First Watch is a great place for breakfast and brunch. This location at Shops at St. James Tulsa is conveniently located right next to where I live and opens daily from 7AM-2:30PM. I particularly love the white decor inside and the outside patio. Restaurant looked pristine. The food was good. I had the Elevated Egg Sandwich which I enjoyed. I particularly loved the avocado, over-easy egg, and brioche buns in this sandwich. The seasoned potatoes were alright, and I ate about half of them. I loved that each table gets a coffee pot at your own disposal. Service was excellent. My server was friendly and attentive.

I always enjoy the food here. It is a little overpriced, but I appreciate that it's fresh and healthy and good. I like that they have unique items and my colleagues and I enjoyed our meal. The service was decent those of us who needed to leave early were able to order early and the food came out in a good amount of time. The waitress was a little slow to refill drinks, but it was good. They need to put blinds on their window because the sun was shining in her eyes for the first little while.

We were seated quickly even though it was so busy. Our waitress was so happy and welcoming... a trademark of First Watch. Creative choices as well as standard but delicious meals. Highly recommend this restaurant

First Watch has been a long time favorite but this is my 1st time at this location. I love the variety of items and the healthier choices. My daughter ordered the traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs, potatoes, toast, & bacon. It was a ton of food for a great price. I ordered the quinoa power bowl & had a coffee. They have a variety of coffee and other drink options (there is something for everyone). Service was fast and our waiter was excellent. The restaurant was clean. Also, I loved the decor.

We recently visited First Watch for breakfast, and from start to finish, it was a genuinely satisfying experience. If you're looking for a spot that combines delicious food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere, First Watch checks all the boxes--and then some. Let's start with the food, because honestly, that's what impressed us the most. I ordered the Chickichanga, and wow, it was very good. It's one of those dishes that surprises you--in a good way. The outside was perfectly crisp, golden, and just the right amount of flaky, while the inside was packed with flavor: seasoned chicken, eggs, green chilies, cheese, and turkey sausage. It was rich, but not too heavy, and came sour cream on top. Highly recommend if you're craving something savory, filling, and just a little different from your typical breakfast fare. The seasoned breakfast potatoes that came on the side were just as memorable. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and well-seasoned--these weren't just filler potatoes. They added a nice texture to the meal and were so good I found myself picking at them long after I was full. A little salty for my taste, but never the less, my bf said they were not salty. My beautiful bf had the Biscuits and Turkey Sausage Gravy, and it was another winner. The biscuits were fluffy and warm, and the turkey sausage gravy was thick, flavorful, and comforting without being overly salty or greasy. It had just the right amount of seasoning, and the portion size was generous. It's the kind of meal that hits the spot on a weekend morning when you want something hearty and soul-warming. And then there was Paige, our server--absolutely awesome. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. She made us feel welcome right away and was on top of everything: checking in without hovering, keeping the coffee cups full, and giving great recommendations with a smile. You can tell she enjoys her job, and it really made a difference in our experience. The total for two of us came to about $36, which we thought was very reasonable for the quality of the food, the generous portions, and the great service. Especially in today's dining climate, that kind of value is getting harder to find. We left feeling full, happy, and like we got more than our money's worth. A 27% tip was in place. Final thoughts: First Watch is a solid breakfast spot with standout dishes, fresh ingredients, and an inviting atmosphere. Whether you're trying something unique like the Chickichanga or sticking to comfort classics like biscuits and gravy, you're going to walk away satisfied. Add in amazing service from someone like Paige, and it's the kind of place you'll want to return to--and soon. 5 out of 5 stars. We'll definitely be back.

We really like First Watch for their friendly servers and especially their breakfast menu with a twist. The offerings are so interesting and they have a few yummy cocktail selections. Healthier options are available on the menu.

