Very disappointing experience. I have been coming to this location for several years. It is sad to watch the quality of service and food decline. From the minute we walked in the door: the host stand had two employees standing their talking about their personal lives while we stood and waiting to be greeted. The table we were led to had standing liquid under the table, it was explained to us that the table previously had kids and they made a mess... not my problem. When asked if we could get a towel or a mop so our feet weren't some unknown liquid our server returned with a dirty towel and handed to me. So I cleaned up the mess, then asked if we could get a dry towel to wipe up the mess. Should have left then. We ordered: The orders came out incorrect. The eggs were asked to be over easy they came out over hard.... the bacon was under cooked and COLD. When I told my server, they asked me what I would like to do? I asked to have my meal prepared correctly. 2nd try: Bacon was cooked but COLD like it had been sitting in a refrigerator. I have ordered here through uber eats but this is my first time eating in. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and the food was awesome. I had the Elote Mexican Street Corn Hash. It had the right amount of spice and was very taste. I'm a bread gal so I wish they had more than 2 small tortillas. My 2 years old loved her bacon and eggs. I love the fact that they use fresh ingredients. I'm waiting for when all restaurants offer almond milk for those that don't drink cows milk. That's my only negative! read more

We always enjoy our meals at First Watch. The steel cut oats with fruit is always a winning choice but my go to is the elevated egg sandwich or the avocado toast. The staff always accommodates and brings my cream warmed up for my coffee which makes me happy. Can't go wrong eating here. read more

Breakfast is the one thing I know how to cook, so if I'm going to pay someone else to do it for me it better be great. In the case of First Watch it was good. This was my first time at First Watch. It's probably been in my neighborhood for awhile, but it only showed up on my radar recently. My wife and I originally intended to go to Keke's down the street but walked out due to crummy service. We still wanted breakfast so we ended up at First Watch. The service here was much better! We ordered the millionaire bacon as a starter and although it was 4.99 for only four strips it was well worth it. It was almost a shame I had to share half the plate... From there we moved on to the French toast and the chickichanga. The French toast is pretty self explanatory, it was comprised of two large pieces of bread, wonderfully browned, a dollop of butter on both, and crying out to be doused in liquid tree sugar. The Chickichanga was basically a sophisticated gas station alternative to the breakfast burrito . It had more flare than a regular burrito, was doused in cheesy awesomeness, and had a lot of those wonderful breakfast flavors without all the condensation build up from being wrapped in paper to long. We ordered the Turkey sausage gravy with eggs and fried potatoes. We were impressed by the turkey sausage gravy and our eggs were cooked perfectly. Was it worth the wait? No. We were seated after a 10 minute wait. Then, we waited for over 45min after our order. Our waitress did stop by to let us know our food was coming and the kitchen was backed up. We finally flagged down another person just to let him know how long we had been waiting. He brought us a $20 gift card and expressed his apologies over the wait after checking on our food. We were finally served except the sides of breakfast potatoes. We had ordered extra crispy potatoes and our waitress said they weren't done enough so she asked them to cook them for another couple mins. Our daughter ordered the elevated egg sandwich which she said was cold but good. Our potatoes were finally served and turned out more on the burnt side than crispy. I love love love first watch. Just went back for my usual trifecta with the best Belgium waffle in the whole wide world ever, but this time I subbed a lemon ricotta pancake which I also love. I love their new juices they have usually for me it is the morning meditation. But my waitress let me sample the carrot ginger chai, and I am sure it came from heaven. I know I love ginger, and I chai but the carrot was throwing me for a loop. It was everything I needed this morning before my massage next door. I only had room to eat half my breakfast because I knew my massage was in a few minutes. But now I have dinner. I wanted to go out tonight for dinner but there is always tomorrow. This is not a negative review. I like First Watch and its healthier version of breakfast. I don't understand though how they can serve sausage gravy and biscuits using a turkey gravy. It tastes like Thanksgiving Day. I get it that sausage isn't a healthy option, but turkey gravy on biscuits is wrong. Not sure if this is popular, but I personally don't get it. Wow! This First Watch is outstanding local spot to hit up for breakfast! I ordered the Avocado Toast and the wifey ordered a Tri-Fecta and the food came out splendidly quick! We came out on a busy Sunday day as it was our first time, we sat in a large table among many people we do not know but had a chance to converse with. Our server, Lea was on top of her game, drinks and food came out quick and attentiveness seemed like it was priority. Next time when I stop on by, I am having a word with the managers and requesting LEA to be our server again. Overall: FOOD = Great SERVICE = PHENOMENAL Experience? The turkey burger lacked flavor and was luke warm. The soup was piping hot and nothing special. The salad was good and the dressing was unique. My mother in law claims the Market Veggie Sandwich was absolutely delicious. Value: Good value. Entrees and drinks are well priced. It's been years since I been to first watch. Took the whole family and got the kids kid breakfast, wife got the trifecta, and I got the crab and asparagus omelette plus cup of coffee. The food was served fast. The staff was super friendly. The waffle was wonderful and their syrup was warm....loved it! The grit was perfect consistency with just the right amount of cheese. The crabmeat was really good but the asparagus was slightly over cooked. The multi grain bread was awesome. Kids meal come with fruit cup (Blackberry strawberry pineapple) drinks are included in the kids meal. Coffee was nice and strong. Very nice place for breakfast. I love First Watch it's always super yummy. This morning after an appointment I decided to go to the nearest one by me which was the winter park location. When I walked in the host asked if I was dinning in. I said no could I place an order Togo. She called a coworker for that person to place my order. I asked for a menu and she pointed to the area next to the other host station for me to go get it. Which I did, I thought that was odd wouldn't you hand a guest the menu. The gentleman placed my order I immediately paid and gave him a cash tip. Order was in at 10:11am. Someone from the kitchen came with two Togo bags placed one behind the host station and the other by the Uber/door dash. The host who was a blonde looked at my order and said Greg? I said Ooh no I'm zully. Well an extra 12mins passed by and the gentleman said I'll go check on your order. Well the order was all along the bag behind the host station. When I said Ooh that's been there for a while the girl said yea it was, she knew that was my order and didn't acknowledge the fact that she missed read the label. read more

