Solid restaurant if you're craving some basic brunch. The wait isn't usually too long, and I actually used the No Wait app so that our table was ready when we got there (we were starving!). Before, it was a little pricey compared to other places that we've been to; however, they just started a you-pick-2 plate, which is great for us because you get half size portions (we aren't big eaters), and the price is competitive! My friend and I waited 40 min for our table. We were excited to try this place and very hungry. We both ordered the crab and asparagus omlette . Once we got our food and ate through it , we both agreed it was bland. As we left the restaurant, we noticed a picture on the wall of the crab & asparagus omlette . It shows fresh tomato's, full length asparagus , cheese, lump crab meat and hollindase sauce. Ours had canned tomatoes, chopped asparagus, and what tasted like canned crab meat. Very dissapointed. I like the food but portion size is so different when you order out. If you dine in 1 meal can feed 2 but if its take out. Not the same.

One of my fav breakfast places back in Florida and just found one here! I had the trifecta- a Belgium waffle cooked perfectly with bacon and eggs. Seriously the waffle was so good it did not need syrup. Fast service, we were in and out in an hour and there was a short wait when we got there. Highly recommend this place! read more

Came here for breakfast with the in-laws and will definitely return. I had a double stack of blueberry granola pancakes, which was delicious and a HUGE portion! My family and I have been here on many occasions and more often than not there is some sort of problem. It got to the point where I just expected something to be wrong...either items missing from our order, eggs cooked wrong, waiting forever to be greeted at the table...so now we just go somewhere else. I feel like ever since the restaurant changed from J. Christopher's they have been trying to figure out how to run a breakfast/brunch service and sadly they still don't have it right. I mean how can they be a breakfast place and not cook poached eggs properly?? When I ordered a Benedict my egg yolks we solid, when I told my waiter he was like so do you want new eggs...um yeah...and when they came out a second time the yolks were right but there were absolutely no whites. read more

My boyfriend and I came in around 10:30am and were promptly seated. I was almost certain we were in for a delicious meal and enjoyable experience -- unfortunately, I was only half right. Our server was very nice and polite. I ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine (spinach and tomatoes instead of the traditional ham), and my boyfriend ordered the Benny's Benedict (biscuits, poached egg, and turkey gravy). The food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. The first thing I noticed was the "hollandaise" sauce. The reason I use quotations is because I'm not really sure what it was. It was orange, gelatinous, and tasted nothing like hollandaise. In fact, it didn't really taste like much of anything. The potatoes were my saving grace, but even those didn't have any flavor at all. The plate was a bit too small for the meal, too, so it was a struggle keeping everything from falling off the side with each bite. Overall, the entire meal was lackluster and disappointing. However, my boyfriend enjoyed his Benny Benedict and I thought it was pretty good, too. I'm kinda sad that I wasted the time and money coming here, but at least now I can cross this place off my list. read more

I always enjoy breakfast at First Watch. The food is delicious, they have great variety, and they have some very nice servers on staff.

Service is always extremely friendly and kind. They aways go an extra length even when we're waiting to make us feel comfortable. This previous time today though, they seemed to be as busy as normal, staffed the samed, but extremely slow service, sort of non responsive by many of the folks working here. I asked for a chocolate milk for my son and the man working the host stand made me feel like I inconvenienced him, meanwhile i am looking at 4 open tables during my entire 20 minute wait time. Server was great. Food came out sort of slow, about 45 minutes for a pancake, bacon, and 2 omelets. I guess we will see how next Saturday. Goes. I've been coming here since they opened, and I felt today was slow service that normal but absolutely worth the wait. read more

Just tried to come in and get lunch at this location, the hostess was very very rude. We looked around and saw plenty of empty tables but yet she said the wait was an hour!! I then acquired about sitting on the patio outside so my pregnant wife could get off her feet and sit down, she gets smart and say the wait is an hour regardless!! I'd heard good things about FW, so my husband and I decided to try it out this morning. It was a bit slow getting seated, but staff is friendly, so it was fine. We ordered eggs Benedict and the SoCal burrito. My husband's burrito was amazing! The eggs Benedict was way over cooked though- not even a little runny. I asked for that to be replaced (took a long time to recook eggs) and when they came out, one was still over cooked. Our server (German) was awesome and didn't think twice to have the eggs replaced and didn't charge us (something I still would have paid, but it was a super nice gesture!). I would go back but I would never get eggs Benedict again- too many other places make them way better and poach the eggs correctly. read more

Ended up going for brunch one Sunday when we woke up and the power was out. Given it was super bowl Sunday, it wasn't terribly crowded and we were sat immediately. The food is great, it usually is though (I was frequented a couple locations in Wisconsin). The server was nice but she either needed more training or she was new. This place was very good. Starting with parking which it was plentiful. The first thing that I wasn't too happy about was the hosting area. There was no one there if so , they were not trying to seat you when you walk in . We were so confused with the line at the register an got in it since it looked as though that's what you were supposed to do. Anyway , the food was not disappointing. I had the French toast with bananas, strawberries an kiwi an I must say it was a large portion an Delicious an my daughter the lemon curd pancakes which was amazing. I love this place! The food is fresh, the prices are decent, the staff are super nice, and even when they are really busy the wait isn't too bad. The only things that took away from the experience were sitting too close to the bathrooms, which was unavoidable, and the parking situation on the weekend, which has nothing to do with the restaurant. Every experience that I have had with this restaurant has been deplorable. On my first visit, after sitting in an open area to avoid a 45 minute wait for seating, I had to wait approximately one hour for my order. So, I decided to call in an order for pick up the next time. A friend picked up the order and we found that part of the order was missing upon arrival. I called First Watch and was transferred to 4 people before speaking with a manager, who after a lengthy conversation finally said he would comp a breakfast in the future. A couple of weeks later when I tried to redeem the free order, I was told by the manager that he had no record of the previous verification. I will not do business with a restaurant with this level of customer service, considering the number great restaurants in Atlanta. read more
