The best way to do it (in my opinion) order the table the seasonal item. The pumpkin spine donuts are incredible and the million dollar bacon. Yum

Obviously a good restaurant as it was packed, but you can call ahead to get on the wait list. I had the 1/2 salad and sandwicht. I got the roast beef and Cobb salad. It was amazing. I am now on my way home and the taste and memory linger. The place has a young hip vibe although obviously enjoyed by every generation and population.

First time at a First Watch today, overall we enjoyed the experience. This location is on the main drag of bustling Rocky River (Beachcliff Market Sq Plaza) and it was somewhat difficult to find a parking spot. There is a free garage if you're able to walk a little further. We reserved a table for 8 and it was ready promptly. They didn't seem to have a long wait, but the place was hopping on a Saturday morning. They have 3 tables outside and I noticed a large amount of carryout orders too. The servers/hostess/runners were all very nice and accommodating. Our glasses were always filled and there was plenty of hot tea/sweetener/creamer choices available on the table. 7 of us ordered breakfast, one had a salad. Everything looked pleasing and tasted delicious. The menu isn't large but they do have an additional seasonal selection. There is also fresh juices and early day cocktails, think Bloody Mary and Mimosas. It is a chain tho it doesn't seem like one, I think that's a good thing. It's something different menu wise, maybe a little bit more upscale than what I'm used to. Several steps up from a Ma & Pa breakfast/lunch joint! The hipper vibe and price point reflects that. My teen/20yr old girls would love this place! Though half of my table was 65+ and they truly liked it too. My mom and I each had a 'traditional' breakfast (eggs, bacon, hash brown, toast) with one water and a coffee, the bill $32. Everyone liked the food for the most part and had an outstanding time! I'd definitely go again, when an occasion arises and look forward to trying another of their locations. (Crocker Park/Middleburg Hts)

Being able to join the waitlist via Yelp is nice. That meant my wait at the restaurant- to be seated - was very short. The problem is, even after I was seated, it was 28 minutes before I got my food. I wasn't in a big rush which is why I only deducted 1 Star, but it was longer than I thought reasonable. Everything else was great. Hostess was super busy but friendly. Waitress was professional. Food was yummy. I tried the flank steak hash and I'll definitely get it again.

This is the traditional breakfast and the multigrain pancake - well, half of it.

This restaurant is still operating during Covid-19 and is on Uber Eats! I just placed an order for breakfast and it was here quickly, was still warm and was not only organized in its packaging but all the packaging is either recyclable or compostable! That made me happy. I'd honestly never heard of this place before but it popped up on Uber eats so I figured I'd give it a try. I ordered the traditional breakfast (eggs can be made however you like and you get to pick your meat option - I had scramble and turkey sausage links, a multigrain pancake (with chocolate chips) and a glass of milk. It was all packed great and came with sides of butter, jelly, ketchup and syrup. The portions are so big I saved half of everything for tomorrow! My photo is of the traditional breakfast and the multigrain pancake - well, half of it. I ate all the eggs in one sitting since those don't keep. I'll likely order from here again.

My brother's family and my hubby and I came for brunch before my dad's funeral. There were 7 of us total and we were there at prime time on a Saturday morning. We were told 20-30 minute wait and it was probably closer to 20 minutes. Our waitress was excellent and did a wonderful job of keeping our drinks filled and taking orders. The only error was a coffee on my bill that should have been on my brother's. I had never been to FW before and my prior impression was OVERPRICED. I ordered lunch. A Cobb salad. It was wonderful. It definitely was fairly priced. My hubby got the Italian omelet. He said it was pretty good. He likes a lot of stuff in his omelet so he would have preferred more fixings in the eggs. For a breakfast/brunch, it was pricey. I think we were in and out in about an hour total. Perfect for what we were doing - heading to the church next door. I'd definitely go back for lunch. Since I'm not a breakfast food person, it's not ideal for me before the lunch hour . . .

I had pancakes with eggs and sausage and my friend had an Omelette (12 August 2018).

I caught up with a former co-worker here on August 12th for breakfast/brunch. I ordered pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausages. I ate 2 big pancakes and I was very full at the end. It was delicious. My friend ordered an omelette with small salad (spinach or Kale) and she enjoyed her meal too. This is a typical breakfast spot that is a chain restaurant as well since there are many First Watch locations across the country. So my rating is 4 stars because 5 stars to me means "spectacular" and although I enjoyed my meal, the pancakes/eggs/sausage that I ate was just normal. I've only been to this particular location once but I've eaten at First Watch before in Columbus. The menu may be overwhelming to you because there are alot of meal options on the menu but that didn't bother me. If you are the type of person who needs more time choosing what to eat then the menu may be a bit much. Nonetheless, the server I had was helpful in explaining the different breakfast options so just ask a server if you have questions on the menu. Come here for a healthy breakfast (or lunch) and leave happy!! **** This is my 150th Yelp review overall. 104 total reviews for 2018. I aimed for 100 reviews in 2018 and I've passed my goal :) Ate here on 12 August 2018. Reviewed on 9 November 2018.