I was so glad to find out that First Watch had not left the Tulsa area for good--I used to love going to the location by ORU with my family, and was really sad to see it was closed when I moved back to town. This new location is even better--it is nice and airy and modern, with plenty of room to navigate the dining room, even with assistive devices like a rollator or wheelchair, whereas the other location could be a little cramped. It is also full of sunlight and decorated in a fresh but welcoming way. I was greeted immediately by a friendly server who gave me a few minutes to look at the menu while she got my coffee and water. I found that the menu looked just as delicious as always. It was really hard to choose one meal. I knew it would be a safe choice to have one of their classic breakfast meals like the Tri-Fecta with two eggs, pancake/waffle and breakfast meat. They have incredible omelets too. But in the end I ended up being enticed by the seasonal menu and the "Carne Asada Hash" special -- with "thinly sliced carne asada, crumbled chorizo and diced red bell peppers in a potato hash topped with two cage-free eggs. Cheddar and Monterey Jack, pico de gallo, avocado, radish, cilantro and jalapeño crema. Served with two warm wheat-corn tortillas." I asked for basted eggs (they are SO good on top of a hash.) The eggs were cooked perfectly with a nice creamy yolk and they oozed over the hash which was full of tender pieces of carne asada. The chorizo portion of the dish wasn't very prominent but that was fine by me because it can be easy for the strong flavored meat to take over a dish. The flavor was balanced overall and very satisfying for my lunch. The server continued to monitor my table and I appreciated her kind attention throughout the meal. I'm already looking forward to another trip back to First Watch--I promised to take my aunt along with me next time.

A very nice new restaurant. Bright, comfortable, attractive colorful décor. A big painting of a bison stands guard behind the counter. The service is fast, attentive, excellent. Alexandra was our server. A very nice young lady who provided superb service. The first thing I noticed was the coffee. It was unusually good for café/restaurant coffee. Mellow flavors. Most importantly it had flavor, real coffee flavor. At most of these cafes, the coffee is so diluted that the filter used in brewing the coffee provides most of the flavor. A pot comes to the table with your cup. Serve yourself. Two First Watch's Traditional Breakfasts: 2 Eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, a slice of whole grain toast and a tasty fruit preserve for the toast. Most café seasoned potatoes are unacceptable. I prefer crispy hash browns. A surprise. These were very good. Crispy with onion and a little seasoning of some type. Check the pictures. These worked. Bacon, a generous amount. The whole grain toast with a smear of butter, was delicious by its self, and as a mop for the eggs. The fruit preserve on the other half of the toast brought the meal to a perfect ending.

Food was good, service was excellent, restaurant was full but not noisy. We were on a tight schedule for a Tuesday morning and they met our requirement for a sit down breakfast without a long wait (a plus in our books). We are t coffee drinkers but the aroma wafting through the restaurant is enticing.

Dan got the Mathis burger, which is a mixture of sausage and ground beef with jalapeños, fried onions, and cheese. I got the bacon cheese burger, and we ordered home made fries to split. About 15 minutes after we ordered, they told us they were out of homemade fries, so we got curly fries instead. The food wasn't bad but just not wonderful as I expected. The service wasn't bad but we did have to stand at the counter awhile before they could take our order. They told us they were out of homemade fries at least 15 after we placed the order, and they took our order to the wrong table. Shortly after we started eating, we heard someone else order homemade fries. I don't know if they got more homemade fries in that short amount of time or if that man had the same experience we did. The decor was unique. The restaurant is set off from the furniture store with a row of chairs, which customers can sit on if the tables are full. I enjoyed glancing at the furniture and wondering if we might want to do some redecorating. Something we really liked were the prices. Restaurant prices have skyrocketed this year. Not only are the burgers priced right, but they serve breakfast at last year's prices. I'm tired of paying around $15 for bacon, eggs, and toast. Next time we want to go out for breakfast, we are going to try Hardens. I'm bumping the review up from 3 stars to 4 just because of the price. It's a good value.

