Trifecta
Mel N.

Salina was a great server! we ordered blueberry pancakes and oatmeal, almond pancakes with special maple syrup and I always get the trifecta special with two eggs over easy this time. I got Belgian waffles which were delicious and their bacon is also very good. Well done of course! This is a great standby breakfast place. It is a little hectic. Sometimes you get ignored because the breakfast time is very popular here! But you can always get someone to get your server.

Potatoes to go.

We order lunch online to go today for a l:40 pickup that was not ready . Had to wait until 2:05. Roast beef havarti and mushrooms frittata was good. Half of the potatoes were burnt . They do not scrape the overcooked pieces away . It is hit or miss when you order the potatoes in the restaurant or to go. I thought I would try the new little biscuits with honey butter. Unfortunately, they were not like the tempting photo on the menu instead it was a big biscuit cut into 6 pieces with sugar on top. I will stick with the side of biscuit and gravy for next time.

The time around was better than the last. I like my waitress and the service she displayed. She made sure I was taken care of, even while dining on the patio. It was a nice day to be outside eating, so that was another plus. I ordered the steak hash to go and ordered the half salad and half sandwich dining in. All of the dishes were pretty good. I really enjoyed the honey pecan chicken salad.

First watch at Cumberland Plwy have made some drastic changes to their restaurant design. They have strategically made greater usage of space. The front entrance has been resigned as well as the restroom front entrances. It just makes sense. I chose the traditional breakfast with turkey sausage and a Belgian waffle. For the beverage I had a morning mediation. My first round of over easy eggs came out overly hard, but my server Trinity stepped up and had the chef whip together a set of perfectly timed easy eggs. It was epic. How many times have we dined out and had to get something replaced and it came at the end of the dining experience? My food was still warm when the eggs came out. I was grateful. I actually like First Watch at this location. The food is healthier than most breakfast spots in Atlanta. First Watch focuses on Non-GMO dishes which all restaurants should have this as a requirement. The drink are always fresh and in good taste. I give this experience 4.5 starships. I have no complaints.

Food came out fast, but our service was slow and nothing to brag about. We agreed to sit outside since the wait was 20-30 minutes.. Luckily, they had heaters! It was a decent experience overall. They just need a bigger space.

We frequently visit this First Watch location, but unfortunately our last two visits have been very disappointing. Although we were seated promptly, we were not greeted by our server for several minutes. On both occasions, I had to return to the hostess stand after waiting 5-10 minutes just to get assistance. During our most recent visit, the waitress assigned to our table made eye contact with me multiple times but never came over. When I went back to the hostess stand, another staff member--who was not our assigned server--assisted us right away and was very pleasant. Overall, the service has been extremely slow lately. It also took quite a while for our food to arrive. I observed that the waitress assigned to us had other tables nearby that she also did not check on consistently. She took their orders and delivered beverages, but did not return until their food was ready and it was time for payment. Manager Eddie did come by toward the end of our meal, listened to our concerns, and comped our meal, which we appreciated. He was professional and attentive. We hope to see improvements in service soon. If not, we will have to reconsider dining at this location in the future

Service is always great. Food is always delicious. Environment is always inviting. Parking is always free. Just go.

The Works Omelette.

Having been here before, my husband and I wanted to give this place another chance. We both ordered the HONEY CARAMEL CRUNCH ICED COFFEE, which is salted caramel and honey topped with a sweet cream cold foam and toffee nut crumbles. We both agreed that it was tasty. For my breakfast I decided to order the WORKS OMELET, which is ham, bacon, sausage, house-roasted crimini mushrooms, onions and tomatoes with cheddar and monterey Jack, and topped with all-natural sour cream. I opted not to have bacon in my omelette since we had a Million Dollar Bacon (meh). Everything was just "okay" and we will probably not go back... we tried it again and we were still disappointed.

farmhouse scramble

The food was really good! Had the farmhouse scramble which was delicious. Also ordered the purple haze juice which was SO good and fresh. The atmosphere was cute, it was a pretty day outside so we sat out on the patio and really enjoyed ourselves! Knocking off one star for the overall service. First off, there was a 30 minute wait, which is normal for a Sunday brunch; however, the restaurant itself didn't seem super busy, multiple tables appeared to be empty, so I'm not sure if they were just short staffed? Once we were seated, our waitress was really nice, but we had to wait a while before she came to take drink orders. Once we ordered, everything came out quickly, but my friend's meal came out missing some of the veggies that were supposed to be included in her scramble, and she had to ask for those veggies to be brought after on the side. Overall great food and atmosphere and had a great meal, just a few kinks that could be worked out in the future regarding flow/service.

usually, I really enjoy this place however, today had a disappointing experience as we came for my husband's birthday and was unable to enjoy our meal due to hair being in his food upon its arrival This ruined his experience as he lost his appetite and we had to go. We'll try again another day. Besides this the staff was accommodating(the server was friendly, coffee hot) but the hostess brought us to a booth that already had a used cup- she stated "I already cleaned the table, but forgot the cup" - this was interesting because how do you wipe down a table and forget the dirty cup? Lastly its often too cold! It's time to turn down the AC

This is a staple for us. The seasonal menu is just flat out fun and eclectic. Highly recommend for a nice, non-diner type of breakfast.