First Watch is a yummy time. If you're a breakfast aficionado who both likes to be health conscious and also indulge in sweet treats, this is the place for you. Though this is a chain, I can appreciate that First Watch offers specials (written in chalk on the wall and also presented on a special menu) which allows for a seasonal and local flare. First Watch is also very generous with coffee. If you order coffee, which you should because it's delicious, you'll get a carafe for your table or the server will at least be sure to keep your mug full. Because this is a popular spot, I do indeed recommend arriving early because the wait times can be a little lengthy. The good news is that you can check Yelp to add your name to the wait-list and streamline the process. This location has a high-top community table which is appreciated by solo diners like me. Best of all? The service is efficient and you can't really go wrong with any of the menu options.

Remember it's not about food only, It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. It's in a strip mall area so parking was plentiful but I could tell that it would fill up fast as it seemed to be one busy place. Even though this restaurant is very nouveau, it still has that old time mom and pop family feel it's a definite classic type vibe. The food was well prepared hot and delicious. I always like to support a local venue. I have been twice, the service was fast and efficient and the food came along quickly. Staff really cared and wanted you to be happy. They serve breakfast and brunch. The emphasis was on fresh food seasonal food my niece had some great juice stuff that she liked and my sister had a nice fresh salad and I had a traditional kind of breakfast with the called a trifecta. The other time I had a classical breakfast. It's a great fun place but it does get crowded which speaks to its food but they do a good job of trying to serve people the best way they can.

After numerous Uber eats pickups ( we drive) my husband and I finally stopped in for breakfast and LOVED IT! Everything was delicious, the staff was great and the place is really well put together.

I had a great experience at this First Watch location! I tried a new item I haven't gotten yet- the eggs benedict florentine- and it was delish! Our waitress was also very nice and there was virtually no wait to be seated. A lot of people go to the Crocker Park First Watch which means this one is usually pretty quieter and there's less of a wait.

Ordered for pickup off their website. Arrived at the time of scheduled pickup. Ended up waiting 40 minutes for food. When i opened the boxes up the food was mushy, like it had been sitting out for a while. Very disappointed. Especially for overpriced breakfast.

Service experience was left to be desired. The waiter barely acknowledged our existence. The food took over an hour and was cold.

Parking can be challenging, there is a very small lot in front with 2 regular spaces and 1 handicap space; plus there are several spots on the street, all of which were full. I ended up parking on the nearby side street by the Burger King. Inside the cafe there are two distinct sides, the right side is set up as a coffee shop with the service counter, some high top tables and some comfortable seating; the left side is set up as a dining area with a bar. The decor is bright and modern with some touches of whimsy, overall very nice and comfortable, the kind of place you can relax and take your time. The menu is set up with a number of categories: breakfast, paninis, salads, wraps, flatbreads, wafflesicles and drinks. Prices are reasonable and there are some interesting items. I had a certificate for $20 so I ordered the Smashed Egg Avocado Bagel, the Bang Bang Shrimp Wrap and a big Chocolate Chip Cookie. The staff was great getting the certificate redeemed and guiding me through the menu. The food came out in a very timely manner, presentation was simple and straightforward. I had plenty of food for a very nice lunch. The egg and avocado bagel was interesting, the bagel was a bit soft for my preference, it was topped with a generous spread of egg and avocado mix plus some fresh spinach leaves. A very nice and healthy breakfast sandwich, a bit milder in flavor then I prefer, but good. The shrimp wrap was a good sized flour wrap around cold cooked shrimp with shredded cabbage and a great spicy sauce that perfectly complimented the wrap. This was excellent, the cool meaty shrimp contrasting with the crunchy cabbage and the zippy creamy sauce. I would highly recommend this if you like a bit of spice. The warm cookie was a great way to finish my lunch, very soft and gooey, packed with high quality chocolate chunks. About the only issue I had with the cookie was that it was hard to eat with just my hands, I ended up using the fork for most of the cookie. Jade Owl Cafe is a great local place to grab some high quality food, pastries and drinks. It is woman and minority owned, very well thought out and executed. The food is fresh and tasty, service was great and the overall experience was just what you could expect from a cafe. If you are in the area give them a try.

(One table was very cold and drafty so watch out hahah) Service was slow; I think maybe only two people were working. There was a giant garage door which will be so nice to have open in nicer weather!! We were also wondering if the mugs will be switched out for glasses when it's iced coffee season! We didn't have kids with us, but noticed some kids toys, a high chair, and changing table in the bathroom available making this place a kid friendly option! Overall, I would definitely come back !