My wife summed up the meal and wrote the review with one short sentence. As she wadded up her napkin and threw it in the empty burger basket she said, "That was a damn good burger!" My opinion, the burgers and fries at Harden's are as good or better than most offered in Tulsa. Better than many I have had, that were rated as the best in Tulsa. (Excluding charburgers, charburgers are a different animal) We had cheeseburgers and the homemade fries. Big juicy patties flawlessly cooked on the flat top. The fries were perfect. Most restaurants don't prep their potatoes properly for homemade fries. The result, within minutes after serving you end up with a soggy, limp greasy fry. Harden's does it right. The large thick lightly coated fries stay crisp. The crunchy patches of potato skin add flavor to the already excellent potato sticks. The furnishings of the restaurant are immaculate and expansive. The styling is extensive and varied, ranging from contemporary to relaxed modern. Decorative art, colorful floor coverings, attractive lamps and vases complement the furniture. Grab your burger basket and drink, wander around until you find a comfortable couch or recliner. If you like to eat in bed, they are available. Whatever you like, put your feet up kick back and enjoy the meal!!

It was served steaming with a steak knife on the side, which told me it had been microwaved to heat it up. A warm cinnamon roll is hard to beat, but one that has been overheated is a challenge to cut and chew (remember the steak knife?). I'd prefer to have it cold rather than too hot. We went on a Thursday afternoon at 4:00, so we didn't expect it to be busy. There were a few people there but not a bunch. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and shown to a booth. Our waitress brought our menus and silverware right behind the hostess. She asked if we knew what we wanted to drink and I ordered Decaf Coffee. My wife deferred to later once she knew what she was going to eat. The coffee arrived a few minutes later and I placed my order for the Belgian Waffle, 2 eggs scrambled, Hash Browns, and 2 Sausage Links. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict and a side of biscuits and gravy and regular coffee. First before I forget, I am somewhat of a portly fellow. I carry about 70 pounds more than my doctor likes, and it's all right above my belt. Remember that the hostess put us in a booth, which usually is a challenge for me, because of my extra tire that I carry. But I was pleasantly surprised that this booth was spacious. It had plenty of room for us extra large folks without trying to move the table. The coffee, was good. Remember that I drink decaf coffee, so when I say it was good, thats saying a lot. I even asked the waitress if she had forgotten and brought me regular coffee and she assured me it was decaf. When the food arrived, I was so impressed by how good it looked, I forgot to take a photo, so the attached photo shows what was left when I was full. The waffle was the main thing I was after. I love waffles, and it's hard to find a good waffle. The menu claims they are Belgian Waffles, and I cannot disagree. They tasted like the Belgian Waffles I had in Paris, so I believe they are. The has browns normally don't rate a mention, but these hash browns were soft and not crunchy, and tasted like I expected hash browns to taste, from the first bite to the last. The eggs were scrambled well, which I would have preferred loose, but that's my fault for not specifying. I also ordered link sausage which was cooked as it should be. Next time I'll order bacon. The reason I avoided the bacon is that most places either burn it or leave it partially raw. Based on how the rest of my meal was cooked, I expect the bacon will be cooked right. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.

My family was warmly welcomed and quickly brought out those amazing sweet Croissants drizzled with cream. They managed to save me one when I returned from the restroom. We celebrated the patriarch's 91st birthday Sunday night. I knew from a prior birthday celebration we had there, that they don't take reservations. That means that if you have quite a few people in your party, you just have to take your chances that they can accommodate you! They do have a call ahead wait list, however it will only accept 6 people. If you have over that mark, you had better go elsewhere. It was a Sunday night, and we were meeting there, so I arrived early to register our party. Since I could not make a reservation, or get on a wait list, I was told that it would be an hour wait! I was hoping that maybe the estimated time would be shorter. It was not! We watched people come, eat, and go for two hours! When asked about the wait we always got the reply, we're waiting for the people to leave! What kind of an answer is that? With all the people that they seated during the TWO HOUR WAIT, they could have taken us. I guess that I should mention that this was the second time this has happened to us with a birthday celebration! It most surely will be our last! Unless, and until, they institute a policy of taking reservations (I would have been willing to give a credit card to hold one), or opening up their wait list, we won't be going to Cheddar's for another birthday!!
