Wow I can't remember the last time I've been to a bob evans but luckily this one was in the direction owe needed so we grabbed a bite before getting out the highway. I will say this place isn't the cleanest I wasn't happy with all the dusk on counters and picture frames and the glass were was stained as well. We ordered our caramel mocha and waters for the table. The caramel mocha is SO SWEET! I barely tasted coffee it was more like a hot chocolate. If you're looking for a delicious & fresh meal, this is a great spot. I arrived at 9:15a on a Wednesday morning and there was plenty of parking and we were seated immediately. Our server, Amirah was super sweet, smiling, and friendly. We never felt rushed. The Homestead Farmer breakfast was delicious! The gravy (for the biscuits & gravy) was very good. It's a great restaurant in Temple Terrace right off the interstate. Bob Evans Restaurants began when the founder, Bob Evans, began making sausage on his southeastern Ohio farm to serve at a 12-stool diner he owned in nearby Gallipolis in 1948. It has grown to 439 restaurants in the United States 38 of them in Florida. This one is located on the northwest corner of I75 and East Fletcher Avenue. I was staying in a hotel nearby and decided to try this location out. I am glad that I did. It is in a stand-alone building with the front door facing the road. It has plenty of parking with spots in front and to the side of the structure. As we entered the restaurant we were greeted and escorted to a table. The inside seemed to be mostly booths and had a friendly feel to it. They have a pretty extensive menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I chose a breakfast consisting of bacon scrambled eggs and a biscuit. It came out quickly and was delicious. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The price for most breakfast dishes is about $10-$15. First off, the location was perfect. Directly next to my hotel for the night. Walked in, got sat right away. Server had our drink order right away. Poor girl was the only server working and seemed to be struggling a little bit. Felt kinda bad. The food was good as always. I had the new bacon brisket Mac n cheese and my friends had the turkey dinner. We split and both were on point as always. The restaurant at the time was pretty quiet for a Saturday. I think there was maybe 5-6 tables at the time. Overall we were in and out in a standard amount of time. No real waits. Only negative, was lack of servers. For Saturday morning, we were looking for a place to have breakfast and decided to have breakfast from Bob Evans which was 5 minutes from our place. It is a nice breakfast restaurant with the wide variety of menu consisting of eggs, salads, pancakes, bowls etc. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted by the server Jamie and we decided to togo the breakfast from Bob Evans. After exploring the menu we decided to start with Tea and for breakfast we ordered Banana Nut Farmer Choice and Avocado Veggie Bowl. The service was also nice and we got our food in 15-20 minutes packed in the boxes. First we started with tea which was hot black tea. The tea was good. Then we had our pancakes which was delicious and we loved then. It was made very well and delicious in taste. Then we had our avocado veggie protein bowl which was delicious and had all the healthy contents in the bowl. Delicious bowl. Me and my partner love bob evans and typically the service is great but 2 times now we have gotten a male server typically in the afternoon time and his service sucks. I myself am a server so I understand the struggle but he only does the bare minimum. I felt like we were being ignored the whole time, we wanted to get desert but he was too busy checking the food window so we just left didn't get our check had to go to the counter. The last time he served us he completely messed up our order and forgot to put my food in. The food is always good and all the other servers are great but this one guy just needs to do better. read more

We went to this Bob Evans Saturday night and there were very few customers sitting in the restaurant. This gave me an uneasy feeling as the one we usually go to is on Dale Mabry North. Our waitress said she was from Haiti originally and was very attentive and polite- yes mam, yes sir, etc. She provided good service .The onion rings were very good and made a good appetizer. I must add that it took awhile to get our food after we ordered so it was a good thing we did get the onion rings as we were hungry. The rolls and biscuits are constantly good as was the banana bread. I like the fact that now they have a smaller version of many of the meals. The sole was very good and seasoned well, also he country fried chicken steak was also just perfect. We think the chicken fried steak here is better than other places. Stopped by here for a late lunch on a Sunday. The staff was very particular about cleanliness and wearing masks. As a family left after finishing their meal they all did not put masks on and the staff asked them to put masks on as they were walking through the restaurant. My point is they are taking this very seriously and I appreciate that very much. As for our meal I had a steakhouse burger which was absolutely delicious.This burger stayed together, had excellent flavor and was cooked to perfection. The other diner in our party had a special meal which involved honey chicken tenders mac & cheese and corn. He loved it. Everything was fresh and the drinks were just fine. I love Bob Evans! Great place to go for classic, simple American fare. This is one of those places that always leaves me nostalgic, bringing me back to my college days when my parents would pay me a visit and take me out here for brunch and on those Thanksgivings past when i would pick myself up some turkey dinner and pie. While the food itself is most definitely nothing fancy, its always hot and fresh when i order it, and notably not greasy, which makes it a popular spot for seniors. My personal favorite meal is always the savor size turkey and dressing, which you can order a scoop of mashed potatoes for your side (because what ELSE would go well with turkey and dressing??). I always get a bowl of extra gravy on the side, which they are more than happy to serve at no extra charge. You can go for biscuits or bread (btw, they make a wonderful pumpkin bread as well as their delicious banana bread!) though lately, I've been going for the biscuits. Soft, fluffy, and melt the butter on contact, it's a nice treat to get before the meal. Like i've said, the food is not at all greasy, so the turkey dinner itself hits the spot without making me feel sick. I like to get a whole pumpkin pie to go for the next few day's worth of breakfasts (don't judge). I always request they pre-slice, which they are always more than to do. read more

