I had given up on finding a good seafood restaurant in Tulsa. Yeah, I have found a couple of restaurants in Tulsa that have good catfish, but that is about it. I was headed to Red Lobster, then I found the reviews for Fish Daddy's on Google. A whopping 3K+ reviewers have weighed in with a 4.5-star rating. Impressive. My experience at Fish Daddy's was impressive also, and a bargain. Good prices, excellent service, a comfortable modern décor and phenomenal seafood of the quality seldom found outside of Louisiana. We were there 2-3 pm; the restaurant was filled for the entire time. Customers really like Fish Daddy's. Rafael was our server. He was on top of it; perfect service. For me the FD'S combo. Specifically, Shrimp X3, red beans and rice, and slaw. I enjoyed each delicious bite of everything. My wife had the Catfish Atchafalaya. House made crawfish etouffee over a blackened catfish fillet, served with white rice and jalapeño hushpuppies. The crawfish etouffee was spectacular. The service was great. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and on point. There were 4 of us. The burger and fries were really good. The shrimp and catfish were also really good. The only thing that wasn't good was the tilapia. It was very dry and I had to use a knife to cut it. We also got desert. The key lime pie was great and it was a big slice, not just a sliver. The best thing was the brownie sundae. It was rich and delicious! All in all we had a really good meal and we wil be back asap. We just won't be ordering tilapia again. read more

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly, the food is consistently hot, fresh, and delicious, and the pricing is very affordable! If you have a gathering or special occasion, I would recommend making reservations because it's a busy place! We popped by around 1 pm today and were immediately seated. We ordered adult beverages - beer and margarita -, cornmeal catfish basket and Alaskan fish & chips platter. Our meals were tasty, but unfortunately served about 10 min apart. It can be a negative experience when this happens as one person is sitting there waiting on the other to be served. It's almost 3pm on Sunday and this place is crowded as ever but not cramped. Once I tried their food, I know why. Everything is fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoyed their Ruby Trout, tender and seasoned well and balanced, over the bed of white rice that's soft. The wild caught fish and chip is pretty good too, the cod is juicy and the coat isn't thick or hard. We really like the red bean and rice sides, buttery mash potatoes has the right amount of butter without going overboard. Service and ambiance are pretty decent as well. It was my husband and eyes anniversary and it was our first time there food was fantastic. My husband said that the rice and beans was good but it needed more rice. I had a wonderful dinner fried fish and shrimp. I've had hands-down all over Tulsa and I've always thought this place was always crowded and we tried it off time and it was still busy so that tells me that this must be a really good place but I didn't realize until I got there that the prices were awesome Was so amazed we had to order things to take home my mother at home love the fried fish, coleslaw, and hush puppies and she's 90. She should know we will be back the atmosphere. I'm not sure because we went in and sit at the bar. nice but I didn't see any chaos going out in the main dining room so I guess the atmosphere is really good too, we do plan on trying again thank you daddy for being there so long without us trying to that miraculous that we haven't tried. You have been there forever. There's too many places in Tulsa. I'm glad you're there and will be back. Came for lunch on and they were super busy. Quotes 10 minutes no problem. After 20 minutes -they skipped us and didn't hit our buzzer. No apology or taking responsibility but they offered to seat us immediately at bar or outside. We opted for outside. Waited 5-10 minites at table before we saw our server. Again she was probably slammed and they probably squeezed us in. Manager came by and got us drinks. Asked about subbing rice on an entree and was told they couldn't. Mention because there are items on the menu that they specify no substitutions, but not on this one. Food was great as usual. Service was good but overextended. Took 20 minutes to get our bill which is bad for lunch. We've come here a lot over the years, but seemed like a lot of hiccups today.