Great place for breakfast. Nice staff. Honestly, I haven't tried lunch, but the choices look good. As far as breakfast goes, I like that they have granola, yogurt, and oatmeal selections for when I am not in the mood for eggs. I love the lemon ricotta pancake. I also love that, for a small up-charge, you can get REAL maple syrup. That fake, chemical laden high-fructose corn syrup needs to go. No one should put that in their bodies ever. But I digress. The thing I appreciate most though, is that they have recycled paper take-away containers which are compostable. Styrofoam in our landfills also needs to go. Food is good, prepared nicely, and since we go at irregular times, we don't have to wait to be seated. There are long lines at peak times. read more

I had an irregular day off of work and was out running errands with a friend. We were so hungry and in the area and saw First Watch on Aloma Ave, so we made a split decision to swing through for what we were hoping was going to be a delicious breakfast. We sure did make the right decision!!! We were seated (in the place that we requested), immediately (no wait)! The menu had so many awesome options for breakfast & for lunch and the food was amazing!!! The store was well cared for & spotless and to our surprise, the food came out much faster than we expected, as I am a super picky eater and had a special order. The fresh squeezed juice was so refreshing and as we sat and enjoyed our breakfast, it was nice to see all of the staff out and about and assisting one another in operating this well oiled machine! The manager on duty even stopped by to make sure we were happy (WHAT!?!? THAT NEVER HAPPENS!!!) Overall, this was such a nice surprise and I definitely recommend this location for a tasty breakfast or lunch!! We will be back...SOON!! read more

Went for breakfast for the first time today. The place is lovely and people seemed friendly but overwhelmed. There was a line 4 party deep to be seated and at least 5 people in line to check out. There was only 1 person to greet, seat and check out people. There were at least 6 tables waiting to be bussed and turned over. Once we were seated the waitress was nice but not very attentive. We ordered a classic breakfast, the braised rib Benedict, million dollar bacon and the mixed fruit toast. Eggs on both dishes were over cooked, the bacon on the classic breakfast was over cooked and the toast for the mixed berry toast was slightly burnt and dry. Our food seemed like it sat a bit because my husband who never complains actually said it was cold. I will try again, but hope this was an isolated situation. read more

First Watch is usually a safe breakfast locale. We were readily seated with our large group. Servers did an excellent job taking care of our group. I love that they leave the pot of coffee on the table so you don't have to wait for a refill. I also LOVED that they had pumpkin creamer available in single serving containers. I didn't even know they sold them that way! I ordered the Key West Crepe which seemed overcooked. The edges were a little extra crispy/charred but the flavor was good. The shrimp were a good size and it came with sour cream and pico. I just had to try a pumpkin pancake too ('tis the season!) but it was HUGE... As large as the plate. It was well cooked but could have used more pumpkin flavoring. At the end of the meal the servers handed out individual tabs which were all correct. Solid experience but not mind blowing. I ordered uber eats and what was delivered to my door was a mini version of kingslanding after Drogon destroyed it. My food was burnt to the core and I was so hungry that I ate it anyway! This is a relatively new location for First Watch. I don't think many people know about it, because compared to other locations, it doesn't fill up. Eventually I think that will change, once more people know it's here. I've been here 3 times in the past 3 months. The 2 waitresses we've had are very friendly, and will help you with any questions. The other staff are also helpful, especially who I believe to be a manager. He usually walks back and forth, and you can stop and ask him questions if the waitresses are busy. There is outside seating at this location, which they don't have at their Longwood and Maitland locations, so it's a nice unique addition. The menu is the same as their other locations, and I love going to all because of their whole grain pancake selections. Although...I noticed this location might have a unique seasonal menu, which I didn't notice at the Longwood location. For the fall, it included Pumpkin Spice Pancakes, Butternut Squash Soup and a Quinoa bowl. This is a new favorite breakfast spot closer to my Baldwin Park residence. read more
