff think they are doing you a favor by letting you eat there. We were treated so condescendingly that after an hour wait ( after signing in on line as we were told to do), we left in frustration. Let me say to the management ( if you are interested ): in this area, we have plenty of choices, great choices, in where to spend our dining dollars. Great food. Great service. New Cute shopping area. They have outdoor seating patio and indoor spaced out seating during covid right now. I got the BLT and Tomato basil soup. Their bread is amazing! It's this thick cut multigrain bread but really soft still. My parents (senior citizen age) both got breakfast. Dad's blueberry pancake is as big as the plate with real berries. He also got eggs and bacon. Mom got the traditional breakfast. Delicious thick cut bacon same as mine in the sandwich. All three of us were full and took home leftovers. The wait staff was amazing and very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu options. Great coffee too. Highly recommend this place for meeting with a friend or parents. read more

After having a late lunch here, we had a good reminder of why we don't come here. The young lady at the podium greeted me with a "One, follow me" No 2 as my husband is coming thru the door. We were seated in a booth which was fine. Young female server asked for our drinks as she set down a large full heavy glass jug of water with no ice. Her fingers were carried in such a way that her fingers were on the inside of the glasses. I wiped my glass out but as the water was warm- warmer than tap -I asked for ice. That jug is heavy and she did not take a moment to pour from a standing position. My husband ordered iced tea and she got it right away and I had to ask her for ice so she brings a very large glass full of ice. I would have preferred the large glass in the first place with ice and water. She asked if we were ready and I asked her to give us a minute or two. 5 min later I am standing up looking for her. including ours there were a total of 5 tables occupied for a total of 8 people - yep I counted. She finally saw me, we ordered, food came quickly but my toasted artisan multi grain bread was missing and i had to ask for it. I got the "artisan ciabatta bread" which was 1/2 of a bun about 3 inches long thin and buttered. It tasted like cardboard. The Cobb salad was generous to the point where I took 1/2 of it home. Bacon on it was still hot. My husband got The Works and said it was good. Check came and we were charged for a coffee - $3.49 and tea- $3.49 that I did not drink. Hubby's section of the bill was correct. I just hate having to send a bill back to be corrected because someone did not look at it before presentation to make sure it is correct. I would tell you that the gal at the podium did not help my husband with the doors which are off set and difficult for someone with a walker or wheel chair to maneuver. At a similar place very near by, the hostess always is on the watch and will open the doors or have a server do so. The card reader was the one against the wall - again hard for a person using a walking devise to get to easily when there is one that is at the other end. Again, no help with the doors - and I can not keep to doors open which open opposingly at the same time. We will not be back. read more

I visited this restaurant in May of 2022. I can't tell you anything about this establishment, because we sat at a table for 17 minutes, and were completely ignored. In the meantime, everyone else in the restaurant were being brought refills and additional food. We were offered nothing more than a menu in that time. We walked out, drove to where we stayed, and cooked and ate a wonderful breakfast at home-which cost us less than $3. The management and staff of this restaurant should be ashamed. This weekend I was invited to First Watch in another city for breakfast, and I politely declined. I feel really good about that decision. read more

Had a not so great experience here this morning. (I am more than happy to change this review if I give it a second shot). Arrived at 10:40 this morning and there was a wait of about 25 or 30 mins (what the hostess told me and my friend). We gave our name and they told us that they'd text me when our table was ready. 40 mins came and went and a hostess came and asked us our name twice. Finally after another group of two who arrived after we were seated, I went inside and nicely asked what was happening. They didn't apologize and just said "oh we will just seat you now". We were seated at a large booth with just the two of us. They obviously don't have their seating situation down and if I had not gone in and asked I'm not sure that anyone would have helped us. The service was mediocre at best and my eggs Benedict was over dressed in hollandaise (should have asked for it on the side!!) over all it was a pretty bland experience with bad customer service. read more

Average at best. Lack luster service and cold over cooked omelets. Server spilled whole glass of water from tray which is forgivable for sure. She didn't know what the sauce was that was served on the side of the omelet and just said she had no idea what it was. And didn't go out of her way to find out. Potatoes were served under cooked 5 minutes after we got our eggs. Avocado toast was cold and lumpy, bland and lacked seasoning. The hostess was the most disappointing as I checked out. I told her we had a less than average experience. She said well it's your servers first day on the job. I suggested it might be helpful to provide training and she quickly snapped back that she wasn't a trainer. She evidently wasn't a busser either as we sat for 10 minutes after 5 tables left the store. They didn't have a lack of employees, just a lack of team work or interest in customer satisfaction.