He started chatting me up about Door Dashing n i gave him my 2 cents on what i like vs pay vs traffic etc math. Dashing is hit n miss for me. U can make $100 in 5 hours or $30 bucks. Every day is different. So one of his friends walks in n notices him chatting me up n gave him the 21 degrees questions of who am i n wheres his partner lol he cleared things, she blessed me n adopted me, she did the same with all of us waiting there. She made me miss my grandparents. Cuz it's whom i get it from. When i meet strangers that need light? I give them light. No cost no question asks. They brought me up to live life with my heart on my wrist. Everything i touch or reach out? Has love in it. Lot of folks there seemed to be locals. Place gives me the mom n pops dinner vibes. Like i said before? Ima cone back n try the sit down. She introduced me to her daughter, another hard working madam behind the counter. I also interacted with their counter products. The food was served barely warm on a cool/cold plate. The experience would have been better if the food came out hot. My waitress said she wasn't getting any help from the other waitress in getting the food out. There were two managers in the restaurant and neither one approached any customers even after I relayed my complaint on the "barely warm" food. My wife and I were in town on business and were both in the mood for something different. We stopped at this Bob Evans. First thing I noticed as we were waiting for our table to be cleaned was about 6 or 7 plates of food sitting in the window waiting to be picked up. Waiting...and waiting....and you get the idea We finally got to sit down and looked at the menu. I ended up ordering the turkey with dressing, mash with gravy and corn. My wife ordered honey butter chicken and some sides. I typically don't order soft drinks at restaurants just water, but I was in the mood for a Pepsi. I will say this - that Pepsi was some of THE BEST Pepsi I have ever had The food came out and it came out hot. Seeing all those plates in the window I was a bit worried. We both enjoyed our meals and ever took some to go. Our server (Sophia) was a real joy to have as a server. I would suggest you ask for her if you go Now, why only 3 stars? I took 1 star away for how dirty the tables were and stayed the whole time we were there. So many tables with dirty dishes on them not being cleaned. It wasn't too appealing to look at all through dinner. I took off another star on account of their lack of desserts offered. You had the choice of Pie. That was it. 3 flavors to pick from. My boyfriend and I went to Bob Evans this morning for breakfast. I don't really care for the type of food Bob Evans offers (I'm more of a First Watch girl), since something about their food zaps my energy for the rest of the day. My boyfriend loves this place so we visit about once a month. The service is always great and the place is always clean. I was happy to see they changed up their menu a bit and now offer an Egg Benedict dish. It was pretty good and was just enough food with a side of hash browns and coffee. Prices are reasonable at $12 a plate and coffee. With so many dishes to choose from I usually get something different every time. I'm sure we will be back again. read more

First time eating here last week , the morning of a concert and man it was awesome. Both me and my partner had the "everything breakfast" and it was awesome. The hashbrowns could use some help, however the meal itself with the eggs wrapped up in bacon, ham, cheese, tomatoes and hollandaise sauce served with the griddles biscuit was truly a masterpiece. I would definitely come back in the near future to eat some of the cuisine that was made. I also ordered French toast but I couldn't even eat it because I was so stuff so I took it to go. If you want to wait 25 minutes for cold pancakes in a restaurant that is 25% full and fully staffed then this is where you should go. Asked for the check so we could leave after only getting half our food and had to wait another 15 minutes for the check and to leave. You are deliberately located next to the highway so travelers can get in and out quickly, act accordingly. The managers purposely didn't take our check. Saw us standing to pay and helped seat people instead of apologizing and getting about the door. Do Better! Your behavior is bad for the Bob Evan's Brand! read more

This places me happy. It's my second timing coming and I was greeted and treated with excellence each time. They have awesome prices for delicious food. I had the hamburger today with their siracha-avacado mayo and man was it good! My grandma ordered the pot roast and I snuck in a bite only to be amazed by such great flavor. I think I'll order that for myself next time. They have great desserts for $3 (on average). But my favorite part is their complimentary bread that comes before the start of your meal. They have a great selection including biscuit, cinnamon bread, banana bread and rolls. They all come out fresh and hot; the best part is you can order more if you can't get enough (or simply love bread). I was staying at a hotel next door and I didn't want to drive anywhere for food. So I walked to Bob Evans. The menu is large, lots of options. It's kind of all over the place. The menu that is... because one item will describe the entree and then in parenthesis it'll say (choice of 2 sides) but the sides are displayed. I asked the waitress and she had to turn two pages to show me where the side options were. As a individual in the marketing industry, I would make the menu friendly enough for everyone. In the sense that I would probably put the side options on the top or bottom of every page. It would facilitate the ordering process for people which in turn can increase the turn around on tables. That's just me. Anyways, on to the important part ... the food! I ordered the chicken sandwich. I normally don't eat meat, poultry or fish, but I really wanted a chicken sandwich. Boy was I glad I ordered it. It cam with ciabatta bread that seemed as though they had just baked it. Literally tore softly with your teeth. Everything was cooked to perfection. I haven't had a warm sandwich like that in a long time. I was surprised. My two sides were fries and mac and cheese. I would recommend to get some lighter option than the ones I chose. It's a lot of food. I didn't get to the fries and barely finished the entire chicken sandwich, it's a good portion. All in all, my meal came out to about $10. I didn't order a drink, I had water. Therefore, It's a decently price meal. The waitress did bring my bill prematurely though. Right after dropping off my meal at the table, my bill was brought too.
