Took a few bites and had to stop and take a pic so that I could share how delicious and crispy and perfectly seasoned the fish and shrimp are. If you like tartar sauce their sauce is one of the best I have ever had. Service was friendly and food came out hot and fast! I will be returning soon and recommend that if you are craving fish and shrimp you give them a try!

Sunday 7/6/2025. Went thru drive thru. A bit slow, but it was lunchtime and they were busy. Got 3 fish and 6 shrimp with 2 oyster add-ons. Total just over $20. OMG.... very good. I WILL BE BACK! There is a reason they were so busy

This place is kicking ass and taking names. Had been wanting to try it and was glad I stopped in. I had the Friday special three fish three chicken strips for 1450 with two sides. Very generous portions (actually gave me four pieces of fish instead of three). contrary to another reviewer, I thought the frying was done well and not too greasy. There's a sign outside that says all food cooked to order, and you can tell. My chicken and fish were hot and scrumptious. The basket of dipping sauces, including a spicy tartar and comeback sauce are complimented by malt vinegar and Louisiana hot sauce on the table, which is perfect on the catfish along with a squeeze of lemon in my opinion. Another thing that surprise me was the hush puppies. They were more like a mix of corn poppers, and hush puppies as kernels of sweet corn could be found a traditional hush puppy. The service is great and no nonsense. I'll be back!

Chick O' Fish is similar to Angie's Fish and Wings except better and newer. You won't be able to find whole fried catfish at many places, Chick O' Fish is one of them. This bone-in item is one irresistible delicious treat that you will have to put in some work (lots of fish bones). It was really fresh, probably the most fresh piece of fried catfish you'll be able to find at a fast food diner. I also loved the fried shrimp. Again, jumbo size and very fresh. Wishing the fried okra were whole okra but they were okra slices. They were good. Green beans were okay as a side. I would recommend something else instead. The worker at the counter was very pleasant. She looked like she wanted to be there and not someone who was forced to be there against their will. I initially wanted to give 4 stars because 2 whole catfish entree + drink + tips was around $20, which was more than my expected budget. BUT 4 lives (2 young catfish and 2 old shrimps) were lost for the life of one (me dying from starvation). SO you can't put a price on that.

After all the hype I just HAD to try Chick o' Fish! The place is pretty nice, clean, and well lit. There are two main dining areas. One has a music theme with 45s on the wall. The other is a local sports theme. Staff was courteous, friendly, and attentive. My order was ready in about 10-15 minutes. I got the #14, grilled tilapia with red beans n' rice and hush puppies. The grilled tilapia was nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. Red beans n' rice were good and the hush puppies were warm and crispy. My order came with two bonus grilled shrimp which were also pretty tasty. Overall, a good experience for a reasonable price.

Stopped in with my daughter and it was a wonderful dining experience! They specialize in fish, chicken, and shrimp, which you can get grilled for a little more, if you're in the mood for something lighter or healthier. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the fish was fresh and flavorful. The sides were also worth mentioning--classic red beans and rice, crispy fried okra, and creamy coleslaw. Each side paired really well with the seafood, giving a well-rounded, satisfying meal. The service was excellent, even though it's a serve-at-the-counter establishment. The staff behind the counter were quick, friendly, and eager to help with recommendations. They offer different sauces, so you can customize your meal just the way you like it. For a casual spot with top-tier service and food, this place is a gem! If you're craving seafood with great sides and the flexibility to add your own sauce, this is the spot to visit.

Chick O' Fish has amazing fried fish, shrimp everything else. We don't mind to drive half an hour just to grab a bite! Fish are fresh, crunchy on the outside, batter not too thick, juicy on the inside. I tried other eateries where the batter of the shrimp was so thick that it reduced the balance of the taste of the shrimp. Often overcooked. Not here. Very tasty shrimp. The hardest part is to know when to stop eating. It's pretty addicted. Their crab cakes are one of my favorites, balanced seasonings, great texture and generous portions. I like than better than most of the "hi-end" restaurants'. The place is well maintained, clean, even the washrooms. Folks who work there are very nice and really care. A lot of people would do take out as well, so there might be 20+ minutes of wait time. We've been here a couple of times already and we couldn't think of any other southern fried food joint better than them. Highly recommended!

This is a pretty okay spot to stop for a quick meal. I tried the Philly cheesesteak and it was pretty cheesy and had a decent amount of meat. They have seasoned fries as well. They have a drive through in which it did not take long to get my food.

The hush puppies were good but I prefer just plain regular old hush puppies. These tasted like they had maybe jalapeño in it. They went spicy just a little kick to them. The serving size is a big portion for the combos. It came with three fish fillets. The fish was fried good but it lacked seasoning. The shrimp was good! We all actually liked the shrimp. The fries were good too there was just a lot. My son loved the onion rings. My husband ordered the jumbo shrimp combo and he loved his shrimp. They were fried perfectly. He also got a side of corn which was good. I saw this place on TikTok and that's what brought me here. Like I said it was good and I love the fact that it is made fresh right there, but it lacked seasoning. Oh and I also loved that it wasn't fishy, if that makes sense.

The restaurant's focus is seafood. They also offer a variety of typical Mexican fare, in addition to the seafood. Their menu is available on line at their website. The details... It is not OKIEMEX. And that's fine. Mexican food comes in many varieties. I like to try varieties. This particular variety I don't favor. It just wasn't good enough to get enthusiastic about. Starting with the disappointing salsa. It was a replication of spaghetti sauce served hot (as in temperature) and hot (as in taste) from red chili pepper. Heavy on the oregano. Other than bottled sauce there are no other options. The beverage situation seems to be very limited. No diet Coke. We had the "Milanese de Pollo" and the "Filete de Pescado a la Diabla." Both generous, large portions, served on plates able to accommodate the amount of food. Milanese de Pollo was two thin chicken breasts, coated with a good layer of bread crumbs and deep fried. It was served with very lightly seasoned beans and rice. The beans were different. A hint of cinnamon was noticeable. The tilapia filet was grilled and covered with a decent "Diabla" style sauce. Good burn as it should have, and thankfully, not mouth blistering. The rice; meh. Each meal had a sampling of salad [just for presentation I guess] with a miniscule drip of dressing. The dry salad made no contribution to the enjoyment of the meal. Well then. Nothing on the plates was bad, but.......the fries were the best.
