He was quite disappointed mostly because it was too spicy for him. I have a high spicy tolerance and think it was indeed quite flavorful. If you worry that it will be too spicy, perhaps it would be a good idea to ask for the sriracha on the side. There was also a lot of the pickled, shredded daikon and carrot slaw which people might not be used to eating. We visited at this a brand new, nicely decorated First Watch at Lee Vista off Semoran. There was a long line in the morning especially after 9:00. However we agreed to sit at the community table (to share table with other customers) which saves us the 30-40 min wait time to get a table to ourselves I have visited 4 different First Watch locations so far this is the most elegant & beautiful one. read more

We've eaten at every First Watch in Orlando and one in Sarasota. This is the best location we have experienced! BATHROOMS ARE CLEAN and paper towels aren't flowing out of the trash all over the floor. Staff is friendly and efficient. We met the manager, Michael. For food, I got the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and apparently nobody in the kitchen can poach an egg. Had to ask for new eggs and they didn't get it right the second time either (oh and no extra hollandaise to go with the fixed eggs). I ate the home fries or "seasoned potatoes" as it says on the menu and they were obviously undercooked. The ciabatta the eggs comes on isn't even toasted. Spent $25+ and got to eat some undercooked potatoes and a sliver of smoked salmon. I've had better meals at Denny's. read more

The only con I would say is a couple times I have had them forget to put in the maple syrup for me when I would order the food to go (and I have no maple syrup at home so that's a problem). One time they even forgot a menu item and I didn't realize until I got home. However, the manager immediately gave me a coupon for a free breakfast because of that so it worked out fine for me. I ended up picking from the healthy section and ordered the sunrise granola bowl. It was pretty good but not something I'd order again. I did take a bite from my friend's steak omlete from the seasonal menu and it was pretty good. If I ever go again, I'll probably get that. Environment: I liked the rustic farmhouse vibe inside the restaurant, made me forget I was in Orlando. Went here while on a work trip. I was staying with my mother and she recommended it. The food was delicious with a lot of healthy and fresh options. The inside is adorable. Staff is so friendly and helpful. I had the white bean chili and a cold brew. There are different types of milk and creamer on the table. Different flavors and varieties. My husband and I ordered at the same time but his food (braised short rib Benedict) came out 10 mins later. I ordered the trifecta with Belgian waffle and asked for scrambled eggs with cheese and avocado. She offered for it to be mixed in but it was one slice of avocado sliced on top. It was colder than I like since I waited for my husbands food. (I feel like I may have gotten someone else's cancelled waffle) I liked the waffle is was light and airy but didn't care for the chives on top that I believe were meant to be on the eggs? The chicken sausage was a little greasy for me but great flavor for chicken sausage. i was disappointed that they charged me nearly $4 for the eggs and cheese on my 2 scrambled eggs. If you ask how I want my eggs I am not expecting a $4 charge without you explaining there is an up-charge. Had it been less I wouldn't have questioned it or had a received the 'add vegetables' portion I was charged for I wouldn't have complained. I small slice of avocado cut in 3 doesn't equal the charge. They don't offer any discounts for military like other places in the area so I guess I hold them at the standards they choose to charge. My husband enjoyed his meal which was piping hot but he commented on his poached eggs which were over cooked. Poached eggs to us means the egg should be at least soft or runny not green and hard boiled. I love First Watch but this one is only 3 stars for the confusion of servers not know who would take our order initially and then the food is definitely not up to the usual First Watch experience we are use too.
