Always looking for a good breakfast joint, hehehehe did I say joint? huh huh huh huh as Bevis n Butthead would mumble. I meant to say fine dining establishment. But I do wish they had "joints " for after breakfast contemplation. Instead I have to wait until I get home, damn! So anyway I was impressed. I just had the basic eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast, I think. I had a joint before I went to breakfast. Not often eggs come exactly as ordered and the bacon, me likey bacon, was of good size. But what impressed me the most was the fried taters. If you can make great "American fried" taters you will have me come back. Fried potatoes is an art form that the majority of joints, there's that word again. Hang on I will be right back..........ok so where was I, memory is a wee bit foggy huh huh huh huh. First and most likely last time here. Noise level is to high, server was extremely slow it took about 15 minutes for ice water to arrive without ice. I ordered my eggs over easy they were over cooked with no runny yoke at all. read more

Their service is excellent and the food is of excellent quality each and every time and the service is fast even though they are usually busy when we go. the price is very low for the quality of food you get. no scrimping on anything. Check in online at 10:17 am and arrives at 10:31 an check in at the front and said it would be a few mins and we had to wait outside and they played favorites to other by letting the wait inside and I didn't sit down till 11:04 and when I check in on line they had an option to request a booth an I did when I sit down They left a booth open and I said I asked for one and they said it's for someone else. I like this place when it opened but now it is shitty and the management . I got stuck with my party of 3 and we got a table next to a newspaper rack and I no room to do my arms . There is better places to go to then this crappy manage restaurant . This place has egg in almost all of their dishes so they get 4 stars for that alone. The reason it isn't 5 is because they can be pretty inconsistent when it comes to both food and service. Some days they're on their game, others I'm sitting wondering "how long am I going to have to wait before I'm even given a glass of water?" Not even joking, during one of my visits my food came before I finally got a glass of H2O. When it comes to the food, their avocado toast is delicious, but their basted eggs came in a puddle of water. Couldn't be bothered to properly drain it? I'd recommend asking for "over easy" when it comes to that dish. Their asian pork belly bowl (I don't remember the actual name) was awesome, I'll give them that. read more

The first time we came there was no one at the front to seat us. There were 5 people waiting to pay. Finally someone came. Took care of all the ones who wanted to pay and then showed us to a table. We thought we'd give them a chance since they were so new. (Only opened a couple weeks) We were very pleased with our food. The Market veggie sandwich and Tomato basil soup was very good. My daughter had the lemon ricotta pancakes. She loved it! Then we went back last week. Now they've been opened plenty long. Again, no one at the register before and after our meal. We got seated for breakfast this morning and it took us alerting wait staff twice that we hadn't been served. So that was that- then we had the donut holes - they were very dry - not good at all. I really would not recommend this place. read more

For a breakfast specialty cafe I would have to say this place is average.The million dollar bacon certainly didn't live up to its name and at $5 I would say not even close to the best bacon I've had. Eggs were good but nothing special, pork sausage was a bit spicy but good, french toast was good and the whole grain toast with homemade jams was very good. Coffee was not impressive either but okay. The potatoes were also pretty tasty and tender. Overall I guess I was probably thinking it would be something special and I didn't walk away with that feeling. I several times have come to this location now and wanted to order the featured drink Blueberry...every time they say they don't have it and they won't make it! Really??? My staff and I would go to this location a few times (even though service was slow). I will never be returning to this franchise, they recently had a racial issue with an employee and the manager Gaby let me know they were not taking the issue seriously because they have other things to worry about it. The service was always slow so I guess they have to worry about that first. read more

We were there this morning for breakfast. The table broke shortly after we sat down and HOT coffee spilled all over me, my clothes, my phone, and wallet. We were not asked if we were okay. We were moved to a different table. The manager came over and said sorry and that our bill would be taken care of. In addition to this the "owner" was supposed to come talk to us. A very nice waitress (not ours) came over and said she was really sorry that this happened and that getting our tab is not enough. She also assured us the owner would be over to talk to us. We never saw this person and waited quite a while. Our food was rushed out which I am assuming was because of what happened. The food itself was good. Our waiter acted like nothing happened and told us we can go whenever we wanted to since they paid our tab. We then felt rushed and couldn't even finish our coffee. I think that good business is not only apologizing but also recognizing that a customer could of been severely injured. We try a lot of new restaurants and enjoy going out to eat. I don't think picking up the bill was enough in this situation. Terrible first experience of this really cute restaurant. read more

The food is good if you can get it! Three times I've gone back just to continue to have sub par food service- I can't even understand HOW they continually mess up breakfast, they are a breakfast place! Today was the final straw- three items were to be on my plate. They served it with two, missing the eggs, ice cold waffle, over cooked sausage. Sent waffle back- 5 min (yes five) almost raw scrambled eggs arrived so bad the table next to us commented, then my "new" waffle came so under cooked it was runny in the middle (I asked for extra crisp) then the bacon we asked as an appetizer arrived so over cooked it was inedible and my husband was already done with his meal! They said they took it to the wrong table....and then what did you do? Oh! And on delivery of cold and then raw waffle I had to ask for syrup each time! We returned for this treatment after the last time where they served each member of our table 10 min apart, and after the time before when the waiter forgot everyone's drinks, and the time before that when our entire table was missing their eggs off the plate! I have tried to love you, I love breakfast and have been to other locations across the country. But until they can get the kitchen under control we will not be back. read more

we came in today at around 9:00 .. they told us our food would be right out and then came back & told us they forgot about our food order. we proceeded to wait about an hour for 2 dishes. they then forgot about our million dollar bacon & told us that they were all out. after he told us they were out.. we saw other people order it and they got the million dollar bacon. this was a horrible experience. read more

It's great to have a new option in town. I liked it so much I went twice in one week - once for breakfast and once for lunch. I brought a different friend each time, both who had never been to First Watch and both were as impressed as I was. Service was great, food was delicious and the menu offers up a variety of items that are different from other local restaurants that offer the "usual" breakfast/lunch items. When you don't you just simply look racist and out of touch. Second of all make your pancakes taste better. I ate a pancake, due to lack of chicken and waffles on the menu, and I was like Dang bro this tastes like dirty underwear. And boy was I disappointed when I found out the orange juice was made out of real oranges. I think I speak for everyone when I say WE WANT ARTIFICIAL. First visit was perfection. Eggs the absolute best I have tasted and were like those that were just gathered at the farm that morning. But, I thought, it was a Wednesday morning, they were not busy, and I had an easy meal. Second visit was on a Saturday, at the height of the breakfast rush, with folks streaming in and out at a steady pace, with almost all the tables filled. Seated promptly, with a "glad you are here and I love my job" attitude, prompt service, quality of food equal to that of the first visit (in fact received meals a little quicker, but not at all rushed), and every staff member (except for the entitled blonde girl who had an air about her that she would SO rather not be there) had a smile and was equally as helpful to their team members as they were to the customers. If there is no posting after the third visit - assume that it was on par with the first two. In fact, if the third visit is even 75% as good as the first two visits, I am declaring this place the absolute BEST for breakfasts that do not bore you to death (I have never been more excited about oatmeal) , service, and overall experience. A little more expensive than your average brekkie restaurant, but as in all things in life - you definitely get what you pay for. read more