The staff we met was pleasant and efficient. Our server, Mina, did an excellent job all night. If there was a weak point, it would be the food. It was not bad (I'm trying to be kind); it was just uninspired, limited, and not really well prepared. Because they do not offer bread for the table our only option was to order the "Soft Pretzel". It arrived badly overcooked, crunchy not soft, and even boardering on burnt. The charcuterie board was OK, but uninspired. I ordered the "Lemon Chicken" which was a full half chicken in a reasonably good sauce. But the meat was dry and it came only with brussel sprouts (yuk!). My wife had the "Walleye" which she simply said was "okay"... oh well. Our guests weren't any more impressed than we were. I will say our coffee and "Pot de Creme" were very good... thank goodness. We dropped in for Happy Hour, looking for cocktails and a few bites, and were immediately struck by the well-appointed space. The runway views at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport added an unexpected layer of entertainment--watching planes take off and land while toasting 14 years of marital bliss felt like the perfect backdrop. We started strong with a French 75 and an Old Fashioned--both expertly crafted, but that Old Fashioned? Smooth, balanced, and memorable enough to set the tone for the entire evening. Wednesday happens to be Wing Day ($2 whole wings), and we took full advantage. We sampled Buffalo, Sweet & Tangy BBQ, Lemon Pepper Dry Rub, and the undeniable star of the show: Garlic Parmesan. Each had its own personality, but that Garlic Parmesan was simply elite. Service was impeccable--Emily was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our experience flowed as effortlessly as the cocktails. Speaking of which, round two brought a Cosmo alongside a repeat of that Old Fashioned...because when you find the right note, you stay in that key. For food, we shared the French Dip Baguette--shaved prime rib, provolone, horseradish aioli, and au jus done right--and paired it with the Mega Crunch Fries, elevated with sea salt, rosemary, and a light truffle oil drizzle. Parma Heights is so far, guys. So so far... So after fangirling over the lush, girly decor and taking ALL the pictures ever, my 5 friends and I ordered at the counter a bougie drink and a plate of food each. There's abundant seating in this two story cafe so we found a table and waited between 5 and 10 minutes for it all to be ready. Despite my goal to stop spending money on beverages, I spent $8 on a regular sized iced decaf carrot cake latte with almond milk. Delicious and definitely instagrammable, but RIP to my money. I regret not taking the lovely glass it was served to me in, but my conscious kicked in and I didn't pilfer it. Haha! For dinner, I originally wanted to get a pizza but changed my mind last minute due to it being 90 degrees outside. So instead, I got an italian panini with a side of potato chips ($14). I don't like mayo so asked that be taken off. The only sauces they have are mayo, hot sauce, and horseradish mayo. I got the horseradish mayo on the side, but didn't really use it. I hope they can add mustard and ketchup to their sauce lineup in the future. All in all, I spent about $24. All 6 of us had very instagramable food and drinks. They looked better than they tasted for the most part. I liked my drink and panini but didn't love it, especially for the price. My friends lavender lemon loaf was gorgeous, but sadly dry. I love the look, like the menu, and wish Cafe Blanc wasn't so outrageously far away! I'd love to get brunch here with my gal pals! I wanna get one of their dessert crepes, please and thank you! I am giving Cafe Blanc 4.5 stars out of 5.

I arrived and met 3 friends here on a weekday morning in May 2026 to work. We (2 guys and 2 ladies)…read moreall work remote so it was fun to meetup. We all visited Cafe Blanc for the first time and loved our experience especially the large (free) parking lot. We sat on the 2nd level towards the back. QUICK REVIEW (read this if you don't want to read this whole review): Try the potato pancakes. Great food and service. Slightly more elevated cafe. Busy during peak morning/afternoon hours and most likely less busy in the evenings. I have not been in the evening yet. Free parking lot and free wifi. FOOD - there are lots of food options to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have sandwiches, salads, pizza, and pastries. I arrived around 10:20am so I wanted breakfast. I read that the croissants are okay but I haven't tried them. I ordered the potato pancakes, blueberry hibiscus tea (hot) as a dine-in order plus a slice of almond cake as a takeout order. The potato pancakes ($19) was delicious. It comes with 3 thick potato pancakes topped an egg on the center and with bacon bits spread all over. The potato pancakes also come with sour cream on the side which I didn't realize so I moved that to the side of my plate because I don't like or eat sour cream. I would order the potato pancakes again as a savory breakfast item but $19 is a little steep for the price. The blueberry hibiscus tea ($4) was a refreshing drink served on a mug. If you enjoy the combination of white tea leaves, rose hips, natural blueberry, and hibiscus then this tea is for you. I also ordered an almond cake slice ($6) but to go. The almond cake is a light and tasty cake with sliced/shaved almonds on top. SERVICE -- Friendly. Me and one of the shorter female employee had a nice laugh when I went down later in the day to order an almond cake. They started getting busy when I arrived after 10am on a weekday but I was able to walk right up to the front counter to order. The buzzer handed to me buzzed probably within 15-20 mins and I went down to get my order. I believe the tea that I ordered was ready first. Overall, I'll definitely be back. Prices are higher than a traditional cafe. The plus is that there is free wifi so it's a perfect spot to work on your laptop. The tables are big and the chairs are comfortable. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 99/250 total reviews in 2026 - 940 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 May 2026
