It's usually odd that I feel this good about a place that has pretty bad sausage gravy. It's my out-to-eat breakfast staple, with our without biscuits.. However, everything else was so delightful we did go back for a second visit in the same week. We might even have to go back soon as we whiffed and forgot to upgrade to the million dollar potatoes. If that sausage gravy gets improved, as in pork, butter, to heavy cream , then this place might be unstoppable. read more

Came here with lunch with my friends, I ordered something off of the seasonal menu, and then also the blackberry bramble sangria. The hostess was so friendly and she gave me two compliments but this review is not biased at all, even though I blushed a little. We were seated promptly. Our server was amazing and he was all smiles. I ordered the trifecta (Waffles, sausage, scrambled eggs) and my aunt ordered the hash with ovocados and bacon). First of all my blackberry lemonade was magnificent, chefs kiss and the other highlight of my meal was the blueberry sauce for my waffle (oh my) it was very sweet and sumptuous. Food 5/5: I ordered one of their specials, which is a Carna Sada, with potatoes and eggs and pickled onions and Shishido peppers. This dish was amazing! The beef was seasoned perfectly and cooked well, the pickled onions gave a great contrast to the heaviness of the dish. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The potatoes were crispy. And the sheet peppers were nice and crisp, and added a nice spice component to the dish. Highly recommend trying the special if they still have it. Service 3/5: hostess were rude. There was no one there, but they were still giving me a little bit of a hard time. The server was ok. She didn't really check up on me. She just dropped off the food and never came back. Went classic with the traditional breakfast and upgraded to their new millionaire potatoes. Potatoes were delicious. The cream sauce that was used was so flavorful and yummy! Food was out in no time and was fresh and delicious as always. Losing a star due to the silverware having hair wrapped around it. We were told 30 minute wait at 10:30am, but it ended up being close to 15-20. Happy girls. I brought a picky 13 year old with me -- she just wanted the Purple Haze juice, a side of potatoes, a side of Million Dollar Bacon, and a side of ham. I'm the more difficult one -- I ordered the power quinoa bowl, minus the cheese, sub the sausage for bacon. It took almost an hour for our food to come to us, and both came out wrong. Hers came as a skillet, the potatoes on bottom with chopped up bacon and ham on top. The bacon was not the Million Dollar Bacon, and all her food was mixed together (not the vibe). Mine came without bacon at all, so our server brought her bacon and me a side of chopped up bacon pieces to add into it. The food was fine. The waiting sucked. Worst restaurant experience ive had in a long time. Sat at our table for 25 minutes without even getting water. Tho it wasn't the waiters fault. Manager took our order and it still took 10 more minutes to get our drinks and it wasn't even busy. She also accused someone at my table of lying about being a first watch employee while trying to get their discount. Then proceeded to incriminate herself by saying her daughter used to use her employee ID number to get discounted food. We're normally very understanding but it was so uncomfortable. OMG! Amazing! I going to First Watch and this location did not disappoint. We had graduation at USF today and even though the place was packed, seating was quick. The app for 'call ahead' feature was super helpful. There was a party of 13 ahead of us and we still didn't wait very long for food. Our server was great and came to the table appropriately. Listen this meal was delicious! The potatoes are always so good and cooked perfectly with a nice crisp on the outside and hot and soft on the inside. To compliment my meal I ordered the morning meditation fresh juice mix which is AMAZING! I ordered the churros to go but I didn't particularly care for those and that's a new menu item so I'm okay with that miss. The restaurant was very clean and service was on point.
