I've eaten here a bunch and the service is pretty good and the food tastes decent. The problem is almost everything I get seems to be so saturated in butter and oil that it makes me sick. Maybe it's something else they add, but I always seem to have an upset stomach after I eat here. Bright friendly atmosphere. They have coffee for while you wait. And the coffee is delightful - not bitter - just smooth and full of flavor! The stars come from 2 places: 1) The phenomenal wait staff. They are friendly, happy, and helpful. My mom is a regular and one of the waitresses, Nichole, knows her order by heart. 2) Everything is customizable, and you can make just about anything healthy. Substitutions are free! In general, the food is solid. Not exceptional, but solid. There are a lot of options, and I think everyone would be happy. I've been told the pancakes are very good, but I have not tried them. Went there on Monday for lunch. Butternut squash bisque was the bomb!!!! I would highly recommend this. My other friends got pancakes. They said they were just as yummy!! I really wanted to like this place. My husband had been before with a friend. I chalk up my disappointment to it being a Sunday. My perception is they cannot handle the Sunday volume efficiently. The wait was twice as long as they said it would be. The service was poor. We ordered over easy eggs and got over hard and sunny side up. I won't be returning. One word: Amazing!! I had the trifecta. Eggs were perfectly cooked and Waffle was light and airy. Set up is neat clean and modern. You can tell they use sustainable and good quality ingredients. Was there today, probably a little too close to closing time.. After a long wait , 30 minutes, we were seated. The server was pleasant to start but was very defensive when I complained that we had been waiting 30 minutes after she took our order. She actually argued with me and went to check and reported back that the order was checked into the kitchen 15 minutes before . Probably correct. It probably took 15 minutes for the kitchen to check the order in once it was taken. Did not appreciate her attitude. All we wanted her to do was to check on our order. The food was pretty good, but there was no silverware on the table which created another delay.The coffee was cold, and it took forever to get that replaced. Bottom line: I have been there when I have gotten really good food, but I was never there close to closing time on a Saturday . Probably best to look elsewhere if that is when you want to eat. The server can only deliver as quickly as the kitchen produces, and they were not able to keep up with the demand . Also it's probably a good idea to advise the staff not to fight with the customers. I find the food to be really fresh, and the staff is always polite, efficient and helpful. I particularly am impressed that they continually add new, tasty and healthy foods so that it's not "same old, same old", while keeping original things on the menu that have been popular. Been here twice, I had two bad experiences with the hostess very unprofessional on how they respond and greet customers. Especially after waiting over 45 min and seeing other people walk straight in and get seated. Food is excellent although its over priced for the type of customer service you receive. Decided from my last experience 2/19/18 that I will never go there again and pay for poor customer service. If I can make a suggestion because the food is so great that they should send all there employees to a customer service class every 6 months. read more

we were leaving and my grandfather stoped to tell the a waiter that we had bad service and the system that they had was not affective. the waiter then got an attitude with my grandfather then walked away while my grandfather was still talking. my grandfather followed him back to the entrance of the kitchen where the waiter began yelling in his face and others stepped in to separate them. we walked outside where the owner came out and raised his voice at my grandfather. my grandfather explained to him how often we go to here for breakfast but now we will not come back and he replied as if he didn't care at all. saying, "well fine then." it was very upsetting to my grandparents that a place that they enjoy so much, showed no respect for its customers. read more
