Had breakfast there several times. Service was fast and good but food was just average. Menu selections were limited too.

Other businesses could learn a thing or two from First Watch Surprise. We had an issue with our food being delivered to the wrong table unbeknownst to us or our server Shawnee. When she realized what happened she was super apologetic and got us our food right away. The manager came out and personally apologized and offered to comp our meal (completely unexpected) this was by FAR the best customer service interaction we've had in ages a simple apology was sufficient but they went above and beyond. read more

I kid you not, mid bite of my pancake the waiter hands us the check and tells us we can pay at the front. What? We just got our food. Are they rushing us out? Weird. And it's wasn't even crowded on a Sunday morning, yikes. No "need anything?" No "do you need any boxes?" Just a goodbye. I had the oat banana pancake it was, okay. I am writing this review out of complete frustration and disgust with the experience I had at First Watch. I have placed two separate orders since this restaurant opened at the new Prasada shopping center. Both were an utter disaster from start to finish. The food we received was low-quality, poorly prepared, and absolutely not worth the inflated prices we were charged. For a place that prides itself on "fresh ingredients" and "quality meals," this was a joke. The portions were laughably small, and the meals looked -- and tasted -- like they had been slapped together without any care or attention. To make matters worse, the restaurant staff was indifferent and completely unhelpful. The service was just as disappointing as the food. I don't typically write reviews, but this experience was so unacceptable that I felt obligated to warn others. I left feeling ripped off and incredibly disappointed. Safe to say, I will never be returning -- and I suggest others think twice before spending their money here. First Watch has officially lost my business. read more

Not bad at all. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes. I was going to order the traditional breakfast but i asked our server if the potatoes had onions and they did. They were not able to make them without onions so I ordered something else. The lemon ricotta pancakes were alright. I expected more ricotta but i think it was mixed with lemon curds. But I didnt hate it. The drinks were good. The Lavender lemonade was delicious. The wake up watermelon was good too but The lavender Lemonade was better! read more

Came in at 7:45 on a Sunday. Hostess was kind and welcoming and sat us at a booth because we had a toddler. The hostess verbally confirmed with the server that we were being sat in her area and we were immediately ignored. Took 10+ minutes for the bartender to assist us with drinks and food. Wrapped utensils had food stuck on them. Food came out lukewarm and my son's pancake came out late and was raw in the center. Bartender was so kind but it's very frustrating to see others sat and immediately serviced. Just felt like the server didn't want to deal with us because we had a toddler. Very disappointing. This was our first visit, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere and the service were both wonderful. I ordered The Works omelette with potatoes on the side. The omelette was outstanding--packed with filling, not greasy at all, and the portion size was perfect, especially considering the price. My husband had the eggs Benedict, and he absolutely loved it! The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the fresh fruit he received was truly fresh and delicious. For dessert, we tried the donut holes, which were divine! This location is poorly managed. We love First Watch and was so excited this location opened because it is so close to our house but the three different times we visited, we have had nothing but issues. Thier online "waitlist" option is a joke. Everytime we join the waitlist, we will show up 30 minutes after we sign up and when we checkin they tell us it is going to be 45 minutes to an hour. One time we waited an 1.5 to be seated and then another 20 minutes to be greeted by our server and then another hour to get our food. So disappointing, I really hope they figure out how to run this place. read more

This is a review as a DoorDash only. Compared to other restaurants and I can attest to almost 15,000 deliveries in the last five years, this restaurant is one of the worst to pick up from because not only are they always extremely slow and you wait a bit, but they will not check on your order, unless you continuously pester them about it. You walk in and they say they'll just bring the order up when it's done if that means DoorDash don't want to wait. I wish this restaurant would just accommodate drivers a little bit more by checking on the order to give them an ETA and without this, I will no longer deliver from this restaurant and I've spoken to the drivers that feel exactly the same. I ordered the 2 eggs sunny side up with bacon and potatoes. My dish was prepared in a tasty dish and just the right amount. My wife ordered the scrambled eggs with bacon and potatoes. She is a PICKY eater and if it passed her taste test then it's good. It DID!! Service: Excellent service EVERYBODY was kind and attentive. We did not wait too long to get seated or served. Ambience: Again, excellent old country look but not ratty looking like Cracker Barrel LOL. The tables were man made stone, sturdy and firm. Seats were comfy. Art work was pleasant to the eyes. This was my first time and being a GM in the restaurant industry, I was very impressed! I find many places struggle with operating a great brunch and generally I am leaving a place not grumpy but not amazed either. Host got us sat very quickly after a miscommunication with my bad phone service. Very professional and helpful! Aiden was a phenomenal server and was mindful of the two babies we had. My family and I love First Watch! We recently (1/12/25) ate at the First Watch in Surprise, AZ. We arrived at 10:30am but had to wait to be seated until 11:30am. First Watch was slammed. (with good reason) The hostesses were excellent and had great attitudes in the midst of an onslaught of people wanting to breakfast/brunch. Once seated, our server was Leah, who provided excellent service. The meals that my family ordered were all cooked properly and arrived at the right temperatures. The food was both delicious and nutritious. Plating was great and very appetizing. For the price and the quality of the food First Watch is our "go to". We ate at First Watch twice in this week and we were very satisfied with both the food and the service. Service was excellent . My bacon cheese omelet was a big disappointment. Tasted made ahead and nuked. It was a flat omelet with a small amount of cheese inside, good amount of bacon. Been here several times and have had a good experience. That last two times here, it's been rough. Food doesn't come out together. Had to wait 5 minutes for pancakes for my daughter to arrive. Just seems silly that the whole order isn't up together. Also, I never receive refills on my drinks. Even asked for an iced tea to go and two times I didn't receive it. Just completely forgotten. And this last time, the water jug they bring and set on your table had food stuck to the inside of it. Just missing on several levels for the cost of food and so many other options. I have eaten at many First Watch in multiple states and this particular First Watch has been the worst. Ordered a Pineapple Express juice and they didn't have the mint sugar rim, ordered a Morning meditation drink and it never came. We ordered the million dollar bacon and they didn't have it but they did have regular bacon...how does that work? My wife's waffle was bland and under cooked. My traditional breakfast came with potatoes that were scorched on one side as if they were forgotten on the flat top, my scrambled eggs were severely overcooked and seemed like a smaller portion than before. At checkout the person asked how everything was and I stated alright and explained the situation. They stated I should have told my server but I expect more from First Watch and it should have been done right the first time. Corporate needs to assess the management at this place and get this ship back on the right course. We were there 5/24/2025 around 7:05am. read more

The service was horrendous! We had to wait for an hour and 20 minutes! That's after they said the wait should only be 40 minutes. When we finally got seated, the restaurant was practically empty. But that didn't help our server from walking by without checking in on us at all. We had to flag her down to get refills on our drinks. Then when we lined up to pay, the tone of the cashier was impatient and rude. The food was below average. The broccoli & cheese soup tastes like it comes straight out from a can. The salads came without any dressings. We had to ask for it. The ambiance was crowded and extremely noisy. The atmosphere feels sterile and claustrophobic. The longest wait and the worst dining experience ever! Definitely not coming back! Need to improve on clarifying reservations, front service needs to improve on their attitudes, and the foods needs to be freshly made. read more