I like the food but portion size is so different when you order out. If you dine in 1 meal can feed 2 but if its take out. Not the same.

After being seated just before 3pm, it took almost an hour to even get beignets. I had to ask for water for our table because our waitress was all over the place and forgot. Our silverware had only knives (2 in one) no forks. Our orders were the simplest thing (avocado toast, eggs, bacon, coffee) and we didn't get the beignets until almost 3:45pm. It wasn't even busy the way I've seen it be on other weekends so the delay for a such a small party seemed odd. Multiple tables around us had theirs before our waitress even remembered to bring fried bread? Wild. I asked if the egg that was part of my meal was boiled, they said it was poached and surprise -- it was boiled. So they didn't know the menu. My food was obviously put together quickly (after complaining about the wait to the manager) and was so bland, I don't see the point in coming back. I know they have better dishes, but the simple ones shouldn't be that complicated. The whole situation made no sense from the beginning to end. It's ironic that the manager said we would be in great hands as we got seated, because my experience was anything but great. Two stars because they were at least polite about it, but that was ridiculous.

I was greeted right away and had the option of a table or patio seating, although it was a nice morning I chose to stay inside to dine. My table was right by the bar. Other guests were sitting at the bar having a lively conversation, but not too loud where it disturbed others. All staff was helpful and friendly Saniya took great care of me. Started with Caramel Coffee-J added 2 hazelnut and 1 vanilla cream.. no need for sugar.. this coffee was divine. Scanned over the menu.. I decided on the Sunrise Spinach Scrambler--scrambled eggs, spinach, bacon, onions, topped with Monterey Jack cheese..I added mushrooms. Nice blend of everything scrambled just right. Omelette and Scramblers served with choice of grits or potatos and a English muffin. I got the grits.. they were nice and creamy. Of course I added a little butter and Sugar (don't judge me..go judge a pageant, lol) Nice spot for Brunch they offer spiked coffee drinks and other . mixed cocktails. Plenty of seating inside. Got to the table and the cushion we sit on was so torn up on the top. This should have been our first warning. Next they brought a high chair. I cleaned it with a wet wipe, which started as a white wet wipe and ended up being gray and nasty and I only wiped the upper half of the highchair. I had the Shrimp Benny which was served on grilled focaccia bread, but it came really soggy and had a large piece of an eggshell in my poached egg. The shrimp was nicely cooked. Spouse had a gravy biscuit dish and it barely had any gravy and ordered an upgraded grits bowl that came with burnt bacon and served lukewarm and fried chicken tenders that was so hard that they couldn't be eaten. The men's bathroom was disgusting. The sink was full of water and wouldn't drain. We will not be back and we will not recommend it to friends nor any enemy

Food: 5/5 We decided to try a leisurely lunch. The menu is not large, but it has enough variety to be interesting. Everything we tried was delicious. The smoked salmon appetizer portion was large, but the best part was the great flavor. I can see why this choice has been on the menu for years. The Vidalia onion soup will be a surprise for the non-Georgians who expect it to be similar to a savory beef broth like French onion soup. Georgia's onions from the Vidalia area are sweet and tasty enough to carry the soup without the help of a meat broth and the green pesto sauce offers a nice additional touch. The salmon on fresh salad was done perfectly. The panka-crusted cod with mashed potatoes and spinach was outstanding. Both were seasoned so lightly that the true flavors shone through. The portions were generous enough that dessert at the time would have been too much, but others can do as we did and take home one of the dessert choices. Next time we plan to try their sandwiches which looked yummy at other tables. Service : 5/5 Service was excellent from the pleasant greeting, through the entire meal. Our server, Clayton, couldn't have been more helpful with the menu, as well as being very efficient and amiable. He made sure our food was served promptly and our beverages glasses were full, and our requests were met quickly. Facility: The facility lends itself to the riverside experience from the canoe in the entryway ceiling to the flowers and bird feeders just beyond the patio tables. The white tablecloth ambiance informs you that this isn't a fast-food experience. There are tents set aside in a more private are of the garden as a lovely venue for special events Location : This isn't a quick roadside stop next to a 6-lane highway. Even though the restaurant is convenient to dine in an Atlanta suburb, the roads to the restaurant wind and meander for a short distance through one of the prettiest neighborhoods, with a canopy of large old trees, with lovely fences, hedges, and gates lining the road. There is courteous valet parking at the front door. The restaurant is not inexpensive but it is well worth the prices paid, in our opinion.

The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.
