Very nice; we used to go to first watch in Florida and are happy to see it here. Food was great, including a lot of healthy items, so much so that we wish they were open for dinner so we could get "to go" orders such as the protein bowls. We liked the space and our waitress Allison (so?) was great. Wish they had creamer in a little container instead of the individual packets, but that may be a Covid thing. The wife and I went for breakfast the other day. Debating between here and A and M. We made the wrong choice and came here since we had never been. Bright and modern inside with social distancing between the tables. I ordered the hash bowl, sounded good with potatoes, veggies, avocado and eggs. I expected something like corned beef hash without the corned beef. The plate came out and the first thing I noticed was the toast. The butter (looked like margarine) was slathered on top of the toast like icing on a cake. Completely unmelted. I checked the toast, it was cold so the spread wasn't going to melt. The avocados were half bad, black spots and splotches. The potatoes looked and tasted like they had been on a steam table for a few hours. No crispy edges, just mushy potatoes. Eggs were done as ordered. Wife had the salmon benedict that she said was OK. Coffee was very good and they bring you a carafe so hot refills were readily available. Service was good. read more

Good food but terrible service. Seated and then waited 15 minutes for a server to even acknowledge us. Watched everyone who got sat after us get served. Finally had to get up and ask for service. Offered us coffee for our troubles and then charged us for the coffee. read more

Still standing in the restaurant waiting on my food as I type this. I came in to order my food to go this morning at the Sandy Plains location. Second time here in two weeks. I had the most racist entitled experience. I walked up and placed my order with the host as you walk in. She was a lady with black hair and two pig tails. She was in the middle of me paying and this white man walks up to the left side of me and she stops in the middle of my transaction and checks him out. She has to do it on the register to the right so without even saying excuse me, she moves him in front of me and says he can pay here. So I just moved because it was as if I no longer existed. The man never said excuse me either and proceeded to pay. She then proceeds to complete my to go order checkout. I asked also does this location have a military discount, she just shook her head no really fast. This location and Kennesaw both do not have military discount. I have visited other locations around the world in different states and they do. Moving forward I will move my business to J.Christopher's. They have a 50% Military Discount in appreciation for soldiers who make it possible for the freedoms in this country. read more

Good food but seem to have a stigma with serving alcoholic beverages in this area. I know there is another cafe across the street that does not serve, but I purposely chose this location so that I can enjoy my breakfast/brunch with a mimosa. So once I ordered my mimosa I was then told that I could not be given a "to go" cup. It was strange for them to assume that I would break the law. Thanks for ruining my experience and then slapping me in the face with your assumptions. read more

This was an absolutely horrible experience. We were told there was a 15 minute wait, then waited 50 minutes. There were empty tables everywhere but no one was cleaning them. The bacon was cold, there was a hair in our ketchup, lipstick stains on my glass, and half our order didn't come out until we were finished eating. Horrible service, horrible experience. food was good, but absolutely hated my server chris. To start, we ordered ice coffees and asked him if they had any flavored ice coffees and he stared at us and said " i literally don't even know what you're talking about". Like?? it's a breakfast restaurant how do you not know this? so we processed to ask him like vanilla or hazelnut flavorings. also my friend asked him if they had side salads and he stared at her for two minutes and then said you need to be more specific with what you're trying to order. I could continue to go on and explain how rude he was to my friend but any time we asked a question he stared at us and did not answer. say the least I will never sit in chris' section again, also he had a bloody ear. My family and I arrived at this location at about 12 PM, secured our place in the ticketing system, and were told the wait would be approximately 45 minutes to an hour. We were fine with this, as it was Easter Sunday. After about 40 minutes, my son checked our status. The waitress who signed us in told him it would be another 45 minutes. She also told him we had only been waiting 15 minutes. I then went inside and spoke with this waitress (didn't get her name, but she had dyed hair, lots of arm tattoos, and a wrist support bandage). She was unnecessarily rude and defensive, insisting the quoted wait times were "only an estimate." She told me we had only been waiting 30 minutes (had actually been 45 minutes by that time). She made no attempts to accommodate or even console us. Needless to say, we left at that point. This was our second bad service experience at this restaurant. We will not be returning. Fortunately, we had a good Easter lunch at a competing restaurant. read more

We were anxiously waiting for them to open. We went a few dats after they opened. Very cute and clean and love the menu options however we were disappointed in the amount of chorizo we received in the breakfast tacos, omelet and I added it to my meal (egg white frittata). It was so minimal we were all looking for it and could barely find it. The portions also appeared smaller than the first watch in Duluth. Great food and atmosphere. The chickichanga was absolutely delicious! The bacon was good and crispy as well.

I was fully prepared to write a terrible review for this restaurant, but Sarah changed our experience from bad to good. We split our tab between 6 people, which is a difficult task, but our waiter did it with ease. We went to pay and tipped accordingly. I decided to ask for my receipt because I had a gut feeling something was wrong. After 4 of us had paid, we realized the auto 18%/20% tip wasn't showing our totals but the tip (of the full tab). Our meals had been around $8 each and we ended up paying $25 each for our meal. I brought it up to the woman checking us out and she proceeded to say "Well I guess the other two don't need to tip then." At that point we were frustrated, but ended up leaving. We decided to come back and get it fixed because it wasn't sitting right. This is when we met Sarah. Without problem she cancelled our original receipt, individually organized our tabs, and made sure we didn't pay more than we needed to. Her initiative and ease at which she helped us was unmatched. Thank you Sarah for saving our experience at First Watch. We will be coming back. read more
